I used them for a Samsung warranty repair (so I can’t speak to their pricing) but the customer service was great. They were very responsive and scheduled my repair as soon as the parts were received. Repair guy, Andrew, was super efficient and friendly.
I had a great experience with these guys. Samsung contracted them to repair my TV. I got a call from them the same day I submitted my ticket with Samsung (I believe it was a Thursday). They were prompt in their response. They took the time to stay on the phone with me and answer my questions - I didnt feel rushed. They were very clear in their instructions to me as far as what to expect: it was communicated that Id need to have the TV taken off the wall mount & I said as long as they gave me enough time that wasnt a problem. We hung up & about 15 minutes later I received a second call that the replacement part was already ordered and theyd be out to make the repair on Monday (4 days later). That gave me ample time to take the TV off the mount & have it ready for their technicians. They called me on Friday to confirm my appointment for Monday & gave me a time window of 3-3:30pm. On Monday the technician actually arrived around 2:45pm, but also called me about 10 minutes before to give me a heads up. The appointment itself was pretty quick and the technicians were efficient. I have no complaints about the service.
Was refereed by Samsung over to this repair shop for a warranty claim on an 8 month old TV with a failing backlight, when I called to arrange an appointment the agent I spoke with advised me that they did not have insurance for handling TVs. When Samsung Support called this repair shop they stated that they did have insurance, but not for taking TVs off the wall.Based on how commercial liability insurance works, if you are not insured for taking TVs off a wall, you are likely not insured for putting TVs in the service position. Which also requires lifting, manipulating, or moving the TV in the same manner and with similar or more risks for personal injury or breakage. It would have been much easier for them to say Due to liability concerns we are not able to assist with removing TVs off the wall and not blame it on lack of insurance coverage, because from an insurance perspective when on the customer premises any damaged by a covered party would have to be covered if they had general liability insurance.Since its unclear if this company is insured or not, I would recommend you ask for a copy of their liability policy before letting them on to your premises.
The first time Ive ever used a TV repair shop and it was the best experience ever. There were some minor issues but they did get them resolved right away.(The issue was not their own, it was Samsungs fault for sending a defective part to the shop). Andrew, the technician was a fast and very knowledgeable guy with Samsung products. Christina and Bryan always answered the phone in a friendly and responsive matter. Ursula was really friendly and nice, she took care of a billing issue right away... I understand that we are humans and make mistakes. But she took care of the issue right away. I am honestly not sure why this place has a 2.8 star rating, but this place should have a 5.0. I highly recommend this place if your Samsung TV needs any type of repair.
Theyll come to your place charging $105 no matter what. Then theyll charge $200 for labor and $150-200 for the actual part that needs replacing for a tv that costed me $350 new. In what world is this normal!?
These folks came out to perform a warranty service on my 75” Samsung HDTV. The technician was professional, on time, was very familiar with my model and came prepared with a variety of possible parts. I will use them again without hesitation if I ever need a future repair.
Contracted by Samsung to repair my new OLED TV. They are very responsive with flexible scheduling that worked around my schedule. Tech very friendly and knowledgeable. There was small issues with wifi e-arch hdmi connections, but the tech wasnt hesitant to replace the main part of the TV. In and out in less than 30 min.
Incompetent and terrible. Samsung should be ashamed to be using these people. Horrible. Just horrible.
Needed warranty repairs on my LG TV and was referred to HiDefinition Electronics. The process with LG was cumbersome and very frustrating but as soon as HiDefinition got involved it went much smoother. They promptly ordered parts needed for repair, kept me in formed on the status of those parts arrival and subsequently scheduled a service call when they did arrive. Television repaired correctly on first visit. Can not think of anything they could have done better. Great job!
Service appointment set up through Costco/Samsung. Prompt call on the scheduled service date. After brief problem description I was told that they will get back to me with the appointment time later that morning. few hours later received that call with information that parts have been ordered and appointment will be for the next morning. Prompt call before appointment time, service technician on time. Technician very professional and promptly changed out the parts and left the unit in working order.. Thanks for the great service..
Samsung should be ashamed of working with you. I was told yesterday since my part never came in on time that they can see me on Friday after 2pm. Today a very rude customer service is calling me to tell me that they can see Friday morning. I have to work! On top of that he hang up on me. You Mr. Dont get paid to be mean to people, You get paid to provide a service. If you hate you job then leave
This place was recommended to me over the phone by Samsung Customer Service line, but unfortunately these people are just money minded, they are not honest, and they do not have any integrity. When I asked them over the phone how much is the estimated cost of repair (clarifying that my LED back-lights are actually the issue) they were not able to tell me with the excuse that the technician will need to go home to do the evaluation ($105 per trip!). Thats fine, but they also never mentioned that they are not able to order LED back-light strips as spare parts from Samsung. They are only able to order the whole LED panel (which with their profit margin is about $1000 for 50 TV! Ridiculous isnt it - you can probably buy 2 or 3 TVs with these money...). If HDE have put the customer first they should have mentioned that they are not able to replace LED back-lights only but they can order standard big parts such as complete LED display...Then I would have gone to another service center or perhaps I could have made the right decision to buy a new TV.However the Hi Definition Electronics customer care is apparently instructed to keep quiet and to send someone, who will take a quick look, give a ridiculously high estimate, and get their easy money without doing any repair rather than advising the customers honestly which is the best thing to do. In my case I knew my problem and I asked them about the exact parts, and whether they are able to bring them during the service trip. All they needed to tell me is the truth: they do not order back-light replacements from the TV manufacturer but they can only replace the whole LED display - with this info I can make the right decision. In summary - these are very unethical and money minded people. I do not recommend this place to anyone! Be very careful! If your TV is not working consider buying a new one with extended warranty. I will never use these guys again! It was a horrible experience...
Samsung outsourced me to Hi Definition to fix a recurring outage problem with a 3 month old Samsung TV. I spoke with Hi Def a day later and they came the next day. They were courteous on the phone and called in the morning to give me an arrival time estimate which they met. The repairman, Andrew, was efficient, very knowledgeable about Samsung TVs, professional and communicative. Replaced the defective board and was in and out within 45 minutes. Wonderful service!
I worked here back in 2008 temporarily and this place is a REAL joke. The owner Ursula was dating one of the repair men and when he called it off, she fired him!!!There was also a Mexican girl called Lisa who did nothing but sat on her lazy behind and surfed the internet all day making trouble for other employees. There was this nice black guy named Alton whom Ursula always looked for a reason to FIRE him! To be honest Ursula is a racist Australian(I think thats where shes from) pig and that is putting it in a nice way. There was another cool white guy named Brian that worked there, whom Ursula would show him favoritism over the other repair men due to him being Caucasian. This pig is racist! They never truly diagnosed or trouble shoot Televison sets when customers called in, like they claimed they did. Ursula would more than often tell customers there mother boards were out and they needed to purchase a new mother board. She often falsified repair orders to get Samsung along with other Warranty companies to pay top dollars for repairs. Many mistakes were made, with her so called diagnoses which ended up having repairman go out the same homes more than once, which in turn cost the customer more money as they would have to pay each time the repairman showed up back at their homes.Run people and hide your hard earned money, this place is a total rip off, there are honest, friendly, reputable TV Repair companies in Katy and surrounding areas. The owner has the morals of an ally cat!!!! She will do anything for a quick buck!
These people are crooks, plain and simple. I have a samsung TV and samsung extended the warranty to cover a power issue. Tech came out and the TV powered right up. Told me to use a certain power cable. The next day the TV wouldnt power up again. Called them on Monday and they REFUSED to come back out unless I paid them out of pocket. Their receipt says, and I quote, warranty: 30 days on labor performed & trip/diagnosis charge. I called them 3 days later (2 of which were the weekend). Avoid them at all costs.
Great service, technician was friendly and knowledgeable, I had other companies at my house before but none of them could fix the issue with my Samsung TV, HiDefinition came out and diagnosed the issue right away and came back to fix the TV after a couple of days.Just call professional like them when you want things done right!
I had a technician named Andrew come out repaired my defective Samsung tv in under a hour very professional the call center gave me a time and date and delivered on time overall satisfied with experience disappointed in Samsung tv slightly because the tv was defective but they did pay for repair hopefully it lasts only time will tell Thanks
Very rude people, no customer service. Just money hungry
My experience from beginning to the end was first rate! My 2008 Samsung TV was not turning on, I brought it in to HiDefinition Electronics where Brian immediately plugged it in and told me that there was a 99% chance it was the capacitor that was the problem and that Samsung would cover the part and installation if so. He gave me the contact # right then and there and was told by the Samsung operator that they would cover it. I was called by Brian a couple of days later and told me it was done, he even helped me put it into my vehicle. I went in expecting to pay and am still pleased on how I was treated that I needed to write this review!
I highly recommend this repair business. I had an older Mitubishi rear projection 52 TV which lost all sound. They sent Andrew out from Katy, Texas to Nassua Bay, Texas to diagnose my problem for a reasonable charge. With Andrews help, he found my soundboard had gone out. He went the extra mile to suggest my buying an external soundbar from Frys for less than $100 which I did. He talked me through the installation of such the next day over the phone, as I couldnt make it work on my own. A week later, the shop called me that they had checked with Mitsubishi, and they no longer made the part I needed, but I said that was OK because thanks to Andrew, I now had a really super setup with an external soundbar. Fancy! All employees went the extra mile to help me just for the one set charge of diagnosis. Where can you find that today? I highly recommend this business.
I had my TV repaired from HiDefenition. They did a great job and excellent customer service. Thanks Ursula and Brian.
The people are crooks ,the lazy ass technician came to repair my tv and ended up messing it up totally , the forced Samsung to cancel my warranty because they saw ants inside the tv .. Well I have gotten my attorney involved getting ready to kick some ass...
The place doesnt exist.
Very rude on the phone
Worst Phone service ! Rude people
