I have been here on and off for the past few years and this past year and a half since I have been on my own, this is the only shop I use and trust. I have went to other shops in the past and felt that I was overpaying/over quoted. Craig and the team are amazing and hard working. Today I went in for just a routine oil change and while I was there one of the mechanics pulled me over and pointed out something he noticed on my car that was a huge safety concern and explained to me why it needed to be fixed and what could happen if I continued to drive my car with it unfixed. Everyone there is so extremely knowledgeable and they always go above and beyond to make sure my car is safe to drive and reliable. In the past, when I have brought my car there for issues that needed to be fixed, they gave me many solutions and were super honest with me about what needed to be fixed ASAP and what could potentially hold off on til the next paycheck. They even offer loaner cars as well if I need it for a few hours, or even a few days. Hands down this has been the best shop I’ve been too and I always know I am being taken care of!

Their really easy to talk to, and the have showed lotta respects to the car owners. they’ll put your budge on the first place then helping you solve whatever the problem you’re having with your cars or trucks. I’m always bringing my trucks their for some casual maintenances. They’re good not gonna lie.

Rick and staff are the best! I came in last Saturday to upgrade the exhaust on my 2018 Ram pickup truck with something a little more efficient. Now my truck purrs like a kitten. Craig and his team were very helpful with an off brand warranty part. They fully diagnosed the issue and followed thru on the warranty claim - even though it was a manufacturer they didn’t regularly deal with. The install was difficult due to my particular vehicle model. They completely handled the warranty even though they might not get complete compensation for the labor effort. Original car dealer would not handle it.

Mr. Craig was very professional and took time to explain things, and his experiences working as a mechanic/tech. He saw me on short notice and got my new Evap valve installed and thanks to that I was able to pass my emissions test. Worked with me on price, and very friendly.

It took them three days to install a brake light and turn signal bulb. They did not contact me to tell me the estimated cost before doing the work. The connected the brake light incorrectly and refused to correct it at their expense. They test drove my vehicle, without my knowledge or permission for two hours merely to test my brake light and turn signal. After waiting two hours to hear the results of this unnecessary test drive, I called and the receptionist told me that he wasn’t back yet because he had to stop and pick some parts for another vehicle but she will call as soon as he returned. Worst of it all - they charged me $270 to install a brake light and I provide the parts. This business is a scam and cannot be trusted. DO NOT USED THIS BUSINESS. Craig, the manager is not an honest business man. I will be notifying the BBB about the deceitful and devious business practices of this business

Accel did a great job as always on our 2004 Kia Sedona van. The mechanics are friendly and so is Craig and his wife. Awesome work and you have a loyal customer for life.

My work truck was being rejected by emissions due to a new battery. I made an appointment for Thursday, and was able to drop off Tuesday night in their key drop. Owner called me next day, and already fixed my emissions issue. He did notice a couple other repairs to be corrected. They completed the work within a day. Very professional and quick to serve! Would highly recommended!

My car failed the emission test and I took it to AACEL because they specialized in passing emissions. I wasn’t initially sure until I checked out their reviews and felt more comfortable. I am so glad I brought my car here!! Craig was awesome and kept me in the loop the entire time while working on my car. My 2011 Hyundai has 190 K miles and I wasn’t sure if it would be able to be fixed. We discussed what my goal for this car is since I haven’t had any major problems and I wasn’t interested in a new car payment. Craig found a couple minor issues and called me right away with what was needed and quotes for the issues. I picked the car up today and it sounds better than it has in years and rides perfectly!! I will be back for regular maintenance or any other issues Craig has won my business! Job well done by Craig and his team.

Went in with a generic code for my check engine light. Instead of checking the basic usual problems ran a 136.00 smoke test? 338.00 later my problem was fixed.

I had initially been nervous about coming here because I thought the cost would be high but it’s honestly reasonable and they’re partnered with a loan service to help you pay the bill which is really helpful. BEWARE..STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They had my car from February through September, trying to install a Engine which they still FAILED AT.. They are very unprofessional, lacks communication skills and has non trained employees. The owner CRAIG, screams and hollers at the customers because of his negligence. I could go on and on about this place. They are only able to repair small issues ANY major issues with your car, they CANNOT FIX. They call themselves doing a transmission flush, which they NEVER refilled the the fluid and damaged my transmission while they were attempting to install a Engine. They installed one Engine and didn’t connect the hoses correctly which cause the coolant to leak where the Engine overheated and damaged the Engine to where another Engine had to be ordered. Worst auto repair place I’ve ever dealt with.

Like possibly a few other people on here, I decided to give them a shot. Especially since they have a VERY convenient location right across from emissions testing. I scheduled an estimate to have my Acuras a/c refilled after my condenser was replaced due to a leak. Seemed like a simple job for them to take care of, even though the price was already a little off putting for me I decided to have them do it anyways. Please note that my a/c system was fully working before my appointment with them, apart from the leaky condenser I replaced beforehand. $162.00 later my refrigerant was refilled and so I thought my a/c was back up and running for good. I drove the car home with no issues, until the next day... Maybe half an hour into my trip and the a/c starts blowing warm air. I call them up and bring the car back in the following work week. The techs looked it over and there was no leak coming out of the system, but by some force of black magic my a/c compressor decided to stop working. How convenient that it broke down right as it was sitting in the shop... I was charged another $62.00 for a diagnostic fee during my second visit and I was made aware that now that I went from a simple a/c refill to a full a/c system replacement for $1,600+. Included was the compressor, drier, and an expansion valve brand new. I spoke with the owner of the place over the phone and he offered me a cheaper option to source the same parts from the junkyard for if I remember correctly around $900. We were able to negotiate the price down to $639.00, and I said screw it, just get it done. After pondering the decision of having junk parts put in for that amount of money I decided to cancel on them a few hours later over the phone. I picked my car back up the same day with my now broken, whining, and rattling a/c compressor. Long story short I decided to bite the bullet and take my car to an old shop I used to have my cars serviced when I lived back in Chicago. For a brand new a/c compressor, and a refill I was charged $499.00! An astronomical difference between the $1,600 offer I was presented with at your shop! I tried to save a few bucks on gas and convenience by not having to drive to the city, so I decided to make a generous donation of over $200 to AACCEL and drive off with an even bigger issue. Also on a side note to the owner, it would be nice to remind your techs to respect other peoples property and not smoke inside customers vehicles while theyre working on them. I understand this line of work is physically labor intensive but this screams unprofessional! The reason for the two stars is because the lady working the front counter (apologies I forgot her name) was very nice and respectful!

Great service! Receptionist very helpful and caring towards the customer. Even made me a great cup of coffee! Tech who worked on my vehicle was also very helpful in pointing out a flaw in my vehicle and seemed very honest and caring about the customer! If I could give 10stars I would! Great job guys!

Unbelievable.... I called for a quote on brake pads and they quoted me 4 to 5 hundred. I am currently here at the dealership and with parts and labor it’s $275. I called them out on their quote and their respond was we also change the rotors with the pads. They were unaware that I am familiar with cars and NO you do NOT change the rotors with the pads unless absolutely necessary, you actually could first sand them down to even them but most of the time you don’t even do that. The lady was really apologetic and tried really hard to excuse the crazy quote she/owner gave her but I would not go there as they seem they would not think twice about ripping you off.

Their labor rates are fair and he does not excessively mark up parts cost like other repair shops, while only using quality parts. My boyfriend and I have gone to AACCEL for everything: from oil changes to car repairs. We recently had to get a clutch replacement for our vehicle, and AACCEL was only a phone call away! The building was clean, the staff very friendly, and we were very grateful that when money was tight they worked with us on making the payments.They even provided us a loaner vehicle so the both of us could get to work while ours was being repaired. We are very happy with their service, we trust and will continue to trust Craig and his staff with our vehicle needs. :)

These people went above and beyond for me when I was there and in a pretty rough place. I came in with a check engine light (and had to get an emissions test) and urgently needed to get it fixed and on the road. Not only did they get me in immediately, they rushed parts in and prioritized work to get mine and all the other customers work completed. About half way through the process the owner came to me and said my tires were definitely not safe to be driving on... however they dont do tires. Without me even asking he immediately called the local tire places to see what they had in stock. Discount tires next door didnt have them but offered me loaner tires so I could get where I needed to be. Obviously I was worried about more time but the owner offered to take my current wheels over, get them switched for me and bring them back to his shop and put them on... for no charge. I made it to my destination safely and only a few hours late. It really was all thanks to the people here. The owner, girl at the front desk and mechanics were so kind. I will be back and I will pay it forward!

I brought my summer car to Aaccel with a problem with the clutch pedal. They completely misdiagnosed the bad self-adjusting clutch cable and insisted that the clutch itself was bad. I told Craig Leach (the owner) to replace the flywheel with the clutch because they were non-standard performance parts and I knew there would be fitment issues. He didnt listen and spent the entire summer alternating between taking apart my transmission to try to fix the chattering and shuddering and just sitting on it like a piece of furniture. If you arent there for an emissions repair, your job will be a very low priority, and youll want to expect excuses about not having enough time or people to get it done.TL,DR I spent over $1000 that I didnt need to and couldnt enjoy my summer car for most of the season.

Very friendly staff! Also very helpful. I went in for a connection problem i had in order to get my emissions done, i believe his name was Jeff, gave me a good price and was able to schedule me the next day at a time that was best for me. While he was working on another car he took the time to fix my problem. I was in there for maybe 20 min. Great service. They care about you and your cars safety, while he drove my car he noticed a noise and recommended that i come in for an inspection. I will definitely be coming back.

I took my blazer to 2 places for emission failures. I spent 1200.00 in repairs with no success. I didnt tell the owner this. I was referred by a neighbor so I dropped the blazer off after talking to the lady at the front desk. Which I was skeptical about cause I didnt want to spend money without any actual corrects and a mechanic not checking while I was present. The owner calls me in the morning super early with every possible issue and a price list on everything plus a list of what needs to be done verse what could be fixed. He broke everything down with no sales pitch which made the conversation very easy. I did ask what he advised and I did go with what he advised. Fortunately for me they were actually done with full emissions testing passed, new blades and wipers, full tune up and few extras before the end of the same day. I show up to pay the guy and he breaks everything down easy. Then to my suprise he actually knocked out another very small items on the list that made a huge difference at no cost. He said he was already there and the parts were pennies. The blazer runs amazing. I feel like the day I got it and I still have more to fix. I know where Im going. Give them a call I promise you if they do half of what they were able to do to my blazer youll leave happy

Best experience and people I have ever had and met. I was stranded on Saturday and driving by Tuesday. Of course, they offered me a loaner car in the meantime which was very convenient for me since I live over an hour away. They did their best to keep costs down. Using the membership card they offer saved me even more money and provided me even more services that needed to be completed. The owner and his employees were very concerned for my well-being and strived to meet my every need. I would recommend this place to anybody!

We took our vehicle to this repair shop because the engine light suddenly came on. It was a Saturday and most repair shops either require appointments on the weekends or tend to be very busy. I called and was told the diagnostic test was free and they would be able to look at it. I responded by clarifying that I had already gotten the code, but needed the exact problem diagnosed and repaired.My husband was at the repair shop for about 2.5 hours waiting for the free diagnostic test that ended up costing $130. Once the technicians were done with the diagnostic test, my husband received two estimates; one for $1489.71 and another for $1152.71. Both estimates detailed parts to replace that could fix the issue and some basic maintenance suggestions.My husband and I decided to get a second opinion. We left our vehicle at another local repair shop on Monday morning. They ran some test and almost immediately found out what was caused the engine light to come on and for only a fraction of the cost. Ironically, none of the things we were told to replace by AACCEL Emissions & Auto Repair caused the problem. I called AACCEL Emissions & Auto Repair Monday afternoon to express my dissatisfaction with their services. After a lengthy conversation, my husband received a call back from AACCEL Emissions & Auto Repair. We were asked to bring our vehicle back in so they could perform a test on our gas. By the way, that was the problem....bad gas!I returned the call to ask if we would be compensated for the inconvenience of returning our vehicle to simply satisfy their curiosity about their misdiagnosis. I was told y the receptionist I would have to speak to the manager. I told her that would not be necessary, because I was never returning. I did not have more time or money to waste. She continued to insist I return. When I refused, she became very rude and unprofessional. She began to tell me what I needed to do with my vehicle and how I was not suppose to use E85 in my car because it is not flex fuel vehicle when in fact it is. My guess is the mechanics never noticed either.AACCEL Emissions & Auto Repair suggests unnecessary repairs and charge ridiculous prices!

I needed some repairs done to pass emissions and Craigs quote was less than half of what another mechanic gave me. They did the work within a couple days and he even drove it through the emissions test center afterwards so I didnt have to. Great service.

My daughters first car care experience with Craig and his team at AACCEL was a wonderful surprise. The estimate on her car was 3000. Needless to say as a young single mother, this was a bit overwhelming for her. Craig offered her a FREE rental car while her car was being looked at as well as during the repair process. Craig took extra time to explain to her what she needed to do to properly maintain her car. We would recommend AACCEL to anyone but especially women who fear being taken advantage of from repair shops. They went out of their way to explain everything very thoroughly to us before and after her repairs.

I had to go back three times for my Chevy Uplander but everytime they were prompt and courteous. Marissa at the front was a darling and even during the weekends, Cindy was great.

I was broke down 4 hours from home, but Craig and his employees took care of me and got me back on the road ASAP. Its been a few weeks and my vehicle is still running great. Had a very good experience with this business. Took my sons truck because it was not passing emissions. They got it to pass, but also found out the truck had a major defect and was unsafe to drive. The owner even called the maker and found out there was a recall that we were unaware of. We were shown exactly what was wrong. Im glad they got it to pass emissions, but I am even more grateful that they found the defect, otherwise my son would continue driving in a dangerous vehicle. I made an appointment to drop my car off onThursday to be looked at Friday for an evap leak. By Monday at 4 it still had not been done. Then I get yelled at because they are busy. Every call I made to check my vehicle I was told they were busy and hasn’t got to it. I gave up by Monday at noon and told them i was picking it up. $140 and the car is still not fixed. Beware before you “make an appointment.” I have no trust in this place.

These guys are WICKED AWESOME! I have a 2004 Ford Mustang that was having problems. Ran rough, got really bad gas mileage, was very anemic, and this was AFTER I did a tune up. Failed emissions test and I was at the end of my patience . Took it to AACCEL and they were able to figure out that one of the new spark plugs that I installed was defective. They even gave me a free loaner car to use while they worked on my car. The owner, Craig, and the rest of the staff were all polite and courteous. I will bring my car back in the future.

I recently had my old car fixed here because it was overheating, and after dropping it off to AACCEL, they determined the problem, and gave me a quote that was $200 under a quote from a different company. So I used them! And now my car works!The people who work there are really nice. The receptionist even offered to drive me home after I dropped my car off so I wouldnt have to walk in the heat (I only live a mile away). And Craig (the owner?) explained in detail what he did to fix my car and even showed me how crummy the parts he replaced in my car had gotten.I dont know much about cars, but when consulting the people in my life who do know something about them, they seemed to agree that I didnt get ripped off or anything by the work done at AACCELL.My only small complaint, and it is very very small, is that they took a couple of extra days more than anticipated to fix my car... BUT they gave me a FREE loaner car to drive around until it was ready, so it wasnt reaaaaalllly a big deal.I had a good enough experience here that theyll be my mechanic next time I have a problem!

Ive been bringing my car here for around ten years and trusted Craig and his team with five different vehicles over the years between my wife and I. Always received great service and never pressured to sign on for any work we werent ready to do. Their loaner car was a nice touch when my wifes car broke down on a Monday morning and she was still able to make it into work after the tow.

I came here after failing an emissions test. They were very kind and told me exactly what I needed done to pass the test. They were really quick about it and the truck passed soon after. I also came in for an oil change and they got me in right away. They are really friendly and care about their customers. I definitely recommend this place.

Update of previous review. After being told for 4 days they didnt have time to work on my car, the day I picked it up they reportedly could not find the emissions leak. I took the car to a Chevy Dealer and the leak was found immediately. In my opinon they did not bother to find the leak but charged me as if they did. If I could give this place zero stars I would.

Staff are courteous and knowledgeable, no BS work and service is excellent no questions left unanswered taking vehicle back for more work and would recommend to everyone. Just because it is across from the AirTeam testing facility does not mean they take advantage of your situation they will work with you and get your vehicle straightened out without any price gouging dont discount because its right there Craig, Merrissa and Cindy, top notch.
