We have loved working with Adoption Authority for our home study and as we wait to be matched with a birth mom. They really care about the best interest of the birth mom and the adoptive families alike. They have spent many hours answering so many of my questions throughout this process. It is uplifting to work with individuals who sincerely care about everyone involved in the adoption process - birth parents, adoptive parents, and of course the precious children. Their compassion and dedication are unparalleled!

The compassion and support they show their birth mothers is astounding. They truly care for all involved in the adoption process.

We are grateful for the integrity, hard work, and care of the women at Adoption Authority. It was very important to us to find an agency that was ethical and was focused on the needs of the expectant/birth mothers. We appreciated the care our daughters birth mom received before, during and after her birth. We have also participated in workshops offered by Adoption Authority on transracial adoption and other adoption topics that were free and very helpful.

I would not recommend even contacting this agency. Their lack of professionalism is appearant in the brief interactions I have had with them in regards to the adoption process. Upon inquiring how funds would be spent and why some documents are required. I was instantly rejected. Their lack of detail orientation extends to miss spelling names and email address and might be antisemitic due to my last name. This is the only reason why you could be denied so fast.

We have worked Adoption Authority several times in the past couple of years. As an adoption agency in Virginia, we are comforted in knowing their placing agency is supportive and kind to our adoptive families. Most importantly, we are impressed with their level of involvement and emotional support to their expectant parents and birth parents. We are reassured by their ethical practices and facilitating a positive relationship between adoptive families and birth families. They truly want the best for their clients!

As a birth mom you can imagine the fear and uncertainty with choosing any organization. Not only did I want to make sure my child went to a good home after birth but also that I received the best assistance during my pregnancy to achieve that goal. I found this wonderful agency through a friend of mine who was also a birth mom. Despite her many informative positive opinions, I wanted to form my own opinions so I did some research prior to reaching out to Adoption Authority. In an effort to learn more I decided to give the agency a call. That single phone call with a representative restored my faith and confidence in getting through this situation and solidified my choice in the organization. From there I consulted with a case manager and the Director to establish the best course of action tailored to my needs. They not only provide assistance finding hospitals and other resources, they also accompanied me to appointments and meetings at my request. Personally having someone there through this entire process was more comforting than I think they even realize. My case manager made herself available 24/7 both by telephone and in person when I needed it. Ultimately I was able to find my child a safe, secure home through this agency. Without them this process would have been a lot more lonely, stressful, and potentially heart-breaking. I can truly reflect on my experience with this agency as a good one and I would recommend them to other mothers looking for adoption assistance!

This review is months overdue! We wish we would have written this long ago. The Adoption Authority was an answer to our prayers. We sought Adoption Authority out for our second adoption placement. We have experience with two other agencies as well. Although we liked the other agencies we worked with, Adoption Authority was exceptional and professional upon our first impression. We were adamant that we wanted to work with an agency that cared first and foremost for the well being and the decisions of the birth mother/family. Making sure this was her/their decision. They also looked out for us, the adoptive family. We believe the Adoption Authoritys mission is beautiful and the women behind it are full of compassion. We saw Adoption Authority take care of the birth mother of our child, and kept her desires as their first priority, while at the same time guiding us through the entirety of the adoption process. We highly recommend the Adoption Authority to both birth mothers seeking options in adoption, and for prospective adoptive families. Our lives will forever be changed for the greater because of a loving birth mother who chose to gift us with the life of her child, and for the work of Adoption Authority that facilitated this adoption with professionalism and compassion.

I cannot say enough about what a great organization this is. The genuine love and support from the Adoption Authority toward the birth mothers/families they work with is exceptional and, particularly after placement, extremely unique.If you are a looking to expand your family through adoption, this is the organization you want to work with. We adopted our youngest child through the Adoption Authority and the experience was amazing. We ran into an issue during our adoption journey and the integrity that the Adoption Authority demonstrated in handling the situation speaks volumes to the ethics of this organization.

Our experience with The Adoption Authority was exceptional. This was our second adoption but the first with Adoption Authority and everyone involved was so caring and professional. They walked us through every step and definitely made sure that the lines of communication were always open. They always treated us and the birth mother with respect and compassion. I felt comfortable and supported by everyone I worked with at Adoption Authority. They never once judged me or my boyfriend about doing adoption for our child. Our baby is now six months old and we have pictures and videos sent to our phone all the time. We do facetime every other Sunday and really feel like family with the adoptive parents. We have already done 2 visits so far (more this summer) and we know that our daughter is safe and happy.

After spending time with the staff and director of Adoption Authority, it was evident that they provide top quality care towards their expecting mothers and families. I recently had a situation with an adoption placement need. Hilary immediately stepped in and provided much needed assistance. I work with many professionals in the adoption field and can easily say that working with her has been a phenomenal experience. She is sweet, kind, compassionate and has excellent follow through.

I cant believe another birth mom would leave such a negative review about these people. I cant speak on her situation but my own experience as a birth mom with Adoption Authority has been amazing. From the very beginning they been by my side trying to give me everything I need for me and the baby. Even though I have been hormonal and all over the place about everything, they have still been patient and comforting. Its only been a month but already they helped me find a really good doctor that I like and even helped me financially. My favorite thing about these women is that they arent just nice, theyre professional. They dont just tell you what you want to hear to get your child. Theyre actually honest to try and give you the best help they can every step of the way. I look forward to the rest of my journey with these angels!

We absolutely loved working with the Adoption Authority! After having previously worked with a number of different agencies, it was a pleasure to come across Hillary and Linda. There where a lot of gray areas and a lot of vital information that was not told or explained to me when I discussed what my plan was. I think that this company is good for someone who just dont want any relationship with there child because I kinda felt it was basically a hope I would just place my child and be done with it they kinda let me down and didnt follow through with anything I was looking for in a family or from the agency.

My experience with this agency was completely top notch! They are in it for the right reasons! They work hard! Truly leaving family events and functions to make sure birthmothers, babies, adoptive parents are all taken care of. In the adoption community you will find MANY professionals that are very comfortable taking your money, offering minimum personal care, and while they may have all of the right words or avoid answering all of the hard questions. The Adoption Authoritys transparency and care is nothing like I have ever seen. While adoption itself will always be a risk Hillary and her team do everything in their power to minimalize your financial risk, offering near a full refund if a change of heart prior to placement occurs, while dedicating their time to loving and supporting their expectant and birth mothers before, during, and after placemeant (and I am not talking about the 6 weeks stuff that other professionals talk about.) They are in the business of building families but with empathy, compassion, and love. They are what all adoptions should look like.

Linda is the sweetest person! She has such a good heart and really takes the time to show you she cares.
