Looking forward to doing business with Steve I called about a concern with my 2 stroke Johnson 130hp not only did he listen to me as a customer but he also made sure he returned my calls patience is key for good help now a days and definitely worth it in the end very professional individuals here Steve has my business for sure anyone that is willing to go out of there way to return to a client usually cares deeply about what they do I will update this review when they get my outboard motor purring again πŸ˜ƒ Steve went above and beyond with working on my 19ft Bayliner he made sure I knew about anything he considered alarming or a potential problem very pleased with the service he kept me updated as he went along and was very thorough on explaining what was needed

I took my older 2 stroke engine in because it ran rough and would not idle. They did such a great job that it runs like new! It has never ran this well, ever. Thanks for a job well done!

M & S has been a fixture on the Westside for years. Just had Steven install a trolling motor. He did a great job at a very fair price. He was knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend M & S Marine.

Worst customer service ever! He yelled at me for bringing my boat without calling! Then took off my troller motor and tried keeping it over 200 bucks he says I owe him. Don’t go here !

Just got off the phone with one of their employees Steven. Had some question last about how long a job would take because I was having a shade tree mechanic fix my boat. Steven was honest about timing and very helpful. Will definitely do business with them in the near future.

Mr Maurice and his son Steven are about as nice of people you will EVER meet. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. Writing this review is an honor and happy to inform you as a boat owner that you can look no further for the best in the business! The customer service I recieved from them was second to NONE!! They are not only very knowledgeable, but are willing to take the time to make sure you as a boater are 100% informed and satisfied. If this boat repair thing ever didnt work out for them they could teach a customer service training class for a living and teach other businesses how to treat the customer. I brought them my very first vessel that I just purchased...an old beat up 14ft jon boat with more problems than our corrupt government (Drain the swamp Mr President!!) Needles to say Maurice and Steven took care of me and got her up and running. Now me and the boys are planning our maiden voyage tomorrow morning. Not sure whos more excited, Daddy or my 4 and 7 year old boys. Dont waste your time with anyone else. Seriously. Youve tried the rest, now try the best! See you on the water!

Steven and his dad are 100% the real deal! In 2015 finding someone to work on your new outboard is a cinch take it to any ole mechanic and they plug it into a laptop and yahtzee! it spits out what the problem with motor is and the mech does the repair replacing the part more than likely.Well not so much the case with my 51 year old 64Johnson seahorse 5.5. Called 3 shops that wanted no part of figuring out why my little johnnyrude would not go into full throttle as it has no USB port....real excuse given by one of the mechs! finally I found M&S Marine!! on the phone Steven was not only willing to work on motor he was very excited to have the chance!!! now to back up a bit I had already almost completely rebuilt this motor myself as a project from top to bottom I through parts at this motor trying to get it to open up at full throttle with no success. and after some frustration took it in to M&S. Steven hooked it up into there test tank and without even opening the carb for inspection diagnosed it as a drilled or altered high speed jet that was causing a flooding issue and not letting motor run at top speed. even with the very reasonable repair quote from Steven my wife and I are expecting a new baby and could not afford for Steven to do the repair and paid the diagnose fee and took the motor home and made the repair myself. ordered and installed part that Steven had fingered as the culprit and guess what.....DONE DEAL! Shes purring like a kitten and running at all speeds like brand new. I WILL NEVER USE ANYONE BESIDES M&S PERIOD! and so should you. they are REAL MECHANICS not computer programmers! a real rarity now a days.Jay CarterJacksonville Fl.1964 Johnson seahorse 5.5hp
