Richard ran a shop in Boston for decades and offers very reasonable repair prices, good quality oils and supplies, and all the common instructional books. His store is a small business competing well with ever increasing cheap online sales. Support him if you can as Amazon will not be able to fix your trumpet if he disappears! Jacksonville is lucky to have Rhapsody!

I went in search of a music book and was so pleased that they had exactly what needed and are a great resource for many music books. Try finding Accent on Achievement books in Jacksonville book and music stores...next to impossible But these guys have a full library of so many instructional books.Not only did they meet my needs for the book, the owner assisted my kid in learning how to blow into the flute.I highly recommend this family owned business. They are low overhead but high service.I rate them a 10 out of 10.

This is the only place I go to get my sax fixed. Wonderful repairs, quick turnarounds, low costs, and one heck of a nice guy! He really knows what hes doing.

I took my flute to multiple stores in Georgia (where I live) and they either said that it would take over a month to fix or would return it to me not fixed at all. I finally drove down to Rhapsody and the guy was very kind and completely fixed my flute in a week for only $42. I absolutely recommend this place for any instrument repairs.

Richard is the most skilled brass repair technician in the Jacksonville area. Ive sent horns to him that had a bell that looked like a crumpled Pepsi can that he made look almost brand new. Hes really brilliant at dent removal needless to say and has decades of experience. If you want your horn fixed right the first time for a reasonable price, go see Richard at Rhapsody!

I took my step daughters trumpet to be repaired there are they werent very direct on giving me a quote for the repairs. I ended up driving further to Music and Arts and they were very helpful and direct with their pricing. Not a big fan of this place but its ok if you need something in a pinch.

Absolutely best place to have horns, woodwinds and flutes repaired or serviced. The owner is truly friendly and professional and has always provided expert, timely service at a very fair price. I have had my flute, cornet, clarinet and sax serviced here and will not go anywhere else.

He repaired my trumpet acceptably, but he under-estimated $10 short of double the price I paid. Less than two weeks later, an Issue similar to the one I had repaired manifested due to allignment issues. If you need a mouthpiece removed, though, hell do that!

I went in looking for a practice mute for my violin; the kind man inside explained that he was no longer in the string business, but hed check and see what he had. He was so kind and helpful, I wish I played an instrument he did service just so I could give him more of my business. He did manage to find one in the deep recesses of his cabinet and gave an unreasonably (for him) fair price for it. If his service towards me is anything like his service towards his other customers (which I have no doubt it is), this is definitely the place to go for your instrumental needs (as long as theyre not string based lol)

Very overpriced. When I went in there to buy a Hercules Saxophone stand, the price was $62.99. I ended up buying and realized later that it was cheaper online for an average of $45. I went back to try and return it but he refused to refund my money. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. HE IS TRYING TO RIP YOU OFF, DO NOT BUY HERE. You are better off shopping for it online.

I called to inquire about the price of cleaning a trombone and did not have a pleasant experience. When I expressed sticker shock at the price, the owner, Mr. Robert became defensive and rude. I have not had to have an instrument cleaned and was unaware of the cost. I called around to other businesses and received a little better pricing and a much better attitude.
