IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS: Literally the most despicable customer service Ive ever experience in my life. These people were being prejudice towards both myself and my employee. The person who answered the phone was curt and rude for absolutely no reason other than he felt like it...DONT support businesses like this that dont respect or even listen to what you have to say. Just take your money and run basically. His response below is enough. First off, the person was WITH me as I am their employer and had already advised that she was being treated differently than everyone else in the room who did not look like her. Then I called to confirm this and learned that she was absolutely right. Im not going to stop until we are treated the same way that everyone else was KINDLY! He was the most disgusting person Ive ever met. This place needs to be shut down or something.

I truly appreciate the customer service of Goin Postal. They were patient and kind and even called DHL for me while I was on the phone to figure out where my pre-paid package was and when I should expect it. They really helped calm my nervous as I am waiting for an urgent package that is out of my control. I would recommend them to assist you with your mailing needs.

I used to love to be able to ship out my stuff from here, but seems that perhaps some things have changed as far as who they will ship out for or what. I tried to ship out an Item for Two day Shipping from Poshmark and I was told that they no longer do that and that I would have to go directly to USPS from now on.It might be helpful to just call them first just to double check on what is allowed now.

Love coming here to have my packages shipped. I even love to stop and greet the pup! So friendly. I’m dismayed to see the negative reviews and it’s sad that people can’t see their interactions through the eyes of the owners and guess what - some days are just bad and they’re only human. I have always had a pleasant experience and will gladly pay to mail my packages because it’s convenient and I I don’t have time to drive down to the post office and stand in line. I got my fingerprint back in may, I recently applied for my state exam and was having issues locating my fingerprint information, but joe came to the rescue and after doing some searching my issue was resolved ! 10/10

This is the ONLY place Ill go for my mailing services! The staff is always INCREDIBLY friendly, knowledgeable, quick and down right sweet! The first time I visited, I was greeted by who I believe is the wife of the owner. She was so kind, and sat with my two daughters, playing with them as if they were her own grandchildren. The cutest little Doodle is always there to greet you with her happy, wagging tail!Aside from supporting a small business, which I feel is always necessary, the staff really make you feel at home. I have mailed, faxed, and recieved packages, as well as other services, and the prices are better than any in Jax!Any time I have been in a bind, they have helped me in every possible way, and have always successfully solved my issues. I feel my information is secure with Goin Postal and there are never any lines due to their fast service!10/10, I CANNOT recommend this business more! I’ve used Goin’ Postal approximately 5 times in the past 18 months (twice for UPS, twice for FedEx, and today, I mailed a letter without specifying the shipper for the first time) and I’ve always been greeted by a friendly representative and taken care of quickly.You seriously can’t beat the convenience of this place. It is such a smart idea to have a centralized location where you can ship with all of the major shipping companies with no extra hassle.They also always answer my questions without making me feel dumb and are more than happy to help quickly and efficiently.Please go and support this small business because I can’t imagine the headache of having to go back to driving to individual shipping companies’ various locations, waiting in their ridiculous lines, and trying to remember their individual shipping polices.Goin’ Postal takes care of it ALL for you and I’m so glad to have found them!

I am new to the area and have visited the store a few times. Upon entry, I was greeted by polite employees and a loveable fury friend. Each visit, I got in and out quickly.

No one wore a mask. Not even the gentleman taking my fingerprints. I felt very unsafe. This place needs to do a better job and show their customers that they care about their health and safety. At least offer some hand sanitizer.Response to your comment:Sir, there’s no point trying to lie to the world. The truth is, you wore the mask below your mouth on your chin. It is not a fashion statement. Wear the mask, cover your mouth.

I needed several sets of fingerprints and passport photos done at the last minute. Greg was so friendly and helpful, he had everything done and shipped out so quick. Definitely recommend!!!

They called and left me a message when I tried to return there call. Here what happened I have very bad reception at my home as I live in the country. Before I can say this. Im told im sorry I cant hear you call back and Im hung up on. So I call back this time I dont even get a hello just a hang up. I would say thats about the worst customer service ever. If your trying to get or keep customers you might try to at least give them a minute. Or not just keep hanging up. Im pretty sure it would piss anyone off.Thanks for helping whoever the nice woman was who hung up on me.I dont recommend this store at all.I am currently being harassed by this Company for posting this review

Absolutely disgusted with this money hungering place. I went in to drop off a variety of USPS, FedEx & UPS packages. The rude woman at the counter (11/20, 1pm) denied my USPS packages because some of them had pre-paid labels and she doesn’t make any money of them. I’ll never be back.

Team there was super helpful! Even walked me through making sure all my labels where good to go for returns I brought to them. Great, quick, accurate and professional!

Employees are super friendly and you can really get a small business feel seeing them interact with customers and each other, but I had a less than pleasant experience when my item was packaged before receiving a shipping quote (which turned out to be $55, not their fault of course) but since they packaged my item before I could decline the service, I was charged $10 for a cardboard box because they couldnt reuse it, so I showed up to lose money. Made sending my moms Christmas present a sad experience and now I must change it.

Nice looking place, and convenient location. Premium markup on shipping, tho. Same exact package was 100% more to ship with them then the actual post office. Since I had time to drive, I took my business directly to the USPS on Beach.

Customer service needs to be improved, especially when your speaking with potential new clients. You dont hang up on customers because youre busy. After being hung up on twice it is deduced they are unable to fingerprint you for official documents and do not hold standing for federal or legal documents. It was stated from the customer service person I spoke with she was the owner .

Terrible experience in back to back weeks. My family have lived in Point Meadows Place next to Ikea since they were first built in 2005. I have not had one positive experience at this local postal shop. Just last week I went to ship a package and was told they could print the labels as long as it’s pdf and emailed to them. It wasn’t until we were taping my box up when I was told I have to pay $6 to print two labels I’ve already purchased. Today I returned to attempt to ship envelopes off that were already paid and printed. Now, they can’t ship them off unless I either pay them $3 a pdf to have them printed by them or purchase a new label and was told to simply go to my USPS. Working in retail professionally for 6+ years, 2 of which are in management, it is simple to see they do not care about customer service. If you live in the area I recommend Snap 2 Ship on Baymeadows by Metro Diner. I’ve dropped off over 50 already packed and labeled items that they ship off no questions no problems every time. It’s called customer service not how can I milk $3 to print a piece of paper. Oh and at Snap2Ship they don’t have a dog laying out in the middle of the floor running and jumping at you at the door lol.

It’s good to have a place like this in the neighborhoodThey are very considerate towards their customers and even hired someone to guard their only parking spot in the plaza. They will chase anyone who parks in their designated customer parking, make sure the parking spot is always free for their customers who may have big packages to drop. They employ a very sweet, gentle, polite lady who speaks such chaste English, talking to her for a few minutes makes you feel happy to be part of this neighborhood.I wish every business owner guarded their parking spot for their patrons, what’s the use of being loyal to a business if you can’t park in frontUse this business just for their designated parking

What an amazing experience at Goin Postal Jacksonville! I recently purchased an item from Amazon and when i went to return it, I was advised I had to go to the UPS store given the way Amazon directed me to return the item. I didnt have time to go to the UPS store (plus i would rather do business with a local company), so Greg walked me through how to cancel the request, and resubmit so he could process the return right there on the spot.This is another shining example of stellar customer service from a small business! Very rude customer service. We were trying to take our passport photos and politely asked if we can see the photos before he printed it. He said no to us taking a quick peek at the camera. The picture came out blurry and we asked if we can retake it. He claimed to have run it through a system (whatever that means) and has to charge us again to retake it. Also made a point that he has never had a passport photo returned and if ours get returned then he will take it again. If the system approved our photo, then why would it get returned? I explained that we don’t want to risk a return since we have an international trip coming up and his response is to buy expedited shipping which would have costed us $60. One lady who have helped us on a previous visit was very nice but after this visit, we will not be going back.Reply to owner: Thank you for assuming it was a model session. I am flattered. The government has many rules when it comes to passport photos, and we wanted to check the details. We are paying $13 per photo and you took a single photo very quickly. There was no way for us know if you took it correctly. The one photo you gave us was blurry enough that it could have been sent back. You were not helping three other people at the time I asked if we can check the photo, because we were the only ones in the store. You just did not want to take time to help us.

I went to get fingerprints done after speaking with the male owner on the phone a few days prior. For the most part, my experience was pleasant. I know the reviews said that the owners are mean but they really are actually nice. I think they aren’t “southerners “ and maybe that rubs people the wrong way. I was greeted at the door by their dog Finley who took a liking to me. She was cute. I was able to get my prints done and shipped out the same day.

If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I went in to have finger printing done. Their website wasnt working so although I was able to make an appointment, I couldnt confirm it in my email. I figured I would just go down there. The polite young man informed me that their technician wasnt in. Ok, no problem but as I tried to let him know that their website was malfunctioning (I thought they would like to know) a woman approached and started screaming WHO SENT YOU, WHO SENT YOU, WHO SENT YOU!? and then CHECK YOUR SPAM FOLDER!!! without a clue what I was talking about. I could not get a word out after that, she over talked everything I had to say and had me incredibly red faced. I am glad I was unable to make an appointment. There is no way I would EVER give that woman any of my hard earned $. In addition, as I read the reviews left by others it is of my opinion that the owner does not take criticism well.In reply to the owners response below, I do not feel that I was causing a scene. I was trying to explain that your website had a glitch and I was doing so in a calm manner. As a business owner, I would like to know if my website was malfunctioning and possibly interfering with my business. Also, if you view the photo... it appears I did have an appointment set with you. A few of them in fact. I wasnt even speaking with the screaming woman to begin with. I was the one being screamed at, rude to, and short with. Like I said before it is of my opinion that if this owner receives a poor review they seem to be at the fault of the customer and not because their actions are nasty! Own your actions and do better. Humble yourselves!

Great customer service! Probably the best of any store like that Ive been in to date. I had about 7-8 items that I needed wrapped up and shipped out and they handled everything very well. I went to mail and fax. It came out to $5 for 3 pages and the letter. They didnt accept cards for the letter alone which was a $1.20. Mind you at the post office its .50. I declined service but remained to finish filling out my form that I want to fax. There was an older lady with short hair and glasses. She says to me I need to move my car because customers need it. I said okay and continued to finish the form. She says it again to me that customers need the spot. I then explained I came in to be a customer and I left. I sat in my car and began pulling up my GPS and got a call while sitting there. This woman came out twice yelling and berating me. She took a picture of my license plate and everything. It was very sad and I will never come here again. I realized I did have cash when I got into the car, but I refuse to give them a dime. Id like to find out who the owner is. Ive never had such nasty treatment!!!!

I stopped in this morning to drop a birthday card in the mail....but didn’t have any cash to pay the minimal postage fee, and was going to pay with my credit card. The man at the counter said “don’t worry about it”. I know it’s not like it was a lot of money I was going to spend, but I’m grateful for the kindness and generosity that was shown. It was a great way to start off my Monday and I’ll be sure to go back because of the customer service and kindness.

Its not always that your local postal store is also the best one in town. Always friendly and incredibly helpful - makes sure I get exactly what I need, from local to international shipping (and all at great prices). Ive been in and out in seconds to minutes every time - never the half hour wait you always get from the Post Office! Even if it wasnt the most conveniently located post office around (which it is), Id go out of my way for the speed and service I get here.

I have had mixed experiences here. Sometimes I get friendly service and other times experience a cold and rude demeanor from them. When I get the latter it makes me want to never go there again. The first few times I could attribute this to a bad day, but after multiple times experiencing this I will be taking my business elsewhere. I would suggest you do the same and save yourself from the poor experiences Ive had here.Update: Just read the owners responses to honest customer reviews. Ths owner says Thank you for your kind words to all positive reviews and responds in an unprofessional and hostile why to negative reviews. The owner is extremely childish and unprofessional. The workers Are very professional and attentive to my needs. They accommodated me although they were getting ready to close for the night. I didn’t have exact change for 1 stamp and the owner allowed me to mail my letter anyway.

Jody and Greg are great! I love the service they provide letting me know when my packages arrive. From the day they became the new owners , they made it a point to learn my name and greet me by it. They are a great duo and I prefer going there for all my postal needs instead of the post office. And Finlay, the store greeter is a great addition!

I was in this post office for about 15 minutes and just watching the couple working there was fun to see. They knew just about everyone who came in and if not they took the time to greet them by name and were so courteous to all. I drove all the way here from Georgia to have fingerprints done and they had me in and out so quickly and made the process so easy. I would definitely use their services again if I were in the area.

Wow. First time walking in this place. I asked about how their services worked and how the fees were different from the post office. The woman working there was extremely short with me and rude. She told me she didn’t understand what I was asking. So I calmly explained I’d never been in there before so I was trying to understand what services they offered since they show multiple shipping names. She then told me very rudely they’re a PRIVATELY owned company so OF COURSE they cost more. I think she thought I was much younger than I am and felt a pass to be rude to me. I definitely won’t be going here again.

Just shipped out 2 packages to SC. I had no box, and when I called.. they said just bring it in, they will pack and ship. Cost was WAY CHEAPER than I expected. Its a family owned business... they have great rates. I will be using this as my shipping store for sure! Thank you!

Sad to say that last time I visited I did not had a very pleasant experience. I usually buy my overpriced stamps ($14 for the forever stamps originally $10) here to support their business and also drop occasionally prepaid packages. Agree with other reviewers that owner has a grumpy face all the time, his wife is more of a people friendly. As I came thru the door with boxes the owner just looked at me struggling with the door and boxes, while I am in my third trimester of pregnancy. I loaded the boxes two by two, and had 8 large USPS boxes. The owner called my attention for bringing too much packages and told me that if I was running a business to go directly to the post office. This post office is convenient because is close for me, as well I am pregnant and I prefer not to drive farther from home, aside that I dont mind to pay the $4- extra on the forever letter stamps. But after this experience, I am not visiting it anymore and certainly will take the owners recommendation to take my business elsewhere.
