I only had one day to correct the issues on my my bridesmaid dress before leaving to Boston for my cousins wedding. These ladies were unbelievably helpful!!! Made me feel great about myself and were able to alter the dress in less than 24 hours and did not charge any rush fees!! I’ve never received such good service in my life and I would recommend them to anybody.

Such incredible service, both ladies were sweet beyond compare. After the alterations to my dress they both cheered and made me feel absolutely incredible about myself. not to mention the prices, more than reasonable!!!

Such a sweet family business! The owner and her daughter are so kind and make magic happen with their alterations! I was on a time crunch with last minute alterations for my wedding and they made it work with the end result still looking INCREDIBLE! I’ve now had them alter my daughters dress, myFiancé’s suit and a bridesmaid dress. Really impressed with their work and will definitely come back for any future alterations needed!

Had my dress pants altered recently and because of corona, I wasnt feeling safe to bring it anywhere. The owner is so kind and responsive to your needs and made me feel safe. These pants fit me so well, Ill be bringing couple others soon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I was pressed for time as another alteration place messed up my suit. I was referred to San Jose Alterations by a close friend who had some of his suits altered and tailored previously by them. Not knowing what to expect and I feeling really discouraged because of the mess the other alteration company did along with only having 2 days until the event. The nice Asian lady kept telling me no problem, don’t worry, it’s gonna be ok but I still had doubts but thought what else do I have to lose at this point. Listening to my friend who highly recommended this place was the absolute best choice I made. I was so impressed that I literally gave her a huge hug and tried to give her a $50 tip but she kept saying too much lol. I left it there anyways when she was helping somebody else and wasn’t looking. This lady saved my day and she was extremely reasonable on her prices. The way she made this suit fit on me was tailored made PERFECT! I never ever write reviews must what she did was truly amazing and felt that I had to share this with other people. If u need anything done regarding clothes this IS the place to go!!! Wish I remembered her name but I believe it was Mrs. Kim or something like that. Thanks Mrs Kim aka San Jose Alterations!!!! My suit sleeves were too long so I came here to fix them up. The owner did an amazing job, it fits me perfectly! I had to get it fixed for my best friends wedding and thankfully, she altered them before the big day!

Highly recommend!! Recently bought a suit but the waist was way too big so I came to get it fixed. The owner tapered the waist so well!! I’m so happy with how it came out, will definitely keep coming here!

Not recommended for mens suits! Dropped off a jacket for sleeve shortening. $35 later I ended up with two crooked sleeves, crooked buttons, lost decorative button holes and lining that looks like a puffy shirt. No wonder the lady wanted to rush me out of the store without checking the finished product. View the before/after photos and judge for yourself. And the place smells like cat if you like that sort of scent around your new clothing.

Have gotten over 30 items altered..... shirts, pants, inseams etc. Have even taken some large shirts and altered to medium to fit me. They do a perfect job..So pleasant to work with... the only place I will go.. Because I can depend on attention to detail and great work..... Ive tried the cheap route before and Ive gotten some clothes ruined and Ive gotten back clothes that do not fit. My clothes are too special to waste my money on poor quality work. Thats why I only go here.

Wanted two pairs of jeans taken in at the bottom and they did an excellent job, can not tell any work was done, they just fit perfectly now. I was a little worried when first going since there was a bit of a communication issue and I couldnt understand what she was saying but she did everything perfectly so Im happy and will be going back again.
