I was amazed from the very first week my account manager,Kristin Deeken, was assigned, she worked so quickly and was thoroughly organized. I could look at my client dashboard and see all the various documents added and arranged. She kept emails, notes, phone calls, and everything related to the credentialing process with the payer sources, and uploaded each into their respective folders. At any point in time I am able to log on and look through each of the folders and see just exactly where in the credentialing process each item is, and what task I might need to resolve to help her complete her job. Just amazing. Professional, expedient, thorough, and knows the process like the back of her hand. WOW.

Rachel is our is always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. When we encountered issues early on, Rachel proactively set up a meeting to make sure we were on the same page and the problems could be addressed.

I suppose apologies are in order. It appears that I somehow overlooked emails sent to be by the owner. Although I routinely check all my inboxes and never saw these particular emails, they appeared today. This company did in fact reach out to me in a timely manner back in April and apologize. Rachel Harakal was my account manager for initial contracting and credentialing with 9 insurance companies including Medicaid and Medicare. Medicaid lost paperwork and made multiple errors along the way, and Rachel was on top of making sure they continued with the process. Two commercial insurance companies took an excessive amount of time (6 and 8 months, respectively), but Rachel was consistent with following up with them to stay on top of the timeline. Physician Practice Specialists was recommended by a friend of mine who utilized the agency when he set up his practice. Im glad I took the recommendation. I was able to focus on the daunting task of opening my own small psychiatric practice while not having to deal with the unnecessary complexity of health insurance credentialing and contracting.

The initial associate I worked with was not actively with her duties at all and did not start some insurances applications until 2 to 3 months later which confused me. This really disappointed me as I could have get on some insurances early instead of later. In middle of April, I received a call from them that Marisa will be taking over and handle my account. She also took it upon herself to show me how to access Medicare online, which goes to show her dedication to her client.
