I got my windows tinted on my Tesla. I got their premium package, which includes micro edge finish so the tint shouldn’t have any gap from the window edge. They the whole car had a 3-4mm gap around the tint. And one window had a 6-7mm gap but they fixed that. Also the 15% seems lighter than my old 20%, that could be down to different brands I guess. So if you go make sure you check the gaps and probably go a shade darker than you were thinking. I’m not thrilled with it considering it cost more than most places, without higher quality. But they did get my car done in just over an hour so at least they are fast.Update: they spoke to the owner, and they couldn’t believe that came from his shop. Turns out the computer sizing is slightly off for my car model. They re did it and hand cut it. It’s not perfect but it’s much better, but you can’t expect perfect when it’s hand cut. I have the original photo and the worst window after it was redone. The worst is better than the best of the original. They also gave me a nice discount on the front window ceramic to make it up to me. Thank you for fixing the issues, you have earned my future business with you. I will be coming back soon to add a vinyl wrap.

I recently purchased a car that had illegally tinted front windows and stopped by to inquire about getting them done. The price was pretty decent and they were done in about an hour, which I considered pretty darn good for a walk-in. They even had a fluffy dog named Axle who kept swinging by for some pets which I absolutely did not mind🐾

The place is very nice and organized.Great window tints installed on my car.Cons: Based on my experience with other tint shops, for the price that I paid for my window tints, I could’ve gone somewhere else for a bit cheaper and reasonable price. Also, they could work on time management especially when I had an appointment already set up. I showed up on time and they told me it’d be done by 6pm, which is the time they close. I show up 5 minutes prior to closing and they didn’t finish until almost 25 minutes later. I’m not convinced it should take almost 2 and a half hours. I’ve seen several other shops take an hour or less to install window tints.Overall, great products installed. Professional and polite workers. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Everytime I go to Tint World, the owner Kit and his installer Mike, always does a excellent job on my car.In the last year I have gotten many upgrades installed on my 2014 Chrysler 300 Uptown Edition, and to be completely honest, I dont want to take my car anywhere else. Paid $400 for a complete hack job, had to go back 3 times and have bubbles fixed they pieced together my back glass, had to tell them twice to fix that. This place is a joke and will never go back. My windows still look like they arent professionally done. So many better places in town that arent franchises and will take their time to get it right the first time.

This company went above and beyond for me and my husband. We only had one working vehicle when I wanted my cars windows tinted. My husband took the car in and was going to just wait for the process to be done. The employees offered to drop him off at home and drop off the car as well whenever they were done. They did exactly that which was amazing of them. That was 3 years ago when we first got to Jacksonville the tint is still holding up like new. No peeling or bubbles or any other flaws. I was very pleased with the service that tint world provided. They went far above and beyond in the arena of customer service. It was not simply a one stop shop. The paint was in rough shape on my mercury Marauder and I needed replacement parts and a new differential cover for maintenance. I thought that after the detail work and ceramic was complete I would have to go elsewhere. No they not only provided excellent accommodating service like more like a neighborhood garage And not a franchise. Not only did they do the coating and correction but found in quality control some things with the coating they missed and corrected them bending over backwards to meet what they considered a quality product to uphold their reputation. It took a little extra time but they made the car look amazing as the 16 year old paint would allow. This showed integrity of the staff to be able to back up their promise to the customer.I’ll be coming back and I highly recommend this group of mechanics. I came to this location to get window tint and PPF installed. They had the soonest available from the locations nearby so i decided to make the 1 hour commute for their services. First impression was great. Kit the owner matched the price for the tint that i was goimg to get at another location because i was doing PPF there. Well fast forward to the next day because i left my vehicle the day before, kit calls me near closing time and tells me they were able to get the PPF done but not the Window tint and the vehicle was ready for pickup in the morning. This upset me because i scheduled to have tint done at another location but canceled because he told me they could do it. Not to mention that they had the vehicle for a whole day. Kit told me he will find a way to get it done and he did. However when i went to pick up the vehicle the PPF seemed as if though it was installed in a hurry. The film was not centered on the emblems on the hood and there were some areas where the film was lifting from the edge. Kit tells me he will put that top piece on order and redo the hood for me. The plastidip that i had installed was also damaged as well which he did address by giving me a discount due to that. Lastly when i got home i noticed that the package i got per my invoice states that the PPF also included full hood, A pillars and lights. I paid for something i didnt get. Called kit and said he will place this on order. Only reason i gave it two stats is because the tint came out well and kit has been easy to communicate with and professional. I will update this review once they correct the discrepancies with the PPF

I highly recommend this branch of Tint World to everyone. I had my mirror caps vinyl wrapped to a gloss white to color match my truck. Unfortunately the wrap didn’t stick very well to the texture of the mirror caps and started to bubble and come up along the edges. I brought it back they fixed it and told me to get chrome mirror caps because the wrap will stick to the chrome better than the stick black textured caps and they’ll wrap them for no charge and they stuck behind their word. Awesome place, friendly and knowledgeable staff. If I can give more than 5 stars I would! Highly recommended.

First off I really appreciate the 1st Class customer service. The staff is very accommodating. I was a walk-in to get my windows tinted. They quickly took care of me and I was out the door in less than 45 mins. I returned a few days later to get my tail lights tinted and requested that they black out the Red GMC decals on my Yukon. A request that they had never gotten before but still attempted. Non-the-less it turned out great. With a neighborhood garage, family owned and operated vibe the staff will go out of their way to make sure you are happy with their work. Plus they offer a variety of services.......just ask. I will definitely be going back in the future.

We brought one car in to get some upgrades on Lighting, was so impressed with the work and friendly staff that we have now brought in our kids cars for upgrades on stereos, lights, decals, window tinting, etc...Pretty much everything under one roof. And we have a list of work we still want to get done. Honestly never thought a 60 year old woman would want to trick out her ride, but Im all about it now. I also want the Remote Start, upgrade my stereo and going to get my home windows tinted. Will save on my light bill and cut down the glare on my southern facing windows. Ive replaced shopping at Belks with shopping at Tint World and Im having the BEST time !!

Had driver and passenger windows tinted here ending up seeing a good amount of scratches, lint/fuzzies, and small air bubbles in both windows, also had the tint peeling on driver window top corner. I Took it back with the warranty to get them redone which took a little over 2 hours just for 2 windows and still found visible scratches in the tint, also had to fix air bubble myself to keep the tint from peeling in the top corner again. I’m the type to go over every inch of the window with a light to make sure it was a good quality job, I was not satisfied whatsoever.

I have called a couple of places in jville and Tire World has the best price and they have a lifetime warranty on their tint. They gave me a quote on the phone and made an appointment for the next day.The place was really nice and very comfortable. The owner, Kit, was very friendly and accomodating. His staff were very professional and very helpful. I am very satisfied of what they had done with my conversion van.

The only reason they are getting two stars is because of their customer service. My car has now been there three times and they scratched the window so it will need to go back again to get the window replaced and tinted AGAIN for the fouth time. Youd think theyd put a little more behind their work at a cost of $500.

Best customer experience I’ve had in all my life. I called before I walked in and the guy on the phone was extremely helpful, squeezed me in their schedule and when I got there all the staff was nice, explained everything and answered all my questions. The pricing is good, the wait wasn’t too long, and them mfers offered me pizza from their own lunch. As well as the complementary drinks, snacks and tv to watch in the waiting area. Bringing back my buddies car In a couple days. Highly recommend their work.
