Took my truck in for a basic oil change and asked to top off gear oil in the rear differential. They won’t “just add fluid, they will repair the leak”. I explained I just needed more in it for now until my husband is back from deployment to fix it. No go, ok whatever just do the oil change. Call me about a half hour later and was told I need a new oil plug $9 cool sounds good. Again call me back and said they can’t find one and that my entire oil pan needs to be replaced $580+ tell them no and to put the original plug back in. Turns out they stripped the threads after draining the oil so it was just leaking out (wasn’t leaking before!). My husband fixed all of it for under $50Will never be back

Alright guys, I have to disclaim that I am a very picky person when I go get anything done to my car, and when I found NTB I was so excited to go to somewhere where I trust all the employees. The service manager Richard, is amazing beyond imaginable. He gets you in and out as quick as possible and their prices are amazing. They work fast, and give you top of the line effort to make sure youre set to go. I highly recommend them!2 months later, I dont know how they get everything done so quickly! Back in again for an oil chance, Im telling you guys there is no place better!

Frank and the team at NTB have been great to us, time and time again. Our first visit was immediately before closing time before the Thanksgiving holiday - and they were more than accommodating, even staying late to make sure we were good to go. After the holiday we came back, had an alignment done, and they’ve got a great area and WiFi available if you need to set up shop as I did.I have been back for rotating services and puncture repair, too - and each time they’ve been highly personable, informative and guiding in their recommendations... and NOT in the sense of pushing you to the most expensive options.Online appointment scheduling is a huge plus - and for us - we’ll always drive the 30 miles to see them and know we’re taken care of.

Took about a half an hour to get my alignment done quick and fast I was very pleased I called everywhere and I couldnt get an appointment until next Tuesday but they saw me that same day I was very pleased I will be going back.

On one occasion, right before Hurricane Florence (Sep 2018), Frank kept the doors open so I could get emergency services done on my SUV, prior to evacuating my family. I had an excessively tight oil filter cap on my wife’s Dodge Journey. After exhausting all my methods of taking it off I took it to NTB on Lejeune BLVD. I explained my situation and they were absolutely eager to help. Absolutely professional, experienced, fast and blissful crew ready to tackle anything in their way. Hands down would go again for future repairs and highly encourage those needing/seeking repairs on their vehicles to come here. I was in and out, and blessed to have met the crew there.

Took our vehicle to get our tire patched. Thought it would be a simple fix. We didnt know our gauge had busted but they showed us what they found and explained our options to complete the fix. However, when they checked the rest of the tire they found an entire intact gauge and let us know! They saved us money by being thorough and honest! We will absolutely trust them with our vehicles and highly recommend them to others!

Frank Buchanan was the one to greet us and help us! He was very involved with the entire process. Our breaks we’re having issues squealing every time we stopped and instead of hiding the fact that we didn’t need new breaks he took it off and showed us that it was glazed. Overall everyone there is very friendly and accommodating. We got our breaks replaced anyway and they made sure that everything was working just fine. The prices are also fair and transparent. This business is extremely military friendly and we will definitely be continuing to take our car there for any further issues! I highly recommend coming to this NTB

Drove down to Camp LeJeune to visit grandkids, from Baltimore yesterday. When we were right inside of Kinston, we found a slow leak in our right front tire. Half an hour later we realized that we had a breach in the sidewall.We limped into Jacksonville, called the closest NTB outside of base, and it had our tire!Not only that, they had us in and out in 25 minutes with our preferred brand of tire, and most of our wallet intact. Lastly, and maybe most importantly, Zach on the phone, and Frank in person, were very friendly and accommodating. We hope to not have tire problems again down here, but if we do, well be back!

I went in for a flat and the gentlemen in the shop actually had me come look at the tire itself to show me where the nails were (there were 2) and then explained why one couldnt be plugged because of location of nail in tire, etc. I really appreciated that because I got to see first hand the issue before just trusting them and buying new tires. 100% recommend

The second I walked in I was asked what I needed help with and how they can help (keep in mind this was a walk in and not a appointment during heavy business hours for them) they quickly and efficiently took care of my vehicle as well as gave me a fantastic 6 month warranty. Over all very very pleased with the service and would highly recommend to anyone looking for an honest dealership that wont overcharge you for high quality work.

Im a loyal customer to the service central stores (NTB, Merchants, Big O). This was Merchants until recently when they were changed to NTB; still the same parent company. Ive never been taken advantage of coming to these places. Its pretty hard to develop a trusting relationship with a mechanic, but I always feel like I get a good price and good service coming to these guys. They dont force you on anything and Ive even been encouraged to seek another quote. Through the years Ive bought new tires, had my AC worked on, and had many oil changes for my Suzuki Reno. With the road hazard protection, theyve changed tires no questions asked. They dont even make a big deal out of it, they look at it, test it, and replace it. If you dont already have one, I would suggest getting a service central card since any purchase over $199 is interest free for the first 6 months. All in all, great mechanical service, great prices, no hassle customer service and comfortable atmosphere. Give this place a chance and Im sure youll return.

Do NOT take your vehicle here. They will chargeyou for a repair that literally does not fix theissue. My husband had to have an alternatorreplaced and they told me via phone they had notcharged for the part but just the labor. The nextday the car did not start. So today my husband hasto go pick up the car yet again from them. Thistime they said they had to replace it with anotheralternator and a wire which made it go bad. Thistime they charged more. I tried to tell my husbandthis is just the game they play to get what moneythey can from you. They do not care if you needyour car or can afford this type of BS or not.What these people do NOT understand is I know howvehicles work and that has a lot to do in part tothe fact my ex husband was a mechanic. So thewhole story behind a wire is what ruined the partis a crock. If you want to get what you pay for,take your car to the Chevy dealer...extremelyreliable no hassle no BS. I do not take my car toANYONE other than them and never will again...Ihave personally dealt with NTB and that was amistake. Nice people but nice people will not fixa broke down car!!!!! UPDATE: We went to get the car and it WOULD NOT START!!!!! Now hes been told it is the starter thats making it NOT start!!!! CROOKS AND ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY, VERY DISHONEST. I do not recommend for batteries. Thankfully my dad is an interstate battery dealer in IL otherwise I would have never known they screwed me over. They informed me they couldn’t look up my warranty because the batteries were not purchased here, however, with all interstate batteries you just need to show them the date stamp on the old battery. Had warranty on my batteries still and was charged full price when I should’ve been charged like 45% of retail price.However, they did refund me some when i confronted them about it- thus reasoning for 2 stars.

Great service, friendly, honest, and accommodating staff, reasonable pricing on tires. Def would trust these guys with my car again. Only minor complaint was the price I was given previous day to service was not including something unsure what exactly was missing out of the original estimate, but only $40 difference so not too bad. I got new tires and an oil change and was out within an hour. They did what I asked and most importantly did not try to up sale anything or try to sell me anything I did not need which is what I look for in a good company!

I brought my truck in originally to have my spare swapped to the rim that goes with my truck, it was a simple request but Frank was professional and squeezed us in on a tight schedule. I brought my truck back up because I have had issues with it pulling right and I was curious about alignment specs, long story short Mr Worthy was very understanding of the situation I was in and squeezed us in yet again and validated my concern and fixed this issue on the spot. I highly recommend these folks and know where Ill be bringing my other vehicles when they need service.

Since being new to the area, I do solely rely on reviews and checking the area out before going. But with this place being a 4.2 on google and Tire Co a 4.3; I decided to go here, and it’s Nation Wide! This was my first time today, and Frank was very helpful and made sure to get what I needed done. He was able to answer any questions or concerns I had; he was informative, gave me a good idea on what was going to happen or needs to be done and in a timely manner. I also really like that they have more hours so not rushing to get off work early or to try and beat traffic and also 7 days a week. Props to them for that dedication, it is much appreciated I am sure more then they know it. Long story short, first visit definitely sets a tone if someone will come back or not. GREAT service here. These guys went above and beyond last night for me at 5 minutes til closing time, Frank,Dylan an one other guy made it happen for me last night when I blew out a trailer tire last night right in front of their store. It was literally 5 minutes til they closed, they could have told me to kick sand they are closing but they did the job an did it well. I was out of there in 15 minutes. I know like everyone they are ready to go home at quitting time but everyone of them had a smile on their face and I didnt detect or hear any complaining that a customer came in at closing time as some places would do.

I went in for an alignment on July 10. The technician there did my alignment and was supervised by their Assistant manager Blair. They did not have the tools to do the alignment so they had to use my tools. They completed the alignment on my truck. About 300 miles later the steering wheel went crooked and i started to have a very bad wobble coming from the front end. I was on my way to Texas when this occurred so i could not bring it back to them until I came home. When i got back to North Carolina i brought it back to Merchants and was told that my ball joints were bad and needed to be replaced. Now how did my ball joints go bad? well the technician who aligned the vehicle did not tighten it down all the way which in turn destroyed my $500 a piece tires and also destroyed my ball joints. The assistant manager Blair stated that all his mechanics are ASE certified but the technician who aligned my truck is in fact not ASE certified. Now Im stuck with 2 chopped up tires, and now have to replace all four ball joints because when they didnt tighten it down all the way it blew the ball joints out. I will be complaining to everyone on base and will never recommend anyone to that store again. You guys destroyed my tires, and my entire front end and now are saying that Im liable for the damage. I had not one single issue with he front end until i got it aligned at merchants. When i went there they said i needed an alignment but did not state that i needed front end work. So because there not qualified not ASE certified technician did an absolute horrible job on my alignment, I have to fork up close to $1500 just in parts. Not to mention labor which I will not be going to there shop to get done. This is not the last time i will be complaining I am going to the head quarters or wherever i have to go to make sure this is situation is rectified. I am absolutely done dealing with the incompetent employees that work there.

The first time I went, I went to have my truck aligned, they returned it to me with the steering wheel offcenter and the truck still not aligned properly. I went back and they said they’d be happy to straighten my steering wheel and try to re align it at no cost, which I was happy again. When I got the truck back this time they told me they could not get it to perfect alignment because the stock caster bushing was non adjustable and that it needed to be replaced if I wanted my truck to drive straight. I bought and replaced the part and brought it back. This time they told me they did the best they could but the truck still won’t drive straight with no explanation to why. I will be going somewhere else from now on. Customer service is pretty good, but the work is not.

I have never had a bad experience here. The men are always courteous and friendly and very helpful. Most importantly, I have never felt like they were talking down to me. They will continue to get all my business!

My family and I experienced a Flat Tire at approximately 7:05 PM (store closes at 7PM). I called a few minutes later and the staff there Mr. John and Mr. Frank welcomed us and was able to provide the service needed with no trouble at all and gave us an excellent price on a new tire. This place is ran like a family buisness. I strongly recommend this place to anybody that needs any maintenance done on their vehicle!

This place is amazing!!! I came by 20 minutes till close to get tires and forgot what size they were the staff tried to figure out the size off of a picture I had on my phone ALL of the staff came to see if they could see the size! They stayed open later for me to go back to my house and buy them! On top of that they were able to get me in the next morning bright and early to get my tires put on! Literally they were angels sent from above for me! With out a doubt the best business in town! Their customer service and readiness is uncompareable! I will be coming to this store from here on out they are absolute ANGELS!

These guys are so awesome and honest! They don’t push anything on you. So many repair shops convince you that you need to spend your money right then and there, but these guys did a free break system inspection and resolved the squeaky noise I was hearing with a simple fix. I will definitely be returning here for any work needed on any of my vehicles!

Came here a few days back to get an oil change and they asked for my whee lock key to rotate tires. They couldn’t because my front 2 were bald. I come back a few days back, They never gave me my wheel lock key, and can’t put on my tires. Worst service.

Ive been having my vehicle serviced at NTB for years now, even before they changed the name. This shop in particular has always been great and helpful. I typically come to them for my oil changes. One time they spotted something that was wrong with my vehicle and luckily fixed as soon as possible. Typically with any issue, they go out of their way to fix the problem. They have quick and friendly service. Well done, gentleman.

5 stars for the tall guy at the front desk who came outside in the freezing cold to help me out. Im in town visiting family and needed my tires filled. I went to ask the man at the front if someone was available to do it real quick since I was in a hurry and was late meeting my grandfather. He was very nice and very polite. Instead of just askin one of the others do it, he came outside and did it himself. Mind yall its freezing outside and even I didnt want to get out of the car.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. They care more about your money than your safety. I took my car here for an oil change and alignment. I was having trouble with the steering and mentioned that. After a day in the shop they told me I needed a new power steering rack, which was around 800 including labor. I agreed, and asked them to make sure it was safe to drive to New England the following day. They said yes. In Connecticut I lost power steering and could have been seriously injured or killed. Thankfully I took it to a reputable car place up there who fixed the problem. I called and spoke to Blair. Merchants only gave me the money back for the labor. Like I said this business cares more about your money than your safety.

Terrible customer service. I scheduled an appointment for 9:30 for oil change. I was there for more than an hour and my car wasnt touched.

Tire rotation and oil change.Dirty handprints on door handle, dirt on inside door handle and door. What a mess!Did not reset Tire pressure monitoring system. Missing valve stem cap.I returned to discuss. Manager gave me free oil change for next visit. I will give them a second chance, but am greatly disappointed. Gave 2 stars because manager tried to make right. If mechanics are failing to do the simple things, can they be trusted to do the rest?

I left a review and not only did the owner reply to my email but when I called the manager assisted me with no appointment needed. I dropped my car off and Frank Buchanan (manager) not only got my car back to 100% but didnt charge me for extra work that he did in order to get my vehicle running properly. Im very impressed and will take all my vehicle maintenance business to the NTB on Lejeune Blvd.

I had been going to NTB for years due to the excellent service I have always gotten. Unfortunately I ended up running into an issue where I was provided the wrong product for my car. That store is 4 hours away from this one. After being at the other two locations in Jacksonville, I spoke to Paul here and he got me squared away and even went above and beyond to make sure I will be taken care of in the future. I was beginning to have my doubts and I hated bringing another stores mess up to him but he was one of the most helpful people I have ever dealt with in regard to car service centers. I definitely recommend this location for all your car needs.

I love this location. I’ve been taking by vehicles here since we got here in 2014. When I call the people recognize me and my vehicles. It’s they are family. I had a issue with another local NTB using a play on words to try and get extra money out of me. Out of convenience I went to the closer one and paid to have a check engine light diagnosed. They chose to only diagnose why the light was flashing.After trying to resolve issue with them I contacted corporate. They sent me to my original NTB on Lejeune where the guys there re did the check engine diag for me at no cost. They spent 4 hours looking. They then came to me with a summary and quote. 2 weeks later I had the issue fixed and as I started leaving the lot the light came back on. The manager told me he’d reset it again and to drive it awhile and see if it comes back on. Before I made it home the light came back. I called and they scheduled me for the following morning. Turns out something hadn’t been tightened all the way. Since then no issues with the vehicle. i will never make the mistake of taking my vehicle anywhere else but this one specific location!

I went to NTB thinking I had a rim leak but it turned out I needed new tires. Once they took of the tires they noticed I needed new brake pads. Frank took the time to talk to my dad on the phone and explain what was going on. Frank and Paul made sure to keep me updated. They found two bad parts after they had thought they were ok but they werent. Paul took care of this for me which was such a kind thing to do and a tremendous help!
