I purchased insurance from this agent in January when I bought a new car, but decided to go back to my old company in Feburary when I found out that it was cheaper for better coverage. I called to request cancellation a week before the new months policy period (and payment) and was told I would be emailed a form to sign. I never got it. So i just let the insurance lapse. 2 weeks later I got a call from the same person I spoke to asking to cancel telling me my payment was late. I reminded her I had asked her to send me the cancellation form and was told she would make a note of it. That was the last I heard from them. Today I received a bill from National General insurance for coverage for three weeks after I asked to cancel PLUS the month of coverage for February I had already paid for through the agent. WTH? I called National General directly, explained what had happened, and got the cancellation back dated to the correct date. I also told them that if they dont have a record of my payment I would be happy to provide it, and that they may want to consider their dealings with this shady agent in the future. Never again for me.

3 months ago (December 2018) , my insurance agent lowered my rate (after it went up several hundred dollars randomly and couldnt tell me why). He said he lowered some of my coverages and all he had to do was send me the DocuSign email to finish it up and give me the lowered rate. He never sent it. I started calling each week, his computer was broken- he couldnt do anything until he got it back. He got his computer back and I started calling daily- leaving messages because he wasnt in (out to lunch 30 minutes before closing and etc.) Anyway...to keep this review from being extremely lengthy- he told me a few times that I would have the e-mail by tomorrow and now... 3 solid months later... Ive still received nothing. Still have the high rate and Im done calling him. Im switching agents and keeping the same insurance. I couldnt imagine how horrible it would be calling him/emailing/leaving messages, if I had a serious problem such as hurricane damage and nowhere to live. This is 3 months of waiting/calling/emailing/messaging- just for a simple electronic form. Lesson learned.

Great place, they give results for a reasonable price in good time.👍👍 I kind of wanted to take a star away for not being open on saturday tho.
