I place my repair paid for it the gentleman didn’t do any diagnostics just replaced my less than 2 years old ice maker. No Ice. Called again. Gentleman did inspect the broken ice maker and says I needed a water pump. And ordered the part. Then when he came again to complete my repair he had ordered the part and had to order another. So after a month. The part came. They replaced it and charged me for labor but low and behold I still don’t have ice. Waiting for a supervisor to call me back before I reschedule for it to finally be fixed as I want my money back before they come out again and the lady that I did call advised that if the service man had to do any work I would be charged for labor again! Stay away from them!!! The only reason I gave any stars is because the repair gentleman was nice!

He spoke to my son in the yard and never even came to the front door to introduce himself, never came to my door when he left, charged my credit card without talking to me about what he had done and didnt even put the mower back where he found it with a cover over it.

Service technician called an hour before he arrived, and was on time per the time frame he stated during the phone call. He examined the mower thoroughly; explained what he was going to do; showed me what was wrong; cleaned and tested the mower to be sure it was working properly and to my satisfaction. He was excellent!

Excellent experience, except for the scheduling. Most service companies now can give customer 2h time frame at least 24h in advance. Best Sears could do was 8a-5p window until the morning of the appt. I received the text that the tech was on the way 30min before his arrival. This is inconvenient and doesnt take into consideration part-time residents who must drive hours to get to their homes.

The serviceman who came on Wednesday was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. He explained the problem and has ordered the part to repair the freezer ice maker. The first two trips by that rude Service Plus repairman were a waste of my time because he had NO CLUE what the problem was. As soon as the new freezer door (which the water line was continuously freezing in) arrives and is switched out, I will be happy and satisfied.

I called Sears having already gone through the troubleshooting steps and knowing what part needed replacement. I wanted to buy the part and have a repairman replace the part. They could not put me through to a technician, neither would they let me order the part. I scheduled the repairman for the soonest opening which was twelve days away. In that time I found an inexpensive replacement online and had it shipped to my house and replaced. When I canceled the appointment they immediately went into sales mode trying to sell me additional services as opposed to simply saying, sorry this was inconvenient.The first appointment would have cost 100 dollars and the part would not have been replaced until the technician ordered the part and came back again to replace it. I wanted to pay for the convenience of a repairman and the piece of mind but that would have taken a few weeks or more, and cost at the very least a hundred dollars over what the piece actually cost (25$ online). For 125 dollars I could have almost bought an good used appliance anyway, for 200 dollars I know I could have.Single mothers and the elderly are probably fleeced by this business every day. If you are in that position just ask a mildly handy neighbor for help before wasting your money on this service.

Washer repair was completed quickly. We had purchased a maintenance agreement when we purchased the washer and that was the best investment we have ever made. It has paid for itself many times over. Its not that the washer has needed lots of repairs but when it did, it has sure come in handy!

12 days without a dryer is a long time. With the extensive questions that you must answer to get an appointment for a service technician to visit, how can you not come prepared with a few parts that might fix the problem? If the home owner who has a service agreement is willing to pay for overnight delivery for the part, why is this not an option? The technician did a good job. The service process is ridiculous!

Rap air was completed within 2 hours once the repairman.came. It took 2 weeks to get him here. Not very happy about that. Sears did give reward money to buy a small dorm sized fridge or I could have rented a full size fridge and been reimbursed for it which is nice.

Although the repair service was rescheduled twice because of the weather, The coordination and rescheduling was handled very efficiently. The problem with the washer was diagnosed when it was reported and a repair part was ordered and received based on the symptoms. However the technician assigned to my case had seen this problem before and planned for a different diagnosis. He brought a different repair part with him in case he was correct. He was correct in his diagnosing and planning and was able to completed the repair even though the wrong repair part had been ordered. A highly professional and experienced technician saved the day.

It took three weeks to get my washing machine fix. First time they send the wrong parts. So I had to wait another week. I called the 1-800 my sears number. When the person answer the phone it was in a foreign country. Who had no idea what was going on. The old parts that was taken off the washer was left in front of my house. I was told 4 times that they will sent someone to picked it up. Then at the end I was told that it is my responsibility to get dispose of the old parts. So much misinformation and in convenience to me. I still needed some more parts for the washer the legs. The technician order it and told me it will be mail to my house. This was since December 19. I got the part on December 30. Then I had to schedule another appointment. I try to speak to someone in the repair Department and got cut off. I am writing this not only my me but for other customers will not have to go through the same heartaches I have been through.

What next?Benefits group lost or closed out records for replacing faulty unit so now sending new repair people out. Have not had ice on a regular basis since February. Sears warranty service is no longer performing to previous standards.

Repaired properly I suppose. Had to wait 2 weeks for parts. Not happy to learn that this washer is programmed to only allow up to 94 degree water even under HOT setting. This is not hot. Not happy with that!

The repair tech was friendly, knowlegable and efficient.The wait time to get the rep in the house is unacceptable. Initial quote for a refrigerator repair was 3 weeks. I fought with numerous phone calls to get the time reduced to one week, a long time without a frig. Bottom line: no more Sears appliances, no more Sears service contracts. I will deal with independent repair firms only who normally can show same or next day.

Our technician was a great guy, efficient and hardworking, but it took two weeks to get the first appointment to find what parts we needed then two weeks after the parts arrived at our house - add two weeks to get the next appointment and you get six weeks of the ice maker not working - thus 5 star for the technician,NO star for the home office

Such terrible phone service and they wont show up. Dont even bother calling because they dont speak English and wont resolve anything for you. We waited for the given time period of 1PM-5PM, and the technician never showed up. I then called to figure out when he would be showing up, and was told he was on his way. That never happened. The next morning I get an email saying my appointment was changed to that day. We took an entire afternoon off the day before, it was not possible for us to do it again the very next day. The lady was not able to help us at all and when I asked to be transferred to someone who could help, they also couldnt help. I actually went back to who I got my home warranty through and told them to NEVER send Sears as my repair service again. They noted it and we will be having someone who can actually do something and fix our problem come out.

First Sears cancelled my services on 21 Apr and reschedule me for 27 Mar., I had another food loss on 28 Apr my refrig remains leaking water. This is the WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCE. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY FOOD LOSS REIMBURSEMENT FROM FEB 17., ALL I EVER GET IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPPORT. I NOW HAVE TO COMPLETE ANOTHER FOOD LOSS WHICH HAPPEN DURING THE TIME OF A HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND THE FRIG STOP WORKING AND LOSS OF FOOD AGAIN. I FEEL IM PAYING MY MONEY FOR EXTENDED SERVICE, AND I JUST GET THE SAME RESULT AS BEING AN UNNNN SATISIFIED CUSTOMER. AND SEAR HAS FAIL ME ONCE AGAIN AS A CUSTOMER. I HIT THE ONE STAR, BUT IT ACTUALLY REPRESENT A TRIPLE NEGATIVE. I FEEL THE REFRIGERATOR SHOULD BE REPLACE. IM JUST ONE CUSTOMER THAT WILL NEVER RECEIVE THE PROPER CUSTOMER SERVICE I DESERVE, AND NOTHING IS GOING TO TAKE PLACE EITHER FROM SEARS. The problem with the ice cube must be an engineering glitch in its design. The ice cubes froze inside the ice cube maker and the repair man removed the ice cube maker and ran hot water over the cubes and removed them. He than put the ice cube maker back together and the ice cube maker resumed making ice cubes. Kenmore should look into this problem. If I did not have sears protection it would have been a costly repair to pay for an engineering problem. Repair is coming back on 09/12/2016 and the problem is back again and the ice cube maker should be replaced

It took us a month and three service appointments to get the thermostat in our refrigerator replaced. Thats a month of spoiled food and three days off of work to have someone home during an 8-5 appointment window. It was a very simple repair and this level of service was unacceptable.The technician was hurried and almost rude. After one of our appointments, he actually cancelled AFTER coming to my home and failed to follow up as promised. When I called Sears they had no record of him being at my home, which made me very uncomfortable. I asked for another technician, but they sent the same guy again, despite the fact that I made it clear I was not comfortable with him coming to my home. I was very upset and called customer service but they have not followed up.Overall I experienced terrible service, and I would not recommend Sears in Jacksonville for home appliance repair.

Not sure how to rate this, tech arrived said i needed a new ice maker i was a little shocked since I ve only had this refrigerator freezer for about 14 months,tech said he did not have part but another tech would be by to install part, ok this all went as the tech said.However when I tried to pull out the freezerDrawer would not pull out, so once I found that out i called the the number to report the problem. I ask that they send someone the next day to checkout the issue and was told by agent that no one could come out till Friday. I then explained that this time frame of waiting was not acceptable, all i got was thats all they could do, i explain that the techs were just here so they should be able to make this happen i was again put off was told they would note this and that i may or may not get a call back, this was Monday, called back on Tuesday telling the agent that it was the afternoon and i had not recieve a call from anyone yet, i ask again was there anyone coming out again was told iy would be Friday i at that time told the agent again, the importance of someone coming sooner.I then went thru the time frame of owning thisRefrigerator freezer and that at 14 months of having this piece in my home i had to have the ice maker replace and now the drawer will not come open, i told the agent if they were no going to send someone out that evening that Friday they just needed to bring out a new refrigerator, i still have not got a call back from any Sears professional on this matter.So i have to wait till Friday for someone to come out and see if it came be fix in the meantime im still being inconvenience because i cant get access to anything in my freezer that i need to cook. I have the expense of going out each day buying food to cook.I wish i had never purchase anything from Sears, i use to do business with them years ago. Now i remember why i stopped shopping there.I guess i feel that this issue should have been handled like the next day, oh well if techs are booked up pay overtime and take care of the customer, thats what make your doors open and close each day.Right now Im not a fan of Sears, if i need other stuff for my home, it will not be from Sears.Unless there is a big change.Again this should have been take care of the next day no customer should have to wait this long this is unacceptable.

Now I have to wait another week for them to come out and look at my dishwasher again for them to order another part so I can wait another week for them to install it. Service in ENC sucks.
