I ha. d 2 issues with this the company… They come to my home and inspect the issue. Cool connections was the one that I thought that was the best fit for our family and at the end of the day they did not even pull a permit for out air ducts (we live in Clay County & we are required to have a permit), when I asked him (owner) if he had pulled the permit for our air ducts , he said he was going to pull them later on in the month and he never did. I called several times and never got an answer. It has been past a year and I am still waiting for the fact that the main boss Chris was supposed to pull the permit for the air ducts and it has not happened… Chris , is a good sales man, but he lacks community compassion. I hired him because I felt he was capable of doing the job but he prove me wrong. I have lived in my home for almost 2 years, I had Chris come to my home after the first year to redo our air ducts to improve our home and we are still having the same issues he never reached out to us to confirm the permit for our air ducks to ensure that we were up to code he just forgot the whole situation.

Problems with two HVAC units were repaired in one afternoon. Technician Dan is knowledgeable, courteous, and a good face for Cool Connections. I would use this company again in a heartbeat. Kudos Cool C!

Our A/C went out Saturday night, and they were at my house first thing Sunday morning. Our tech was Dan, and he was awesome! Im a first time home buyer so I dont know much about A/C systems. Dan took the time to show me and explain how my A/C broke, and how to prevent it. Dan is the man!!

THIS MESSAGE IS NOT TO THE AC TECH. Schedule an appt for maintenance about a month ago...less than 24 hours water was all over my laundry room. Call the company, right away a tech came out told me the situation, handle it. Less than a week, AC went out! Called Cool Connection paid $100 to see what the problem....was told it was the fan. AC still under warranty, but the Labor would be 3 hrs./$360 total. Call the company to work out something because Im not working due to COVID-19, was told to pay half now and the rest later. Tech came out Saturday night and finish the job in less than 20 mins. Yes! 20 mins. Paid the tech $160, I mentioned the time and he referred me to call the Company....did that Monday and ask for $100 back, because it was just 20 mins. Was just told by the Acct./Debbie, Lets make it even because I have to pay my Tech to pick up the part and take the old one back. WHERE IN THE HELL IN JAX FLORIDA DO YOU NEED $100 FOR GAS TO PICK SOMETHING UP AND TAKE IT BACK??!!! Well after 6 yrs of using this company, I come to find out they are a RIP OFF!!! I guess they needed that $100 more than me, to meet their quota for being closed due to the COVID-19.....GOD WILL take care of COOL CONNECTION FOR TAKING FROM the WEAK at a time like this!

I thought Cool Connections was great! They came out promptly within a half hour of my calling them, and were able to identify and fix the problem quickly.I was a bit concerned having someone come in my house because I am at extremely high risk of severe illness from covid-19, but the technician was careful to wear a mask and kept distance the entire time. I was really grateful for that and appreciated that they were so prompt, courteous, and professional. 10/10 will definitely use them again, thanks guys!

We been using them for 4 years bought new ac unit from them , last year I call them of yearly tune up before they came ac was working fine , after tun up 5 days later my ac stop working so I call them they came charge me 250.00 $ , so they broke something , charge me , this years did same thing I will never use them again so run the other way never use them

Installed new system in 2016. Performed periodic maintenance and occasional repair since then. Previous visit less that 3 months ago to diagnose improper cooling. Storm Sat night knocked out AC. I called early Sun and was promised same day repair. Checked with Tech in the evening and he apologized about not being able to make it but promised he would ensure early Mon morning that I got priority help. When I called the Office Monday I was told by the scheduler that Management had decided to stop servicing my area and there was nothing she could do. At my request, she promised to have the Manager call me. Nobody ever did. DO NOT USE THEM - they dont deserve the 1 star I was forced to check.

I have been with this company for many years. They have replaced my A/C unit in October 2015 and they do service checks twice a year for me as well.Chris, the owner, is responsive and proactive when I have had questions or concerns. The techs who service my unit have been consistent and on the same page. Thats important to me when it comes to an A/C unit.Additionally, the techs dont pressure me to purchase additional features like some companies do.Sherry, the employee who makes the appointments and does the follow up calls to customers is very pleasant and listens to her customers. Her customer service is top notch in my opinion. If a customer has a complaint, suggestion or praise, Sherry is the one who does this follow-up.

I regret that this company installed my unit 2 years ago. I paid a service call Thursday 10/29 and the technician stated I needed a condenser pump for $500. My husband purchased another one fromHime depot for $59. I want my $99 back for service call. This is the biggest rip off company ever. I just paid to have unit maintenanced in February this year😡

Overall nice and responsive to any need and concern we had.Update: I would never recommend cool connections to anyone. We had work done earlier this year and now the SAME issue we had the work done for us back. They wanted to charge us just to come check out THEIR work and then proceeded to tell us that the warrant only covered their labor and not the parts. I am very disappointed in this company.

Last yr service valve was leaking n all they did was add freon when it should have been replaced with unit under warranty. My Damper for my downstairs went out on me. The first person to come out was James and found the problem right away, but he told me that the parts needed to be ordered. Once the parts were ordered James called me back and set up the appointment. James wasnt the one who came out the person the company sent out was an technician named Rasheed, and he did a great job. Once he got all the new parts installed he ran a test to ensure everything was working correctly. Rasheed is very professional and is a really good A/C Technician.

Basheed was excellent at showing us an easy way of putting our Trane filter in. He was extremely professional and took time with the outside unit to be proactive as to why it wasnt performing at its best, I love my Trane and the service I receive.

I was charged over $300 for a part that was under warranty. That said the part was free, but they changed for picking it up. They did it to me twice, never again.

Lousy company, lousy service. Paid cash for a new system, the installers took 3 weeks to install and did not hook up drip pan drain line causing water to go everywhere. The top of the airhandler for the supply lines leaks out the sides and the thermostat is garbage and no the one for the system. Yes I called and yes I told them about all these issues, even paid them to do an inline cleaning on the system which means the will pull the coils and clean them, they did NOT do this bit charged as if they did. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

If youre having problems call up cool connection and ask for Mr. Keith Williamson...... That is the first step is getting your problem fixed right there. when he gets there point him in the direction of your unit and let him do what his 20 plus years of experience has him trained to do. i have used a few other companies in the past but when i crossed paths with Keith and watched him work my search was over. He KNOWS how to TROUBLESHOOT and that is the key. He got my units back online and even called back to check if everything was alright with them. Hes my go to guy from here on out. If he switches companies ill switch with him!

After realizing that I had basically no insulation in my attic or crawlspace area above my first floor ceiling, and noticing that JEA offered a rebate on blown in insulation services, I called Cool Connections, who is listed as one of the several JEA preferred contractors that you have to use for the rebate. I just randomly picked their name because their location was close to my house and another one of the companies never even returned my call. I got really lucky with Cool Connections.Chris the general manager came out shortly after my phone call and was on time, professional, and clearly explained what I needed, and more importantly, what I did not need and didnt try and add in material or labor that wasnt necessary. He gave me a written estimate with the JEA rebate built in. The price was reasonable and the energy savings will likely be well worth it.I chose to go with Cool Connections and they just completed the job a few minutes ago. They showed up on time, took great care not to damage any of my landscaping or interior of the house, and worked efficiently and had me take a look at their work afterwards. I went from having basically zero insulation to 15 inches plus.I would recommend Chris and Cool Connections to anyone. In addition to the blown in insulation work, they also are a full-service AC company. Give them a try.
