I mailed Jason an antique handmade lock from the 1880-1920 Eastlake/Aesthetic period for re-keying, and not only did he promptly produce a working key, he somehow managed to get the lock, which is permanently brazed together, working smoothly again. The price was more than fair, and the bonus is that hes got quite a sense of humor. It was a pleasure doing business!

I will never use a different company. I called, they came out the next day at the time they said they would. Professional and nice and the lock looks good and works well. The gentleman was very thoughtful about his mess and wood shavings and then on the way out helped me with my garage door pad battery just because he saw how to do it. He could have kept his mouth shut and went on about his way but he chose to help. He also made some adjustments that make my door easier to deal with. It was as painless as it could have been and the price was very reasonable. I will absolutely be recommending them when I hear someone needs lock services.

I bought a replacement Weiser mechanism and installed it in our 20-year-old handleset and it works better than new!This is great because they dont make that model handleset anymore and our front door is very nice 42 solid oak door so a replacement handleset would require refinishing. Other than the mechanism the handleset was fine. It looks fantastic and now worls.

Wont do business with them again.I try to support local business in the Fondren area because I live there but I wont be returning to SE Lock & Key. The woman working there was very rude and didnt seem happy to even have me as a customer. I tried making small talk.. tried to be nice and friendly. After I purchased my keys and am walking out the door the lady says Arent very friendly are you?ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

Not a pleasant experience. The owner (?) seemed to be pissed off from the time I walked in. Spent about 30 minutes trying to make a key for my lock. He then basically threw it at me and said he couldnt make one.
