Powerhouse downtown is awesome! I went in today to sign up for my membership with a woman named Mikaelah. She hooked me up and made sure I knew where all the different machines and amenities were as well as gave me quick tutorials of how the machines work. The atmosphere was super comfortable for me to pick back up my fitness journey and I’m super excited! Very clean facility.

Ive been a member of Powerhouse Gym in Jackson for over a year now. its a 24 hr facility and the one thing I like the most is that has lots of equipment. So those two factors, means that most likely you wont have to wait for equipment. That was a selling factor to me. Included with the gym membership comes boot camp. Which its a great complement to weightlifting. Staff is great and very knowledgeable, facilities are well kept. The only downside is that it only has two showers.Next to it, its 517 CrossFit. Ive now joined it and as far as results, I couldnt be any happier.

This gym is remaining open despite the Governors order for Gyms to remain closed. On top of that, they are continuing to charge membership fees and charge for cancellation of memberships even though THEY SHOULD NOT BE OPEN. When we called to ask them to stop charging until the Governor says they can open, their response was Jackson County is not abiding by the shut down order and we can charge since we are open As it turns out, other Powerhouse gyms are open as well around the state while all the other gyms in Jackson are closed. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with them, they ignore guidelines and mandates and just care about money.EDIT: When we went in to cancel the membership they were able to waive the monthly fee and cancellation charge.

My favourite gym im Jackson. It is never too busy and is very clean. They have awsome programs and classes that are included with the membership at no extra cash.I would recomend this gym to anyone that is looking for a place to give you guidance on how to better your health and routine.

I love that its super clean and 24 hours

I have been at this gym now for about one year. The gym is fairly well maintained and has been clean and inviting. There is a good amount of equipment for the beginner all the way up to the advanced. There a lot of cardio and other non free weight type machines for those who want to engage in weight loss and other low impact type exercise. The free weights are plentiful and the variation in the type of equipment is good allowing for a solid work out that equates to big gains and little to no wait time for equipment. As a bonus, the facility also has a full Cross-fit gym and a martial arts class. Great gym for all levels...

Great place to lift!

Gym is nice, alot of machines and free weights. Not busy. Only wish they offer variety of packages like planet fitness to bring a pal.

Tried to charge me during quarantine, not acceptable.

This is a powerhouse gym. Exactly what I expect. Good selection of weights and serious people working out.

Best place in Jackson to get a workout in without being judged or feeling like you dont fit in.

Needs better customer service and better equipment
