Such a fun day! We were rookies and our guide, Chris, was patient with us all day and showed us the ropes. He was extremely knowledgeable of fishing, safety, wildlife, etc. and able to answer any and all of our questions. He had us feeling like pros at the end! Would definitely recommend

Went out with Josh on my sons birthday. We had never fly fished. He was a terrific teacher and had us both catching fish. Now my head is all messed up and all think about is fly fishing. Thanks Grand Teton Fly Fishing!!

Went by shop around 11:30. String across open door held sign that said closed but I saw a dog laying on the floor. Looked in and saw guy on computer. He looked up and said Can I help you? I said I was looking for a fishing map and his reply was shops dont sell those anymore its all online. He was quite dismissive and made it clear he wasnt going to give me any other information such as how the rivers were fishing or give me the opportunity to buy any flies. I had walked a few blocks out of my way to get to the shop. Never experienced this attitude in 25 years of fly fishing. I walked a few blocks t)o another shop and I found them to be very accommodating and they in fact had Maps. In summary, since everything is online, perhaps you should note your business hours more accurately since clearly on the web it said you were open. I understand that stores are sometimes short staffed but would normally expect some small amount of courteous treatment.

Absolutely fantastic day! We did a day trip on Snake River with our guide, Josh and we had the best time! Josh was attentive, patient and knew the best spots to catch fish. We look forward to our next trip here soon and will most definitely be booking with him again!

I had the opportunity today to fish with Walt, our guide for the day. He was exceptionally professional, effective and personal. The snake river is an absolutely beautiful river. I have fished all over the country and it’s hard to beat the level of service and enjoyment I got out of today’s fishing!

I had one of the most relaxing times in Wyoming fly Fishing with Walt. He was just as excited as I was when I caught a fish. He said an ok day is 3 fish and a good day is 6 fish. My goal was 7. We caught the 7 and he taught me with patience. I felt like he was relaxed like BOB ROSS. He was very happy. I appreciated his company and conversation. Thank you Brother. If you are out in Wyoming you MUST do this trp. Once in a lifetime. I saw Bald American Eagles and it was just a beautiful relaxing fun experience. I started to get addicted to fly fishing. Thanks again.

My son and I did two different trips while in Jackson. Both guides were awesome! I would highly recommend these guys if you want to go with the best.

Terrible customer service.Went in to stock up on some flies and gear. We some simple questions about public access and some general pattern suggestions and were treated quite poorly. The employee in the shop was very dismissive, short, and condescending. He only responded after being asked and no other employees addressed us to until we sought them out for check out. Poor vibes and fairly rude customer service. I’d recommend taking your business to some of the other, kinder outfitters in town.

We had an amazing (10 star) experience with everyone, including Scott, the owner! Scott was our guide and he was very patient, informative, and did a ton of back rowing, etc... to keep us where the fish were! Josh was the other guide and was fantastic... along with Bruce and Christine King, who work the front desk! Great job all... I highly recommend using Grand Teton Fly Fishing! ~ barbara & chuck

Spent a beautiful day on the Snake River with Walt from Grand Teton Fly Fishing. His knowledge of local waters, (beyond the Snake) and personal history with fly fishing was invaluable. Guide was friendly was about the best thing I can say about our recent float. Only caught 5-10 fish and all but one were under 10 inches. Seemed like the only thing we did was zip down the Snake river. No back rowing or slowing down when we were on good holes or runs. Much of the time the boat front was pointed at the bank making it hard for me the rear fly fisher to cast and get a good drift. No need for more detail. Judge for yourself, however the guides in West Yellowstone and in Victor, Idaho are 100 times better.

The guide was great. Worked patiently with my wife and son who had never used a fly rod, gave excellent instructions.

Guide was great and did his best thats the 2 stars.Very disorganized manager or owner didnt have the start time in the morning set right based on the river we were fishing and the time it would take to travel there. Very disappointed.
