Now I bet if I lived over in those white neighborhoods Like Belhaven in Jackson, animal control will come out in response right away. I have a dead dog in front of my house I called them on Friday to come and get it I am disabled and cannot dispose of this poor animal they told me they were gonna dispatch someone out to do it no ones ever showed up so I got a dead decomposing Dog carcass in front of my house. There was a stray dog on the side of the interstate and I wanted to make a call so they could come get him and he wouldn’t get hit by a car. Instead they Never picked up the phone. It just rang for 5 minutes then hung up.

They dont pick up the phone and when they did they want to charge me for picking up a dog that was at my home not my dog some one left him here and I did not want him did not ask for him they left him I cant feed it to big for mr

Not sure why they have bad reviews, My call was answered immediately. The nice man went and looked to see if they had picked up my fur baby, and took my phone number since my dog wasnt there in case they picked him up later or someone brought him in. Very professional and understanding.

What is the CORRECT contact number? It’s rings and hang up! I have also been by the building and it looks deserted with dog barking in the inside. I walked all around the building and no one seems to be there!!! I jus want to find my dogs!!

They don’t even answer the phone. Willing to bet this is just another front by the city of Jackson to funnel tax dollars into that just go straight into the politicians pockets rather than be used for what they are meant to.

I called and talked to a representative and they said they was coming and it’s been 2 hours they never came I tried calling back but they keep hanging up someone can be in danger but they don’t wanna do they job!!!!

Every time I’ve called the number listed it beeps and hangs up. If you want to help with loose animals running in yards to protect the owners of yards. Then give a working number.

I just want to leave some stars for the polite folks who took my call and for the young fella who came out and took care of removing a dead stray dog from my yard. It took an extra day because the original gentleman misplaced my address BUT when I called the next day, they already knew about my original call and took ownership of the mistake! Stuff happens, but I appreciate them taking ownership, the apology, and the quick action.

Just spoke with a representative in the animal control division. The owners (renters) of a house two doors over from me will leave their dog outside for hours and the dog barks consistently. Very disturbing to our neighbors and me. I hope that animal control can get the neighbor to do the right things with that barking dog or give it away. We live in the City of Jackson, not the country.

No one answers the phone! It doesnt ring. Horrible service for Jackson,MS! New management need to be put in place. Lazy people will never get anywhere!!!

I have called them 3 times about 4-5 pit bulls running loose. No one ever answers the phone. Two of them bit my RE rep. He has Dr bill of $384 to prove it. What a waste of taxpayer money.

I called about a dying kitten in my yard. Young man said to be patient and they will send someone out. No one ever came and I had to remove the carcass myself once it died. Very disappointed.

Called 3 times about a neighbor’s rooster, yeah, in the city limits! Rooster is still there. Maybe I need to call the Mayor to get them some “help”.

Ive called repeatedly about pit bulls breaking out the neighbors yard. They bark all day all night chase the kids, chase the mailman, chased several exercising neighbors. The police department did not come at all the other night as if I was bothering them was the tone of the dispatch lady. I have called animal control twice and no one has shown up yet!This is why good people are leaving the Good city of Jackson. I am so fed up with the city government that I am selling this one in north Jackson & buying another house next spring in ridgeland or Brandon and I will not be in Jackson I give up! Dont call me racist either.

A small puppy came by he was bleeding. I called them and they show up in 5 mnts.

I called about my stray dog that kept trying to get in my garage. The lady didnt even send the Animal control. This is why so many people are leaving the pathetic city of Jackson. You pay taxes here for nothing. The city doesnt want to work for the community that why all the communities are invested with stray dogs and drugs

I have called twice to have a dead dog removed from the next door yard that is smelling that and my yard and the odor is so strong it is drifting into my home no has came out to remove it why dont the city do their job
