Just can’t say enough positive things for our experience with Garrett Plumbing and A/C service. I contacted on a Monday afternoon through online appointments and received a prompt return call from Mike who said they would do their best to try to get out tomorrow but they were pretty covered up so it may be Wednesday but sure enough I had a call Tuesday morning at 10:18 that they could head my way. Our Service gentleman Calvin Williams was nothing short of AMAZING! He was polite, courteous, friendly, thorough, explained everything, knowledgeable, and HONEST. The plumbers sent out for our leak under a concrete slab knew what they were doing in making the repairs. After I disassembled the island in our kitchen so they could get to the pipes it only took them a few hours to complete all the work.. They even cleaned up after themselves well. I will use them again if I ever have a problem.

These guys Rock! They have done multiple jobs at our place and they have always been FAST, on time, super friendly, and do quality work! Highly recommend them!

We asked for our central units to have routine yearly cleaning. The guy came out and stayed for over 3 1/2 hours. He spent alot of time in the back of his van. I finally went outside and asked him why he was taking so long! He said the upstairs unit needed a part so he put a part on it. I ask him did he get permission from my husband to put a part on it? He said no he just did it. I said well I better not get a big bill from yall because all we ask for was routine cleaning. He said he would have his boss call us. Of course the boss never called and when we called we were told the bill would be over $350! We will never use them again! Beware!

Very impressed with Garretts. The young men who fixed my leak were outstanding. Displayed professionalism, confidence and great knowledge and people skills. They came very quickly and I am pleased with their work.

Ive attempted to call this place twice to get assistance. Once for my Ac and the other time for my Hot water heater. Both times I was told if I wasnt already a previous customer they werent taking on anymore customers. Worst experience ever. I know now not to call this company because they arent interested in my business. Anyone that ever asks me I will tell them how poorly the service is and not to hire anyone from this company.

They worked on my central air, for years. It is my practice to call on one company to work in my home. Being a new homeowner, I didnt know what I didnt know, I relied on them.I noticed that I had to call them at the start of every season. Winter, too fix the heat, Summer to fix the ac. Then, it got worse.They repaired the air unit after it got flooded over in my basement. Afterwards, I called JEA to light the water heater in the basement. JEA noticed that the factory installed safety feature had not been replaced and they red tagged the unit. I called Garrett to fix it after they had left it off during their repair. They charged me for parts and labor. I had suddenly started experiencing personal health problems but I didnt realize what was happening.The basement flooded again, flooding my unit again. I called Garrett to fix it again. JEA came to light the pilot again. This time they red tagged my air unit because two factory safety features had not been replaced. I called Garrett again to replace the parts. My health problems were getting worse.I called JEA out because I thought something was off, didnt know what. Because of my ambiguous explanation of my concern, they brought the CO2 tester. It went off full max while they were at my front door. That meant my home was dangerously high with carbon monoxide. They informed me that a child or pet would be dead from the level of carbon monoxide.I had already been to ER for symptoms that may have been a heart attack, but that wasnt it and no cause was determined. At work, I had an episode that caused me to be taken to ER three days later. Many tests, no determination. Finally, Dr. Cornell ran a CO2 test. I had a near lethal percentage of CO2 poisoning. Going to work, out of the house, was the only reason I was still alive. The CO2 safety feature had not been replaced on my air unit.The unit exhaust duct had collapsed and carbon monoxide had been exhausting into my home as the unit ran. The safety feature prevents the unit from running if this happens. Garrett did not replace that part.Apathy, is a huge symptom of CO2 poisoning, no sense of urgency, lack of concern. The damage to health is permanent.After depending on Garrett for years, this is what happened to me. The profound apathy while recovering from the carbon monoxide poisoning caused me to have no concern regarding Garrett. I just called another company when I needed work in my home. They got lucky on that score.

We have been customers of this company for over 30 years and spent well over $7,000.00 for goods and services. Never have we been dissatisfied or had any problem. I called them about my airconditioner and pipes but they said there are no technicians available at that time. A couple of days later, two men just showed up without them calling me (these men came without masks on or foot coverings unlike techninicians from other companies that came to my house).These men looked at my airconditioner by peeling the taped part and said that I need a new one but they said it would take two weeks before they can install it because of lack of personnel. I called another company to install my airconditioner since it was very hot at that time and I cannot wait for two weeks. I thought I did not owe these huys from Garrett plumbing since they came in unannounced the guys who came did not bill me or make me sign a receipt for an evaluation fee nor I was informed about an evaluation fee when I first talked to the guy from this company. These guys did not do anything for me since they don’t have any technician available until two weeks, I was not informed of an evaluation fee nor I was billed and signed a receipt when they came to my house to look at my airconditioner. Now they are making me pay $114.95 for an evaluation fee without making me aware about before they came to my house unannounced. The technicians also should have billed me and made me sign a voucher before they left for a proof of service, but they did not do all that what was mentioned above. Please beware of this company. There are lots of professional, cheaper but quality companies in Jackson , TN.

Very good and professional

Garrett Plumbing and Heating had an excellent response time when I reported my AC not working. However, I called with two specific issues and only one was acknowledged and corrected. The technician quickly restored cooling functionality to my AC unit, but there was a separate issue with my drip pan drain line that was brushed off as normal after two separate service calls to my house. Be prepared to inspect the repair work yourself. If I had not I would have had major damage due to an overflowing drain pain in my attic unit.
