Im quite surprised by all the negative reviews. I went here this morning for an annual Employee wellness test which includes a blood draw and found everyone pleasant to deal with.I arrived in my car about 30 mins prior to my appointment. I checked in on my phone and got a text around 15mins prior to my appointment saying to come into the office and that they are ready to see me.I immediately get out of my car and wait in the office but minutes go by and my name wasnt called. I went to the front desk person and he was very kind, and took my information and then I was seen. Having to wait 10 minutes to be seen after I got the text was the only annoying thing about my visit.Right at my appointment time, the phlebotomist came into my waiting room and began taking all my measurements. She was very kind and even made me feel more relaxed when I told her I get anxious with my blood being taken. All in all it was a very quick and pleasant experience. The only thing that I took a star off for, was a long wait in the waiting room after being texted that I was ready to be seen.
I am here for a very sensitive visit. The nearby bathroom has signs posted on it that advise you have to request a key to get in. Upon doing so, my car keys were taken in exchange. I quickly utilized the bathroom and returned for my car keys, as my phone was dying and they communicate their readiness to see you by text. I had to wait several minutes to get my keys back, and immediately upon reaching my car, I received the text message; I could have been informed at the window. I walked up to the window and was told that my lab slips werent in the system, no they wouldnt accept the email which was the only way they had even been given to me, would not call the doctors office, and asked me to leave to have them printed because they wont accept outside emails.I waited 30 minutes to even be called up and am now late to work. In the rain. Terrible, and definitely makes a stressful situation worse.Update: a white girl went up to the window with emailed lab slips. The other front desk lady took a look and told her it was fine. I will be running this up the flagpole.
Front desk person has no people skills. She does not want to be bothered and it shows. I will never go to a lab corp again.
Scheduled at 14:45 and reached office by 14:35 but test was conducted at 15:45. We schedule to avoid time but it got delayed by one hour and more over the staff who collected the samples does have cough and cold. Not sure how does it affect in Covid season. I dont recommend to visit Labcorp
Worst experience and treatment of humans I’ve experienced at a lab. I never leave ratings but strongly advise to avoid this location. I checked in on my phone and it said I would receive a call when they were ready, I never received one and decided to walk in but the front desk lady ignored me when I said I had already checked in. There’s a nice lady there but if you get the wrong lady at the front desk, you’re out of luck. I would not trust having someone like that draw my blood. Will go elsewhere.
Worst experience and treatment I’ve experienced. The collector (Genesis) was extremely rude for no reason at all, from beginning to end. You should remind your employees to be kind to their customers. Otherwise, youll run out of them. Im also sharing this feedback with my employer who sent me to your facilities. I felt very poorly treated, I will not come back or recommend this lab to anybody.
I couldn’t even check in without someone running asking what am I here for and then telling me they are closing ... mind you it’s 4:45pm. The absolute worst place. Poor customer service. If you need to go anywhere else do so- coming here is a waste of time. Disrespectful-lazy- talking about people lab work for others to hear. Very disheartening
They close a whole hour earlier than advertised. Very unprofessional!
The text message / online check-in from your car apparently doesn’t work. I had a 3:00pm appointment and checked in at 2:53pm. After waiting until 3:15pm for a text I decided to go in and the very unhappy lady at the front desk didn’t really care and just told me to check-in using their kiosk. I tried calling to see if they got my notification that I checked in but apparently this location just doesn’t answer the phone so that’s super helpful. What’s the purpose of having text / online check-in if it doesn’t work? Instead a bunch of people are crammed in one waiting room - Great.
Aj and Vanessa were God-sent! The whole process of me going to lab Corp and bring seen was quick and efficient. Both Aj and Vanessa were extremely friendly and helped to ease my nerves. Previously, I had bad experiences with Lab Corp, but they were able to change my impression to a positive one. I highly recommend this location and both Aj and Vanessa.
Pathetic service. Wish I could give 0 stars.
So rude and unprofessional been sitting here for 3 hours and they got the nerve to say they are not taking any more pre-screening drug tests i hate this place go somewhere else!
Staff is unhelpful. Did not follow their own COVID protocols. Its unclear if the online system actually checked me in.
Worst place for blood testing they dont have care on costumers i saying this because when they took my blood they dont clean the room and quickly put one more costumer in. door and floors on room 2 with blood on it. Was disgusting 😒
This location is SO Pleasant, Prompt and Professional! Wish I could remember names. I was here about 10 minutes total for an employment screening. I went to another location at Medical City and was met with complete rudeness and unprofessionalism before I tried the Irving location. This lab corp revived my hope for good customer service after such a terrible experience at the other location. Thanks Las Colinas LabCorp! You were awesome!!
12/16: I want to change my ratings to four stars. I have come to know from my doctors office that blood drawn earlier has been used to come up with a report . Im sweetly surprised. I thank my doctors office and Labcorp for saving me a visit to draw blood once again. Appreciate it12/12 post:Rating 1 star for their lack of process clarity. Last week, I took my kid there. Blood was drawn. Just when we were about to leave, we were asked to present a questionnaire from Doctor. I did not know about the questionnaire. Lab assistant informed me that it is my responsibility to bring that document along. Well, point taken, but should it not be told before someone draws blood, that too from a kid? It was late in the evening, doctors office was closed to calls. I asked them to hold the blood sample till next day morning. They said that can not be done. For questioning the lab assistant on this lack of process clarity from their side, I was labelled rude, the events that followed upset me further. I was made to feel guilty, shown the door and told -Never come back. I agree, I did get upset over this and kept on telling them they should have checked the completeness of documents before drawing blood. Is it not natural for a parent to get upset when kids blood is drawn and told it will be disposed off next minute? Now, fast forward, I call up doctors office. My doctor says that document was put up in some place in Labcorps web location, she could see the document posted up there. So, it became clear to me, it is the Lab attendant who did not know how to pull up the document and instead of looking for it elsewhere, they found a way to get me out of their sight. If not for this incident, I would have given them 5 star. They were courteous, nice to my kid and us to start off with. The place was clean. I am posting this review for the sole reason that no other guest has to undergo this kind of incident again. Let documents be checked before tests are done. Mistakes happen, I agree, after all we are all humans. I am sorry as well, for repeatedly telling the lab assistant to look at other options. (To Lab assistants) Sir & Maam, I dont know your names, if you get to read my feedback, please understand- My only intention was to ensure that my kids blood sample does not go to garbage.Paperwork is paperwork, It can be done overnight or the next day, Is it not? Well, this feedback is not personal, I hope this will help your process adherence and gives you a picture what goes through every parents mind.Good day
Great service and the ladies up front went the extra mile to correct a mistake the Drs office made, even though it was to a different corporation lab by error. They even went above and beyond to explain how to get the Dr. and that one lab to communicate properly. They even let me use their fax! This places three front staff ladies were amazing. I even heard a customer call one of them bonita. I agree.
The staff are always late, getting in mornings, then the check in process is OK, but with other people waiting in line because of staff being late it takes too much time.
Very rude staff. My sons (7 year) test order was simply rejected with some made up reasons. Had to argue with the staff to get it done. Never seen such a bad customer service . Staffs do not have enough knowledge, patience and behavior skills .
The woman who took my daughters blood sample was agreeable and did a very good job with the needle and helping her get through the process. It took less than 10 minutes for the entire visit. We had a wonderful experience.
They say they close at 5pm but if you get there past 4:30pm they won’t accept you. The door will be locked. The staff member was rude and left with a smirk. I left work a half hour early to make it before closing. So frustrating. If you can go to literally any other location, definitely skip this one.
I only popped in here since it was close to my doctors office. I walked into the building and there was signage that Labcorp was in suite 100, but at the door to suite 100 there was no indication of a suite number or business inside. I took a chance, and found a ridiculously small waiting room with way too many people in it. When I went to the window to ensure I was in the right place the woman simply rolled her eyes, and directed me to kiosk. I simply said, nope, and walked out. There was another location on my way home in West Plano where I was able to get my blood word done without attitude and in a waiting area intended for more than 3 people.
Genesis, at the front desk, was by far the rudest receptionist I have ever encountered. If I could give this place 0 stars I would. It was obvious that she did not wish to do her job. She was rude to both me and other individuals in the waiting room. She closed her screen when we needed her assistance and chatted aimlessly with a co worker. I had to sign in twice on the kiosk for them to still not have my information. She was rude, belligerent, and had absolutely no form of customer service within. By the looks of prior reviews, I cannot see how she is still employed or how this facility is still up and running with the current staff. It is both a shame and rather deplorable that we have to deal with such bad service during a pandemic.
Worst service ever. The lady at the front desk needs serious improvements in her bedside manners. Also, if you are making an online check-in platform, make sure it works or else you’re defeating the purpose of calling it an “express check-in” when people are waiting over an hour to only find out that you were not really checked in! Utterly ridiculous and unprofessional. Such a shame of an establishment.
Very rude staff and unskilled persons to do their job. First of all, they called me after 30 minutes after my check-in, even though only 4 persons are waiting for their blood work. And the staff is very below level of their required skill and very unprofessional. Highly not recommended this location.
Horrible service! You will wait for long periods of time. During a time of a pandemic, long waiting times keep the waiting room full to capacity. Shame on this company for not being able to speed up their intake procedures with more skilled personnel. I won’t be returning here. PERIOD!
When I arrived there was myself and one other person in the lobby. One of the girls came walking in as if she’d been on a break and cared nothing about getting people checked in. Lady at front desk, Genesis, was rude to everyone including myself and acted as if she was put out by being there. She’s also the one that did my bloodwork and didn’t say two words to me. Come on people really? You have to act like that? I will stick with going to the one in Grapevine where they at least acknowledge you.
The lab tech yesterday (7/17/19) was amazing! No pain on 8 blood draws, pleasant and upbeat, and this was at 8am! There were 3 other customers before me and they all were smiling after their encounter. The kiosks are a great idea for fast accurate sign in! The front desk staff was professional and helpful, and this was the best experience Ive ever had with LabCorp!!!
I came in 10 minutes before their lunch time, which is 1200-1300 and the clerk up front refused to take me because “I’m going to be late for my lunch”. If your lunch starts 10 min prior then it needs to be reflected on the sign.
Absolutely the slowest laboratory around. I worked as a phlebotomist for 12 years and I know how quickly this should be. This one staff office has no sense of urgency. I definitely wont be coming back.
WARNING !!!!!!! Came to labcorb for blood work. The waiting area inside the small office is beyond over crowded. The staff do not care for the capacity limit. This place is gonna give someone covid. WARNING!!!!!!!
I absolutely hate giving blood... I have been to this place three times for blood work... I waited less than 5 min all three times... I had to give 8 vials this last time... I barely even felt it... The ladies there are really great and funny too which is nice.
Painless experience for drawing 6 vials of blood. The lady is very experienced and nice.
Very friendly and super fast service!
I was nervous going to this location because of all the bad reviews but it was close to my work. The staff was really friendly to everyone. I was seen right away, only waiting for about a minute, before being called back. They did a great job when drawing my blood and on the first try without any pain. I was pleased over all with everything!
My doctors office back my lab work to sub at 2 PM I arrived without an appointment at 3:10 and I was all done with my blood work and everything by 330. No issues whatsoever with weight time for anything else. The staff was really nice and everything was very efficient.
The most bogus one I ever visited. If possible, just ignore.....
I and my husband made appointment online one day before . we received 20 minutes early . staffs are so friendly and kind . Tiffany worked for us. We like her .She is Professional and niceThanks OF all Staffs
I was in and out in 20 minutes. There was only one person in front of me and a few people came in behind me, but they were called quickly too. When I arrived, the lady gave me a smile and welcomed me in. Ive done a drug test several times with several places and they were as courteous as the others. No problems.
Wow, couldn’t have been easier or smoother. I had read all the reviews herein and was prepared for some issues. My experience could not have been easier. I made an appointment online for 10:45 AM on a Wednesday. I completed the required documentation on their website. When I arrived at 10:30AM on the day of my appointment, there were only three people in the waiting room. I scanned my drivers license and completed check in using the link Labcorp had texted to me. At 10:32 I was called back and had my bloodwork completed. It was literally 10 minutes from arrival to departure. The staff could not have been more friendly. The nurse who took my blood had just recently transferred to this location. She was super pleasant to talk to and very professional. Labcorp deserves credit for addressing the concerns that were previously raised in reviews here.To ease your experience, use the technology available to you. Make an online appointment. Scan your identification. It should be a smooth visit for you.
Phlebotomist, name Chantnell is fantastic. She was very fast, efficient, pleasant and painless. This was the best experience I ever had at Lab corp.
They are great. We have to go there regularly and they are friendly and efficient. I see reviews that complain about getting drug testing done but the we site clearly gives their hours, including hours for drug screening which end earlier than they close.Monday-Friday 8:30A-5:30PLunch 12:30P-1:30PDrug Screens 8:30-12:00 1:30-4:30
Very very rude behavior from the front desk representative, called to check the pre-requisite of a blood work and she didnt even listen to Me even though I requested multiple time.Absolutely negative attitude towards any patient care, DO NOT recommend to anyone.
Front desk was unbelievably rude, not only to me, but to the other two people waiting also. Find another lab corp location.
If I could give this location 0 stars I would. This location has been nothing but issues for the past year. First if you get there after they open there is so many people waiting that its at least an hour before they even call your name to check you in. The staff their is too rude that I feel like Im a third world citizen. I have to go on my lunch break every time I get blood work and this is the closet location to my job. Why in the hell would a location try and be open when they are being remodeled, Any business that is in this kind of field should not be open during a remodel.
Horrible experience. They cannot even honor an appointment booked through their own website and mentioning that they are working with their supervisor to solve the issue and still not allow me to complete my tests.
My experience was the best! I wish I could give 10 stars. Ena was the best technician Ive had in years! She was super nice and helped completed my test in minutes, even when I arrived late. Thank you again Ena, we need more people like you!
If I can give 0 Star, I wont hesitate at all. Very poor customer service and the lady who works here is very rude and acts like we need to pay her to answer our inquiry.
Worst service ever whole US. Dont know why it takes so long just for simple blood work. O wish there was a negative rating. I would give -5 stars.
Man at the front desk is quite apathetic, they missed some of my lab work so I had to come back once more, I explain what happened and he instead of apologizing for their mistake tries to blame the doctors office. Be prepared to wait a long time just one receptionist and one lab tech.
Dont bother making an appointment, its useless. Appointments mean nothing when the waiting room is full of walk-ins. Wont come back to this location.
This location is AWFUL. Walk in to a clueless receptionist. They keep your identification for the entirety of the visit which is supremely odd. People are called one at a time with more than 5 techs in the back. Literally the worst place I have ever seen.
Their time frames for certain tests dont match their office hours. This isnt listed anywhere and wasnt mentioned when I called. Had to reschedule.
Ive been to this location 3 times between Sept and Oct to bring my father. Well on Monday I didnt go with him but he told me the girl at the window shanika was very unpleasant, no customer service skills and NEVER smiles. I remember a couple of times before I can even ask a question she stops me and say sign at the kiosk and have a seat, just rude for no reason. Labcorp you have to do better, or well find another location where they greet the customers with a smile
They took my drivers license and didnt give it back. I tried calling them multiple times and couldnt get a hold of them...
Registering kiosks were not working, staff was rude. Spare yourself a bad experience.
Sent from employer to do a drug test. Signed in at 2:53 its now 3:30 and Im still waiting. From what Ive heard from people that are sent to take drug tests here, the long wait time is the norm. Next time Ill drive to the Grand Prairie location.
No point in specifying the type of test you need done when scheduling your appointment. I had an appointment scheduled for a week prior to the appointment. I completed every part of the reservation, including selecting the type of test I needed done. Apparently they dont check the appointments or have a system smart enough to search through the test requests, have inventory on their supplies, and put two and two together that yes we have that test or no we currently dont, then let the patient know ahead of time that they need to reschedule. ZERO communication which ended up being a huge waste of time. Not to mention I had already taken off work too.HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT and scheduling appointments are POINTLESS.
The front desk lady has absolutely no sense of answering questions to customers or minimum courtesy
Very poor time maintenance. There is no point of booking the appointment as they will always call on their own order. Not sure whether all the LabCorp is poor in maintaining the appointment or just this. Management should consider this concern if this is the only location has the problem
GO TO ANOTHER LOCATIONI went here to get labs run my Doctor ordered. I was fasting, and they told me the charge would be $85 if my insurance didnt cover the labs. They took 4 vials of blood. My doctor called me with the results today. THE LAB DIDNT RUN THE TESTS THEY ASKED FOR! Now I have to go back in, get RE-STUCK, WAIT AGAIN, AND BE FASTING AND MISS MY MORNING MEDS!! NOT TO MENTION TAKE TIME FROM WORK AGAIN!!Thanks LabCorp Irving!! Wont be coming back to this location!UPDATE:Called main number to find out why they didnt run the tests. I was told because its listed as profile with D, they didnt know what profile he wanted so they just ran vit D. Heres another option ASK. Had they asked me I could have told them his profile includes cholesterol, TSH, D, calcium, potassium, magnesium, etc. Then she said well every doctors profile is different. DUH... the Euless location looks him up to see whats in his profile. Guess Irving didnt care to put the patient first so I didnt have to come back.
Been in line almost 30 mins. The girl that went in ofc was not pleasant its a line of people standing in the hallway. You hve yet to open the door I know there are chairs inside to sit down this is unprofessional and very Rude will be my last Visit at this location. 8:27 and were still standing out in the hallway
My experience wasn’t as bad since I pre scheduled my test .. had to wait about 20 minutes and the staff were not as friendly as I am use to.The experience I had wasn’t bad to give it 1 starGot the job done..
By far the worse experience Ive had. The front desk clerk has absolutely no people or customer service skills.Date and time: 08/28/2017 , 3:00pm
This staff is very rude and if you ask a question they look at you stupid and they ignore you. Very poor customer service, not professional at all. They need to replace them immediately or they got to change they attitude ASAP. Will not come back to this place at all.
This placed irked me from the moment I walked in on a Friday morning. The receptionist wasnt friendly or courteous to any patients there. I was only the second person there and felt my wait was so drawn out. I had to return a half-hour later with my sample and, again, the receptionist was rude (and the waiting room was packed at this point). The following Monday, my doctors office tells me they were unable to draw results from the sample Id provided to Labcorp because it had been frozen...how could they mess that up!!!I will not return to this place for any services unless I absolutely have no other option. I cant afford the ridiculous wait times and I dont feel I can trust them with my testing.
I had a positive experience with them for pre-employment labwork. The lady that helped me yesterday + today was professional. Total time was less than 15 mins each visit--and they were nice (and it was just half an hour before they closed for lunch!). Im not sure why others had a bad experience bc even to those ahead of me (3 or so), the two women that work there were helpful to everyone.
1 hour wait, on a Wednesday...understaffed only 1 technician was working from 4-530. In addition to the long wait they were out of butterfly needles. Because the technician had attempted to draw blood in my arm and could not, she suggested my hand. I have a big bruise on my hand and it’s still sore 2 hours later..worse labcorp experience ever
It took way to long for a simple test. I would avoid this lab in future nothing against the worker it is too busy and not staffed accordingly.
This place is rude, non cooperative. If it wasnt for the employer I wouldnt be going here
Be prepared to wait here for an hour to hour and half. I dont know surgeries are being done or blood work ??
I arrived without an appointment for a pre-employment drug screen at 10:30 AM. I left by 10:45 AM. There were two people in front of me when I got there. Pretty straightforward and seamless.
Very slow process.... Understaffed. 1 receptionist and 1 lab person. Waiting room full to capacity.
Terrible experience. Staff are rude and you will wait a long time- they messed up my orders and didnt run a test so lucky me had to take more time off work and endure the rudeness and the wait again.
Avoid LABCORP all together if you can, employees are rude. Arrived at 4:30pm. No on at the window, when she came back said she cant do drug screens cause the systems is shut doooown at 4:30. shiet why dont they just close at 4:30 instead of 5pm? how hard is it to turn the damn thing back on. I left and recollected and returned and asked her nicely if theres anyway they can do a drug screen because I needed it done that day. Systems shuuuut doooooown and looked at me like an idiot. No effort there. people like that shouldnt have a job.
Nicest people here!
Reception was rude, worst customer service skills
The absolute worst and the most unprofessional staff ever. Stay away from this place unless you like getting treated like cattle.
I signed in at 9:53am and was out at 10am. Super fast, and very friendly.
Customer service is horrible at this location! The lab technician was rude and didn’t have any clue how their own system works. I was waiting for an hour for her to figure out what she needed to do! Will not be back at this location even if they are the lab on earth!
Rude and unprofessional staff.
Lab need to think about open time while people fasting & waiting on big line. That have 1 technician morning for 50 people.
The site states that they take lunch at 12:30 but stopped taking patients at 11:45. If they need additional time to deal with patients so they could have lunch, they should adjust the hours.
Appointment times do not matter at all. Set one up and all they do is first come first serve.
Quick and easy but sad the staff treats patients as imbeciles instead of fellow human beings.
My whole drug screening process took 5 minutes. went at 2:50pm on a friday
Horrible customer service!!!!
Understaffed, technician is rude to customer when asking a question. This branch does not prioritize customer service.
Staff is not helpful. Long wait times. Understaffed. Very poor experience. Supposed to open at 8:30, did not take first appointment until 9am
Worst place, worst customer service
So SLOW no matter what time you go. It takes an hour to get a blood sample that would take 30 seconds at the doctor’s office. Unfortunately my insurance forces us to use this lab.
Not well manage
Such a rude people ,they wont answer phone calls if they answer they dont respond properly.I called to check did they get lab orders from my doc. They said they wont check right now for that i have to call at 4pm..They put me in line and cut the call,This happened so many times.
Front desk not professional, lots of wait time.
Garbage location
Very rude and non responsive ! They don’t care for customers and their questions.
I peed here once
Very rude staff they mop the bathroom and make you wait never ever will come here again and all staff was so rude
Horrible. Rude. Inefficient.
