Unfortunately I wasn’t able to select my escrow company for my home closing and had to use this company as selected by the sellers relocation company. I urge anyone considering using this company to continue to shop around. The fact a fee was paid to them for ‘service’ is laughable. That is unless you consider service having to track them down the day before closing on your home to learn what was expected and what the process would look like, unless you consider service having your closing date not correctly communicated to you, unless you consider service paying your down payment, singing title docs with a mobile notary and hours later having to reach out to a 3rd party to figure out what actually happens on your closing date and when you will actually be able to receive the keys to your residence, unless you consider service the only time you hear anything proactive is when the escrow company representative contacts you because he thinks you may not be able to make the down payment within the time window and you kindly have to remind the guy that there is a pandemic going on and you can walk into a bank at will and wire money these days. So if being left completely in the dark by a company that can’t communicate basic information, drops the ball and is overall unprofessional then dial up corner escrow. Ask for a guy named David. He is your man.
