Was at the Inkster, Michigan location.The young man at the front counter was a ray of sunshine from the time I walked in until I left! I also made a new friend that Ill never see again. The service was 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ all day long. I just might. Make the trip just for the customer service!!!!

I just entered the Dollar General in Inkster I am less than impressed. No cash back at their machines store is cold it stinks and its filthy all really need to get on your ship thank you have a nice day

This is a decent location. I wish i had gotten the young mans name that works there because when he saw my friend who was shopping with the hand held basket and it was full he saw that and took it from her and took it to the register for her. We got more stuff then when we was ready to leave we had several bags he took those bags to my vehicle. I had never ever gotten that type of service at a Dollar General so shout out to that guy! I love well mannered people who gladly help out older people thats how you know they been raise right! Ill definitely go back to this location plus its in my hometown which i no longer live in but i like the service there.

Everytime i visit this location it seems busy. Theyre NEVER any shopping carts available. The wait time in line seems pretty long. Not that bad of a store. The male cashier always nice

Well stocked for a relatively small store, and clean. The non seasonal clearance area is a bit chaotic, and not everything is priced, but its not a huge deal.Prices are reasonable for a convenience store, but convenience food in grocery costs more than at a grocery store. Come early for the best selection from the coolers. Also, theres beer and wine now. Bonus.

Honestly pretty good selection for a dollar store! Yes, not all items are $1, but there are good deals here, and you wont have to spend that much for some decent quality.

The place is ok. They seem to be stocked fairly well. They do not have enough people at times to check people out so the line sometimes gets backed up. People have stolen the carts and they have not been replaced so shopping there is a real hassle if you have anymore then a few light small things.

Much better kept than similar stores in the area. A little hit and miss with selection. Especially with the refrigerated items. But all considered a good place to grab a few quick items for not much green.

Rated 3 stars because there’s been countless times when I’ve stopped in for something quick and it’d be a line wrapped around the entire store with 1 1/2 employees! HIRE SOME PEOPLE PLEASE! There’s plenty of ppl needing a job!

Loved the $6 movie. The kids likes the activities. Of course they were hungry so I had them eat there. Too expensive! But I knew that already. Parking was too far by the DIA. Next visit Ill go earlier and feed them before we go.

Not the best of the dollar generals that exists. They have a sign on their door that says ....No change or money back at register for any reason.Then I watched a black man come in and ask why? The manager said well....Its actually up to us were supposed to use our discretion and from there he said okay never mind I wanted to get at least a hundred so I will go somewhere else ...thanks .. ...She said no problem its up to me and I can do it for you just come on through.....So the very next day I tried this asked if I could get 20 back in cash and I was told Absolutely under no circumstances didnt I READ The note on the door ?????😏 I hate to think its a racial thing but honestly there was no reason for that and I come I there at least 3 times a week !!! Such is life I guess...

Sells the wrong cigarettes went right back in they refused to exchange them and argued its state rules when its just the rules of the store. 👎👎👎very low class of people here. Acted like they just wanted to punch me lol.

Andy use to work here... They took me off the schedule last year 2 weeks before Christmas without any explanation and when I tried calling HR to respond It took them a longtime to actually fire me. Even after Christmas. Even after nobody would tell me why I wasnt on the schedule. Sooooooooo unprofessional ! The store is always dirty and stuff is alwats everywhere.

First time theyre great store

This Dollar General in Inkster, MI is just like the Dollar General in Hamtramck. Both are unclean, unorganized in certain areas, and merchandise thrown around in certain areas. Floors needs to be swept and mopped. They need to use Windex to clean counter and scanner. The employees, managers, and the type of customers have alot to do with how a grocery store, drugstore, or retail store looks!! Ghetto Negroes help keep the Dollar General Inkster looking like it does. And, Arabs help keep Dollar General Hamtramck looking like it does. These Arab men dont want you being rough with their gas station stores and beer and wine liquor stores, but depending on where they live and the class of Arabs you are dealing with, they are rough when it comes to certain retail stores. Also, no matter who Corporate hires to run these two particular locations, the store managers dont wear uniform or partial uniform. Assistant managers and employees dont wear uniform or partial uniform also. They dont wear their name tags like they are suppose to. They dont greet customers, barely open their mouth to tell them total, never ask customer if he/she has coupons, dont count customer change out to them, and dont end transaction with Thank you! But they are quick to tell me that I have to leave my backpack up front when I walk in with no greeting!
