The lndio Post Office on Fargo St. was very helpful when I purchased a PO box to handle my business mail. Maria helped me thru the process.

They gave incorrect infor mation told.me i didnt have a mail box and all the things i had deliverd to my house i had to go to them to pick but thw mail man droped of a slip saying ita at the office how about you just gove me the item instead

Came to pick up my mail lady in front of me had pink slip to get a package they didnt ask for her Id. I went up to pick up my mail ask for my Id. Like how you dont ask lady in front of me for hers but then go ask the person behind for these. The last time was her never ask.

Your delivery service is bad. My package never came to the mailbox. I need costumer service immediately.

I like it here. Just, whatever you do, try & avoid the older man with the beard. He is rude & gives you a hard time. Allow the person behind you to take him on & just wait for the next employee to assist you. I problems with him twice in a day & just waited for the next available employee & it went smooth from there.

I find it Very concerning that this year after our rout post person was changed that we’ve encounteredMore mail mistakes and missing arrivals. Today I received someone else’s mail, this I fine very concerning cause this is not the first time. To whom do I report this continuation of mistakes to?Once again today , I saw it with my own eyes . A change of postal delivery person , he parked in front of our home under our shade tree . 10-12-2020 approximately 11:15 am tell 12:15 using his cell phone perhaps on some type of break. Different postal person , we had our election ballots out and rather skeptical about what’s in the news as far as ballots . He did not pick up our mail and did not return for the day. Concerning I’d say !

I went there three days ago, me and some people were waiting in the line and all the sudden a guy that works there came and just closed the door in front of us without saying nothing, they close at 5 pm and it was 4:40!!!

Let me get this right...my mail was left in my box on Thursday, then today, mail was stuffed in my box and the mail was left again. When I talked to the mail lady, she says she cant pick it up she because she is late to make the truck. I need to try again tomorrow or to go to PO and drop it off. They can put junk mail in the box, but cant take what is in there out? 5 days to mail a letter because of the holiday. Not happy.

I’m never coming here again, Rick was training a new girl and he told her I couldn’t use my own shipping To and From stickers. I do it all the time. Don’t come here this guy is rude. Taking my business somewhere else.

Called in today to post a package to a friend in MN. As a British person on vacation I had no idea how the system works here. Bill was really helpful and friendly and helped me get my parcel sent with no problem at all. Thanks Bill.

I tried to call them to see if I could come down and pick up a package which was not delivered I spent 10 minutes on the phone trying to talk to a person for a simple question and I could not get it done they need a better phone automation system.

I lost my mail key and had my identification and the lease signed and dated with all proper signatures. The older staff is still magnum PI and declined a key.Yet in my other home in Bermuda Dunes at la Quinta post office, they told me to replace the key and purchase it at Home Depot.Two standards same company???Get it straight and train and update your dinasours!Clean up the place smells like locker room.

Just one problem, if you close a business down, the post office WILL NOT forward your mail to your home. You have too notify each and everybody you can think of that your spouse was connected with and send or call to get address changed

Tried calling also and cant get any help, noone answers, my mail is all messed up going to the wrong address not getting my sales paper, what a mess.

I lowered my grade only for a couple of people. most of the workers do a great job, and effective ... but particularly there is a man named FERNANDO who is a real jerk ... he is very rude ... and its not just that he was upset once, whenever I have to be attended by he behaves the same, rude ... a real idiot

Drove 15 minutes to get there and waited in line for 20 minutes for a money order to find out they were out.. no signs... then had to drive to another one thats 15 more minutes away and they had them.... I will never go to this post office again!!

I visit this post office a couple times a month. It is an older facility in an older part of Indio. The clerks have always been polite and courteous to me. The lobby is sometimes messy but the customers cause that and could cause it not happen by assuring that their junk mail make it to the trans can. If it falls on the floor, pick it up. Dont leave it on the counter, use the trash cans. The lines sometimes get long but the clerks do their best to get everyone through as quickly as possible, often bringing someone from the back to take care of those with only package pickups.

When living in the valley for many years, new residents dont see the old establishment as we do. Employees are like family, surrounding people are like friends, anyone else we get to know. As far as cleanliness, its a post office not a reataurant.

This is the bottom of the barrel of USPS. Id avoid this location, they arent helpful and they lose your mail over one wrong letter in your name. My last name has two F letters and it was missing one on my letter so they wouldnt give this to me when I showed my ID. The manager can barely speak English , I believe shes Yugoslavian , whatever the case, she is not suited to being a post office agent. Good luck finding your mail in this play house, I think USPS sends all its horrible employees here to get rid of them. The line is long, no disabled accommodation , they are rude and nosy. I should be allowed to get a three hundred dollar check without being asked why by a post agent.

Ive had my mailbox for over twenty years, never had any complaints about mail delivery.

The employees at this post office are determined to do the minimal for their guest. I have been living in Indio for 8 months - hence receiving mail there for 8 months. My sister sent me a package with the wrong house# but correct street name. (The house# was off by one number) The package arrived on the 19th - I arrived at the post office on the 20th and learned they immediately sent it back to MS.You should have looked up my name- Held it for 24 hours- Something. You genuinely do not care if packages get to their destination and its disappointing.POST OFFICE - I want you to know you just ruined a very special evening for me that I will not get back. In the package was a ball gown that I am supposed to ware to a winter formal. Now I do not have a gown to ware - and I cannot afford to buy a new one.Thanks.

Its a post office. Dont expect them to wait on you hands and knees. Get your stuff done and carry on.

Visually, this location is an indication of the general condition of the United States Post Office-- dirty, run-down and in a very troubling state of decay. We have become third-world.

I been having problems picking up my mail due to my manager dogs I was not allowed to pick my mail only the manager but never gave anyone authorization to pick up my mail due to the dog problem now they are sending my mail back due to the fact I have ask my manger for my mail she said she never pick up my mail I have no mail for two week can’t pick up my own mail

The manager a very rude tall skinny lady? I lost 3 packages and I stubbornly put one in my box with a note and its a lie! He got angry because they put two cards back on me and when I went to pick it up, there was nothing there that they were misplaced or the machine had swallowed them !!

Be careful when sending, because I sent a package in this branch and they stole the content I went to claim and they tell me that they can not do anything

I arrived 12 minutes before closing and there were only 2 people inside the office. And me and they didnt let me in anymore because the staff had to close the doors at 5:00 pm. What bothers is the attitude of the lady at the entrance. And at 5:03 they were still delivering parcels to people. I just had to ask one question. And he wont even let me speak.

It still seems that it was yesterday, 2011 on Feb 4, I went to claim a shipment, that I sent with a mustachioed man from there, the first time he touched me, before he never had a problem with the shipment and that was in English and this Spanish-speaking man, I told him clearly that it was a gift for my son who was celebrating his birthday on February 6, that he wanted me to send him registered or certified, to receive him by hand, to someone who had always had the idea that he they were dealing with new and recent xbox games, for which I paid $ 250. Im sure he kept them for his children or grandchildren. When I saw that they did not arrive, I went to make my claim and this gentleman treated me very badly, he laughed and he said ... so ... for everything I said, I remember that tears came to my eyes because it had cost me a lot to gather for those games that my son wanted, and he very shamelessly told me to send them regularly and I charged him little and I answered him I did not want him to charge me a little, I told him I wanted it to arrive soon and that it was a safe shipment and I asked talk to the manager and they sent me another woman who because the manager was busy .... And they did nothing. And Im never going to stop there anymore ... just waiting for that man not to do the same to other people and hes just staying with things ...
