Great condition overall except green on North course. Green condition is fine but it is slower than normal.South course is 3 star condition.Fun course layout but its not good condition as much as I expected while Im playing on North course.

They had fun things to do. Watch a movie, play pool or play ping pong. We enjoyed our time there.

I played the south 4/28. It was terrible. Bare spots everywhere on all holes. Looked like they were closing the course. We jumped over to the south on the back. Day and night. Pretty nice conditions. That south course should be closed.

We lived there a few years ago and its even nicer than it was when it was first built.

Nice course, The bad news —- I only played 4 holes, a got a refund. I do not usually post, management should be advised of the Saturday June 5 debacle. They had us tee off #10 at 7:40 and two holes in we are behind a shotgun start (began on 12 at 8am) full half course jammed up, three or four groups per hole. 6 hour day ahead for all of us early Saturday morning avid and 4 hours or under golfers. Unexcusable and not one apology.

Decent golf course but not worth the green fees, go somewhere else. greens havent been watered in a long , long time. Slow play. Staff is extremely rude, they need training on customer service, and clearly they dont care about customers, we wont be back.

I thought it was one of the best courses around love the course. But the greens so bad shape might as well be putting dirt and concrete. We played for 60. That was fine but I would not pay $100 to play this course

One of my favorite courses in the valley. 2 great layouts. Great service, good conditions, basic on-cart GPS included.

Very fun courses, we have played both a couple times. There used to be some great value here when you could get a free breakfast and a couple drinks post round many years ago, not sure if thats still around but was a great bonus!

Do not waisted your money. Go to a place that gets taken care of. Course is dead just like the fish they leaves in the pond. They spend money on club house reno but not what you pay for. I would have gave a 0☆ for the experience. And the resort is not affiliated.

The fairways are brown due to lack of water. The greens fees are high. You will get better value at any of a number of other golf courses in the area. However, I give them 5 stars for rudeness and attitude in the pro shop. The sweet young lady behind the counter was always trying to be helpful but the men working in the pro shop were rude just rude and mean to everyone.Dont play golf here, they clearly do not want your business.

Been playing golf for over 25 years, this is the worst experience Ive had golfing. Starting with bartender by the carts, she was very rude and unprofessional as soon as we got there. I had ice chest full of water, Gatorade and some beers. Rudely, she told us to walk back to the car and put it all back. Stating that there was going to be water on the course. There was only one water station and it turned out to be a water fountain from the 1900s. No ice or cups with that. Bottom line, it starts with management and they dont care about retaining customers. Save your money and go somewhere else

Course in great shape.

I love golfing here except for the wind. Always a good experience. Both courses here are beautifully manicured and fair. Restaurant has a simple menu, well executed. Sergio in the mornings has been there for years and offers great service. Excellent value.

Wayne at the pro shop might be the least pleasant human I have ever interacted with. He should probably stay away from the sport of golf and retail in any capacity. The course looked terrible, which is why it is probably hurting for money. For example, there is graffiti on bridges and course signage on the south course. This course is so desperate, they charge $25 for a rider who is not playing golf. If you want to be treated like trash and see visual pollution while playing on the course, this is the place to play. There are numerous other courses in Palm Springs that I are better kept, friendlier, and certainly do not charge extra for riders.

Amazingly poor experience. Staff was rude and unprofessional. Hard to believe in a competitive golf environment you can treat paying customers so poorly. Definitely will never be back.

Very well maintained course. Played the North course, some fun holes. Impeccable greens, not too crazy, was able to sink a 35 footer that made my day.

Great layout, Well managed course, BUT, players should return their cart in the middle of the playing no later than 16:30. It does not make any sense at all !! Players can not finish the round. It was unpleasant.

Great place to stay. Lots of activities for the kids from the lazy river, basketball courts and tennis. Lots of hot tubs and tons of barbcues for that family feast. I only played the north course for golf. It was a challenging track with great views and diabolical greens. The clubhouse is fantastic with great meals and buffets.

A little too hard for my high handicap but nice course.

Very hilly. Very tight. Much of the course is rough. The have a few holes that need work. Have extra piles of dirt and water holes that were made over time. But they have cool bridge crossings and bathrooms are open. No starter so we ended up having a random twosome join our 18 holes while they only paid for 9 holes. That really sucked.

Great place to play golf

Most of the staff was great but some were out right RUDE!!! Course is beat up, slow pace, some left the cart 70 yard before the green, slowing the pace down. I guess they are only friendly to members, NOT the guest playing. Will NOT be back

As a former employee, l advise you to play ANYWHERE ELSE. The ONLY good things, about playing Terror Lago the price and the Pro Shop staff.The course, in my opinion is in terrible shape. Yes, its challenging, challenging to your mental state. Pin placement is tough. Conditions are even worse. Figure this out, greens dont get mowed for at least two hours into the day, by then you e already played them.No driving range, no practice areas.As l said lm a former employee.Not disgruntled, l liked working there. But Upper Management could careless about providing an enjoyable outing.Oh, l was the Outside Services attendant, so you can imagine how YOUR golf cart is......

Here’s the thing and I work at a local golf course. There are two major issues. The golf the COVID-19. The golf was great. Great courses. You have to know your lines and where to hit the greens. Fairways are key, for any miss is very punitive. Greens good.The COVID-19 protocols are clumsy and lacking. Ice machine, coolers are just waiting to infect someone, pro shop tightly enclosed, the associates not really concerned about the masks although one snuck it on when he saw me. Disinfecting carts sparse at best. Many many guests not even trying to wear the mask or distancing . The season will see a major spike in cases if this continues.Get serious!

I dont play golf. I am staying in their Timeshare facility, and that is wonderful.

Warning, South course is NOT well maintained. No green grass, dry as a bone, bare patches of dirt all over, grass growing in fairway bunkers etc. Probably the worst course I have played in the valley. Man working in the clubhouse was very rude. Would not recommend.

Was ok tough course, here on vaca. beginner golfer, 2 of us. group of men were behind us waiting yelling at us to hurry it up. thought golf was suppose to be a fun relaxing sport

We reserved a tee time for Friday 3/13 through a 3rd party concierge service. We decided to change our tee time to Saturday 3/14 after the forecast called for rain on Friday. The golf check in staff in the clubhouse specifically, Brian H. was extremely rude. He accused us of lying about booking through a 3rd party vendor and refused to try to find our reservation. We ended up paying for the round a second time. He acted as if he was annoyed that we weren’t one of his regular customers. Neither he or the other staff member mentioned anything about the poor condition of the course or offered any discount, but were happy to collect the full price fees for a course which was well below our expectations. There was standing water and mud on more than half of the holes, pumps and hoses in the middle of fairways, flooded cart paths like you were crossing a river. In addition, they overbooked to the point where we had to wait on every tee box and every second shot on every hole. We passed the Marshall 2 or 3 times. He was worthless and made no attempts to speed up play. In my opinion, knowing the condition of the course management should have limited the number of tee times and provided a discount. The gentlemen who took our bags were polite and personable. The most enjoyable experience was the clubhouse restaurant/bar. Spectacular views, good food, and reasonably priced drinks. Our waitress was very polite and personable.

It was 109 degrees outside mid-day, played the first 9 and didnt see the beverage cart once. Ridiculous... Great course though. Make sure you bring your own beverages!

Curb service was awful, no one took our bags. One place to get water on the course. No beverage cart, and the GPS is worthless.At one point we had 5 groups on one hole and nothing was done about it. Called the clubhouse and they said yeah that’s the way it is. Nice layout and good greens but the overall experience was less than pleasing I would not recommend this course at all.

The hills have eyes, creepy thieves live in the desert and prey apon the rich, lock your doors!! This looks like a safe place but trust me its not!

The South Course is terrible. “Unpleasant” Wayne insists it’s because it’s a links course but it’s obviously just terribly neglected. Wouldn’t pay more than $20 to play it again.

Challenging longer playing courses. 36 championship quality holes, divided north south courses. Tight fairways and smooth deceptively undulating greens finish the north course with an island green par 3, visible from the restaurant/lounge. Staff here is great and accommodating to new clients. Food at the restaurant is tasty and satisfying.

Great golf course beautiful, well taken care of.I have been involved with golf for a long time as a player and the running of the entire course operation. It was amazing to me. This golf course would cut their greens so short & roll them when the greens were so undulating. Basically making them unplayable. Maybe the worst combination of green speeds and slopy greens I have ever seen. Very very difficult, out of control for the general public.Slow the greens down a bit it would more playable and more fun.I often wondered today how in such a warm place you are able to keep them a live with such warm weather.Nice benefit you have with World Mark next door, otherwise you might have difficulty finding golfers.

This is a great course, challenging in the best ways. I was surprised they didnt have ice chests on the carts but they explained it was because of Covid. But still a great course. I always play the North course. Last time I went there was a lot if wildlife on the course. Coyotes, Jack rabbits, road runners, lizards, and just plain bunnies, I didnt see any snakes but I expect they get some of those too. There are different types of holes and dessert washes all around the course. If you are playing in summer bring an ice chest. I teed off on 1 and it was 102, by the time I got to the 10th hole it was 114, and I had to call it a day. Without an ice chest its nearly impossible to finish. They do have comfort stations with full rest rooms on the course but the water is hot in the summer. Just a few words of caution.

Booked a round for my father, my son and myself on Nov 30th. My father needs a handicap flag which we requested while booking over the phone. After paying and while waiting at the first tee, the starter said the superintendent just announced cart path only, no exceptions. He said go ask for your money back, which we did. The guy in the pro shop didnt want to refund our green fees and after several minutes delay reluctantly told my father he could use the 90 degree rule. We went back to the first tee. The starter said we lost our spot and would have to wait for four groups to tee off in front of us. Once we finally teed off, the round was backed up and took 4 hours and 45 min. Course conditions were below average. Final comment: there are many much better golf courses for the same or less money in the area where the staff actually want to provide a pleasant experience. We wont be returning!

Amazing course

Worst golf course ever, we made our tee times 2 weeks ago, asked them how the course was and if they were sanding or aerating and they said no, the course and the greens were a mess!! We stoped at the 11 hole. I went in and talked to the gentleman at the pro shop and all he said was he took 10 dollars off when we paid today, which was a lie when we booked it it was 10 dollars off, no real explanation except he said they just decided to do it last week, he was very rude, we will never go back!! So disappointed in his reaction!!! He said at least you got to play 11 holes, not a great way to end our vacation! I wouldn’t even give it a one star!!!! DONT PLAY THIS COURSE YOUR WAISTING YOUR TIME!!

The conditions on the south course are deplorable there is no grass on the fairways there are several muddy spots the only good part of the entire South Side Golf Course are the greens the greens are semi-decent very disappointing for a premium price Golf Course

Horrible greens played in mid October 2020. No sand in most bunkers. Fairways just fair. Nothing special. Not quite worth 45 bucks. We played the South course. Why are they sa cheap about maintenance? Not worth my time ever when I can play Desert Willow for 52 dollars.

This is one of my favourite courses in the desert. They played a skins game here years ago so you know its half decent and challenging. There are 2 courses here with the North being the best.The staff here are very friendly and look to make it a great experience.This course is one of only a few that offer water. They have big styrofoam cups, ice and water that you self serve before heading out. If youre not used to playing golf in the desert, make sure you load up on water. They also just got new carts with GPS.So why the 4 stars? Its HOT on this course! They are close to the mountains so the sun just beats down on you. So load up your water and sunscreen but definitely hit this course if you only have a few golf days while visiting.If my review was helpful, please give it a thumbs up. 😊

Cool little spot just off the I10. I’ll be stopping in every time I pass through Palm Spring from now on out because it was just such a unique round. Especially enjoyed the box car bridges.

After playing 5 holes in 1 hour and 50 minutes we asked to please get a refund or at least a rain check as there was no way we would play in 41/2 hours as promised and our flights were going to be missedBryan offered was turn around and leave thenShocking serviceI purchased the rounds on line a he said he csr do anything as he doesn’t get paid for the round. Find that hard to believe but to simply offer a rain check thst I might not even use as I’m not a resident was so very poor customer serviceWe left after 5 holesDon’t bother playing this course unless you want to play in about 5.5 to 5:45 hours

Fun fun fun. who would have thought playing golf on the biggest fault line, San Andreas, in California would be so much fun? the surrounding land around the course looks like youre on the moon. the course was in decent shape, considering it was 110 degrees today. played terribly today! its the heat, not my skills ;)

This course is in pretty awful shape. The greens are terrible. Fairways have giant spots for ground under repair.

A beautiful setting to enjoy while having a delicious meal with friends or family. My GPS seemed to struggle with the location but finally managed it. I appreciated the vegetarian choices available on the menu. They were most accommodating of our large group.

They should close the course down when greens are being repaired. Couldnt even putt! 18 holes of putterless golf.

Love playing these courses. Beautiful views tough course. Famous for hosting the skins games. Must play.

Ive played Terra Lago off and on for the last couple of years and its great to see some positive changes. The layout and the spectacular views made us come and play before but the condition of the course was never up to par. What a difference a year makes! The greens rolled true, the fairways were nice and green, and the service was fantastic. I was told by a players assistant that there has been a ownership change here and lots of positive energy is going around. We had a fantastic time playing a challenging course. I would highly recommend playing this course.

Only the South course was open. I really wanted to play the North one.

Nice layouts on both the north and south courses. Booked on line for decent rates. They also sell a discount card in the pro shop if you plan a few games here, it may be worth your while. A good stop for a round. Large practice area in included in the green fee.

It took us 90 min to play 4 holes called and talked Brian and he was rude and said he couldn’t do anything even though the group in front of us was painfully slow. Would not give our money back or a rain check. We had flights to catch and at the slow pace we wouldn’t make it. Would not recommend this course. Brian should not be allowed to deal with people ever.

Just needed the lazy river to be open but we totaly understand everything that is going around with covid 19

We love both courses, but the south is a lot harder...lots and lots of sand traps.

While the price is right and the layout and views are great, this course is just way too hard for the average golfer. Greens were not holding approach shots. We had multiple holes with pin placements where the ball would roll back or farther from your original putt. Not a fun round unless you can hit your irons high and putt like a pro.

Great 36 hole place. I came at the wrong time of the year for one of the courses but the North course was in great shape. It was challenging, especially the uneven greens, but played great! I stayed at the resort there so got a discounted rate, worth every penny!
