I have worked with Blue Ribbon on and off for 4 years. I am a dispatcher for a trucking company but also own 4 trucks myself. We have recently just started working with them again. They have paid us our detention when due and have been doing what they say they will. I have always had a good relationship them and especially their broker Melissa. I expect continued success with them....
Great broker to deal with, they are interested in building partnerships with their carriers and they treat the carriers fairly. Definately not a bottom feeder broker. The rates are fair and as long as you communicate BEFORE heading into detention--as is industry standard- I have never had an issue being compensated for detention.
Brian Monroe is very nice guy to work with. I’m working with them for 2 years now, never had any issues. They pay you right when no one in the market is willing to pay decent.
Have been working with them for past 4 years. They are easy to work with and have never had a problem collecting detention. The only reason I give 4 stars is because I dont think there should be charge for checks that used to pay for lumpers and pallets.
Blue Ribben is a company which is found out to be dependable and responsible! And the most important thing is that they always do care of every single problem 24/7.Good job guys!!!
Adam J., Mellisa, Jake, Rusty, Hannah, Burt you guys are very amazing!!
Complete theives. Refused to pay $225.00 in detention fees resulting from a lengthy delay caused by their customer. Shipper loaded skids of fresh Pineapples in boxes incorrectly and a few cases were crushed from a skid tipping. Receiver rejected 3 cases and these ass clowns refused to pay any detention whatsoever. They are rude and dishonest people. I will never accept a load brokered from them again.
1 hour after booking a load with Byron Owen he canceled and said it wasnt going to be ready until the next day. When I requested TONU since the driver had deadheaded and was already at the shipper he said he didnt think an hour warrant TONU. I sent him a picture of the contract where it says they had to pay TONU but that didnt make a difference to him. I will no longer be hauling loads for Blue Ribbon Transport since they do not follow their own rules of the contract.
I haul for them and they are the best brokers Ive delt with.
Typical low-rent broker...you can smell them from a mile away. Case in point: the website lists an 800 # thats disconnected. That either means 1.) they couldnt pay the bill, or 2.) theyre too dense to update their website. They try to get out of QuickPay by stating that it must be agreed upon BEFORE the load delivers, even though their contract says nothing about this - nor does their QuickPay Addendum. The lady on the phone had no legit explanation for this.If they dont want to QuickPay, they should just be upfront.
The worst!!!!! All they do is lie lie lie!!!!! refuses to pay detention after promising that they will. They dont care how long a driver sits, because its not them or their truck!!!!!! Please all owner operators stay away from them!!!!!!!
At first the broker lie to me about the app time but In the end he paid me for the wait ..so not bad
Seems like Adam J is the only stand up guy in this company.
Avoid those scammers!
I like it
