This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with an apartment complex. If you’re looking for somewhere that’s quiet or an apartment complex that actually cares about the concerns of its tenants please look elsewhere. This place cares more about your proper trash disposal more so what they decided to do is install security cameras to catch people throwing away illegal items versus taking care of the security gate that was broken for months. Let’s not forget there is only one trash dumpster for the entire complex which is a nightmare. The walls are so thin you can hear conversations everywhere including music, kids running around above you, doors slamming hard everywhere. If you do decide to go with this complex for whatever odd reason at least live on the third floor there you might find some peace. If you were wise you would not move here at all and save yourself the headache.

Honestly, this is the only apartment complex I have lived at that I have EVER had anything positive to say about. Usually apartment complexes try to scam you with models that look nothing like the rooms, unfairly keeping large amounts of your deposit, inflating your renewal rates, and adding hidden costs. I had no such problems here. My apartment was in great shape and was exactly what I was expecting from my prior tour of the complex. When I renewed a 6 month lease, they did not try and inflate my rent. Any time a charge was wrong on my bill, they immediately corrected it when I called and inquired, and they fairly refunded my deposit when I moved out. Maintenance and staff are very friendly and do not show up unannounced to your apartment, and its a really quiet place to live. I wouldnt have moved if I hadnt been leaving the Huntsville area.

This review only pertains to the process of leasing up to actually moving in, which hasnt happened yet. Kate has been a very helpful, realistic person to work with. I say realistic because she doesnt set expectations that cant be met, and I like that. Weve been somewhat of a complicated client, trying to do a corporate lease. The team has always told the truth, always been responsive to communication. The grounds look beautiful. The apartment seems appropriately priced. I look forward to my time here.

Ive stayed here for several years. Overall, these apartments are decent for new comers and people fresh out of college. There are pros and cons as with anything anywhere. Ill start with the pros. This complex is conveniently located close to just about everything (except for way down South Parkway, but thats ok). The lighting is excellent at night. And the maintenance will usually respond to your requests within 24 hours. Amenities were cool when one could easily get access (pre-pandemic). Price is rather cheaper than other apartments in town. And the apartments are spacious. Now for the cons. I once had a major problem with my window leaking whenever it rains. Maintenance tried their best to fix it, but it wasnt working after over 10 tries. A contractor came out and fixed it. When I complained about the leakage, the manager at the time (maybe in 2017 or 18) laughed in my face. I was really trying to complain to corporate but for some reason, they pointed her to me. I would not recommend that you stay here if you have a low noise tolerance (biggest flaw and my reason for leaving, I couldnt stand the neighbors above me. Every day they were rearranging furniture and waking me up or disturbing my meetings). When you get extremely quiet, you can hear someones cell phone ring and their conversation and they werent even yelling (in another unit). You can even hear water going down the drain as well as every step someone takes on the staircase. So yes, they are cheaply built. Wear and tear happens so easily. And be careful, mold could appear in your closet. And you may have leakage behind the walls of your bathroom and closet. But itll get fixed.

If you are in the Federal Government/Active Duty Military do NOT choose Addison Park Apartments (Huntsville, AL). They will not inform you of your monetary losses based on your application process. Addison Park employees will only provide you with the basic information, but will not inform you of the hidden details behind your approved application. If you want to avoid complete monetary manipulation (-$300) be sure to avoid Addison Park Apartments (Huntsville, AL). Let’s just say, “I feel robbed, lied to, and manipulated.”

Moved here 3 years ago, and its been one of my best decisions. I absolutely love the location, security, amenities, and customer service to include quick turn around with requests. The staff makes you feel like family. I use the gym frequently which is one of the things I enjoy about this place; no gym membership. I have recommended this place to friends who have moved in and have experienced what I have told them. They too love it here. I love that it is clean, safe, have garages, lots of parking, and is dog friendly. Im staying for as long as I live in Hsv.

The leasing department act like they care for you while youre signing your lease and after a the first few times of stopping by; but after that, theyre incredibly rude and not helpful at all - they dont own up to their actions if questioned after the fact. The apartments seem very nice at first, but the walls are incredibly thin and they are very cheaply made. After deciding to move out, they do hit you with hidden fees - I was told I had to pay to replace the carpet after my dog was there for two years. They took my almost $500 refundable deposit (normal deposit and then pet) PLUS $300+ dollars I had to pay after the fact....who has to pay over $1k to replace carpet in a 2 bedroom apartment. The moving out process was the most infuriating and stressful situation Ive ever had to deal with - make sure you move out during a week day and do the walk through on a week day; even though theyre open on the weekends they refuse to do a walk through. None of this information was provided to me when giving my 30 days notice - just make sure you have all of your plans made a head of time otherwise they will not help you.

I have lived in this complex for a month now, and I cannot complain at all. The rooms are beautiful. The lighting at night makes the complex look like a resort. Whitney, Amanda, Michael, and the rest of the staff are extremely friendly and respectful. I highly recommend this apartment complex. Also, everything is within a few minutes (driving).

Initially I thought the facility was well kept and landscaping was amenable! But over time you will notice the apartments are really cheap, and wear and tare happens pretty fast. Ceiling and floors are extremely to thin, you can hear the tenants above walking to the bathroom. Not a bad complex, just doesnt compare to others.

My boyfriend and I have been living in a third floor Addison park apartment for almost 7 months now. So far, I dont really have too many complaints. When we were apartment hunting, I felt that Addison had the most reasonable rates, especially for how nice the apartments are inside. We have made a few maintenance requests and they were completely in a timely manner. I only had an issue with noisy neighbors once, and I called the cops and that seemed to solve the problem. My only real complaints are regarding the amount of dog poop that is ALL OVER the complex as well as the smokers (as this is to be a smoke free complex). I wish they could police this better. Overall, Id recommend Addison park.

I went into the office with several inquiries and was treated very cold and disrespectfully. At first I assumed the individual I spoke to was just rude but later heard from a coworker that Addison Park is well known for not liking African Americans. When we pulled up at the complex we had the windows rolled down and overheard a lady who works there say she is “tired of renting out apartments to these colored people” and walked back into the office. A white man who witnessed this told us not to worry that the manager of the property is just a you know what. These are trying times for us in America and I wont live in a complex where a manager/ office staff is biggot, taking my hard earned money elsewhere..

This apartment complex is a great value. I rented the two bedroom craftsman select and the kitchen is fantastic. If you like to cook, this unit is for you. My neighbors were fairly quiet and there is plenty of parking near my unit. The unit was very large and quite reasonably priced.Keana, and everyone else at the leasing office, have been awesome. They showed me around and answered all of my questions.I do have a couple of complaints. There is one large trash compactor near the middle of the complex, which cycles after the door is closed three times. Many people dont close the door, which means that sometimes trash starts to pile up. PLEASE close the door after depositing your garbage.Second, the pool isnt open in early spring and late fall. The weather around Huntsville can be very warm during these months and it would be nice to use the pool.Overall, these two complaints did not affect me very much, which is why they only cost one star.

They also are not running the facilities staff well.A friend of mine was moving in recently and called for the non-smoking apartment room to be cleaned because it smelled like smoke and the attendants at the front desk stated it would be assessed in an hour. Well a few hours later nothing happened so we called them and asked again and in the middle of the conversation they hung up on us.Like I said nice apartments but not be surprised if the staff is a bit rude.

I was sent in as a secret shopper to investigate if the things reported were true, and on BOTH occasions her attitude was the same. I cannot blame anyone for not wanting to rent here. I dont care how beautiful and affordable your apartment homes are, if the office staff is not friendly and helpful, and profiles based on the way someone looks, its a no go for me, as Im sure it would be for anyone else. Ive been at Addison almost 2 years now, and I can say this is by far the best apartment complex Ive ever lived in. When I had trouble with my AC, they fixed it in a very timely manner. The same goes for all other maintenance issues that Ive had - all fixed within 12-24 hours. Management is great, and the location is great as well. The apartments themselves are extremely spacious, fairly new, and the appliances are great. One last note - these comments about Addison Park being racist are extremely false. I live around people of all different colors and we get along exceptionally well. If you are a respectful human who wants to be a friendly neighbor, you are welcome here regardless of your sex, religion or race.

I lived here for almost two years. The apartment was decent, can hear a lot of noise from neighbors but nothing my fiance any I couldnt live with. Over the summer we happened across an opportunity we could not pass up to purchase our first house and requested to break the lease. We went in and signed the acknowledgement and paid the required fee and were told that we would be responsible for the rent until the apartment was rented out. We had about 7 months left and while this was not ideal, we thought it was reasonable given we were breaking the lease. Once we moved out I was told that we had to pay the rent as normal and if was rented that month we would not get any refund back. This is illegal as I found out later. The first month after we moved out I was out of town and discovered that they had stopped my ability to pay the rent online as I had when I lived there. I had to get a family member from out of town to drive up and pay the rent while I was out of town on business. Once I returned I went to speak to the manager Whitney to find out why this was the case as well as discuss the bill I was sent for the entire rent of my apartment, the garage, and late fees for rent that was not yet due. This was also marked Due Upon Receipt. Given our previous discussions as to how we would handle the lease break, I was more than a little distressed at this large bill. While meeting with Whitney I was told that the bill didnt mean I had to pay it right now, that it was just how they had to handle things... A note explaining this would have went a long way or perhaps explaining this when I turned in the keys. I was then told that we would in a fact get a partial refund which was good news! The next month our apartment was rented. This was fantastic news, we would finally get back the deposit money and partial rent. Given the fact we just purchased a house, this was a great blessing as we could really use it. So recently, I get my final statement that shows our credit balance minus all the rent money for the garage for the remainder of the lease. The garage was an addendum to the lease and when I asked to keep the garage previously for an additional month I was told that is impossible because it is part of the apartment lease. So they have now taken $525 of refund to pay for a garage I cannot access without explanation. I have called repeatedly and the manager is always in meetings and never returns my call. At this point I would not recommend this place to anyone as there seem to be some shady practices going on and the management leaves something to be desired.

I would first like to commend Mr. Dan for an outstanding job on showing us the property and also actually gaining two new prospective tenants . However, Ms. Amanda ( left front desk right when you walk in ) I believe is her name , profiled me and my sister and did things that were absurd and left us with no explanation. She told us some things that were false until we verified the information at Addison Parks sister apartments Ashbury Woods. She also lied and said under no circumstances will they take a guarantor if you arent accepted due to both income and credit .She kept our applications on file and copys of our drivers license and social security but never ran our information for actual verification. I was told that the manager here request that forms are kept on file in which I understand, but only if they were actually verified and ran for background checks. I will not be returning here and wouldnt recommend anyone to go there unless you want to feel uncomfortable and lied too.

Addison park apartments are nice. I never had any issues until I decided to buy a house and break my lease. The two realtors I had been working with in the home buying process had come to an agreement with Addison park apartments and Whitney the property manager and Linda the regional manager that theyd take a settlement amount of money of $3,300 to get me out of my lease and I was to move out no later then January 31st. As time had gotten closer to January 31st Ive gotten several calls from the apartment manager Whitney asking me when I would like to schedule my walk through since it was getting close to January 31st and I was to be out by then. Well, me and Whitney had gone around and around because the loan we had gotten wasnt going to be ready until two days into February. I had asked Whitney if we could prorate the rent and her response was unfortunately no. I would have to pay the full months rent. After being upset I reached out to the regional manager via email and never got a response back from her but got a phone call back from Whitney stating that she wasnt confused because I had emailed her regional manager after me and her had talked. Very unprofessional in my eyes. Linda shouldve responded back to me. Anyways, Whitney made me resign my lease until the end of February in order to accept the settlement money which I offered them a new amount of $2,480 and it was accepted. February 1st 2017 I turned over the check of $3,300 to Addison park apartments which included my February rent and settlement money and did my walk through. Today February 14th I received a bill in the mail for almost $900.00. I have lived in this apartment for almost two years (it wouldve been two years in June). They had charged me for broken blind, PRIMER for the wall, carpet to be replaced and told me my cabinets in the kitchen needed to be realigned. Today I called Whitney and asked if my apartment was rented and she told me no it hasnt been and when it does get rented I wont be getting back my Februarys rent. Which Im almost 99.9% sure that is illegal. I guess Ill just have to see Addison park in small claims court. I would never ever recommend Addison park to anybody. I paid them $3,300 and that wasnt good enough for them. STAY AWAY.!

This apartmment complex is roughly 3 years old and is still growing. Its absolutely beauitiful, it offers granite counter tops in some, garden style tubs, car wash, fire pit by the pool. Only place that I could find a nice 2 bedroom and bath under $1,000. So heres the problem, the leasing consultant may profile you, so you wont be able to live here. My first visit about 3 months ago was great, a guy named Micheal showed us 3 of the 2 bedrooms. At that time, my boyfriend and I were both looking for new jobs. So we waited until we knew for sure we could afford this place we both loved. Well, about a week ago, we went by trying to see if we qualifiied. We both only had 2 pay stubs each ,but had about 3 weeks to move so we asked what we could do. We were told to subsitute the third required pay stub with a LETTER OF EMPLOYMENT. At that visit we were also informed that we must submit both the application fee and security deposit at the same time. So we each get letters and provided $380 in money orders. However, this visit we were told we must submit a JOB OFFER LETTER or wait a week and submit our third pay stubs. So I dont know about you, but that seems backwards because it would have made more sense that the JOB OFFER letter be rejected for the LETTER OF EMPLOYMENT as both state the exact same information except one letter states you were OFFERED the POSITION while the second states you ARE EMPLOYED at your business of work. At this point my boyfriend wanted to abandon the idea of living here. I on the other hand, recognized something was weird, but thought well maybe they just want the three pay stubs. So we wait a week to return on yesterday. This time we were told both craftsman ($860) units were now rented and we had the option to wait til november or shoot for a craftsman premier($880). So both ocasions when I tried to fill out the money orders I was told to wait. Now currently I work part time for $8. So.... 8 × 20= 160, 160 x 4.3 = 688. My boyfriend makes 14.52 x 40 = 580.80, 580.80 x 4.3= 2497.44. So collectively bring in $3,185.44 a month (without my tips and his overtime), you have to make 33% of the rent to reside here, now $880 x 3.3 = $2,904. Now I know im only a graduate student studying to be a scientist but $3,185.44>$2,904 correct?!? Well Amanda told us ever so sweetly with a smile on her face we DID NOT qualify for ANY 2 bedroom here. The traditional is $850 by the way. So now we have 2 weeks to find a new place. I started not to write this because I figured this would make me the type of person Amanda thought I was, but then I thought no write it, because people need to know.
