I’ve been using their service for about 2 months now. They told us they were changing our day. They never come to get our garbage ever though. Our entire street has had garbage lining the road for the last week. Rodents are have become a problem. This isn’t just me, this is an entire street. There are people with babies, hence used diapers in garbage. This is unacceptable

The absolute WORST trash service I have ever used. Back in the spring they did not pick up our trash for over a month. I had to call the public service commission. Today makes 2 weeks since my last pickup, I have no more room in my cans with maggots everywhere. Looks like its back to the PSC because because they have the monopoly on trash service in the area. Local lady on the phone was extremely nice and apologetic, but mananagement stated there had been no delays in my service, or any missed pickups, and she had no record of my previous calls. Beyond disappointing.

They will not pick up our trash. I keep scheduling missed pickups and they never come to get it. They are terrible. I pay for a service and do not receive it. My bill is paid on time and their online service, phone, and app doesn’t work. They also say I haven’t paid my bill when it’s my neighbors who don’t and that I should just pay their bill too! Ridiculous!

On trash pickup day my trash was left in the bin with an orange sticker placed stating that the yard conditions around the bin were unsafe and the grass needs mowed. I pay to have my yard mowed and it is done very well every week. Ive affixed a picture of what they have deemed unsafe and it is a large weed growing from the bin. Customer service was contacted and they apologized and said they would send someone back out. The trash was never picked up and upon the second call to customer service they stated the crew stated it was still unsafe due to lawn conditions and that was after the weeds growing form the bin was removed. I understand the bin is not in great shape and if that is the issue then so be it and tell me and dont leave a no pick up notice for issues that are not an issue. We have since switched to a competing service and will not be returning.

They did not pick up our garbage for 20 days. Every time we call they said we are sending a truck. They can not tell the truth they only say what they think we want to hear. I spoke with a driver andHe said they know they can not sendATruck the next day because the truck will not be in the same area the next day. Then they blocked mine and my neighbors number. When I got thru on another number they hung up on me 4 times.

They have only come 2x in 5 weeks. This is week 6. When we called about missed pickups, they were supposed to come get it that day or the next. They never showed. My husband called last Fri and was told they would be out that day to pick it up. They didnt come out. I called back on Monday and they were supposed to be out by today to pick it up, plus a supervisor was supposed to call me back. No one called, no one came. The neighbors and mailman are both mad about our trash our front. Both our cans are full and theres 7 bags on our porch! We are a family of 5 and require trash service!!!

We are very pleased with the services we recieved. Our rep. Amy Boggess was awesome! She definitely took good care of us. We filled 5 40yd dumpsters! And they never missed a beat! Their drivers were very accommodating and friendly ! We will definitely be using them in the future. I would highly recommend them!

Terrible service if there was an option 0 stars they would have got it. There customer service is garbage which is ironic because everything about them is garbage. The whole business is just garbage. No pun intended. If you just want to give your money away give it to charity.

We have had our ups and downs with service. When I was able to get in contact with an actual local person, ashely, that made a world of difference. Service isnt 100% but I know I can get ahold of her and get an answer and/or help getting the stink/trash removed.

They have missed our pick up more than they pick up. I am extremely frustrated that I pay for a weekly service and if I am lucky I get it once a month.

They picked up our trash on June 10th and the 24th then again on June 28th it is now July 12th and they have not bothered to pick up the trash in our neighborhood. I have called abd they keep saying they are going to send someone out but they dont

My brother who was in a bad car wreck and partially disabled attempted to get a garbage can brought to the house he’s renting. He was promised a can on may 3rd. The can never showed up, we called, and called, and called, and called. Explained more times than I care to count that the can never arrived. They kept telling us it would be coming. It’s been over a month keep getting the run around. Because of my brothers limited mobility trash was piling up in his house and it was getting him sick. I had to come down from Minnesota to help him get the trash out of his home and we still have no way to get rid of it. This has legitimately been the worst customer service experience in my entire life. This company has a 1.7 star rating for a reason. They do not care about customers and if you have the option to work with someone else do it. If I could give 0 stars I would. I hope someone from corporate or Human Resources sees this and reaches out.

The call center is great, but they’re in Indiana, they can’t do much about the drivers not picking up your trash besides report it to the center. The center obviously doesn’t check the messages. Don’t expect a call back after complaining either. Managers do not know how to talk on the phone apparently.

Has not picked up in my neighborhood for a month. I understand weather has been bad for a couple weeks. But it has been excellent weather for the last 2 weeks, still no pick up. There is no ice or trees down on our road. No excuse. Other than laziness. But you better believe they want me to pay that bill!!

We have had our trash out for a month. Animals are getting in it and we have to re bag every other night. This is unacceptable. And this is not the first incident we’re lucky to get ourTrash picked up on a regular schedule we have to call and beg. This is the worst company ever. I pay my bill early every month and yet I get a message on my answer machine that I am two weeks behind. That is impossible I have my bank records to prove it. I will be calling the public service commission and then if it’s not resolved I will go door-to-door And get everyone to change to the other trash company. Get it fixed!!!!!!!

During the storm we understand that it cannot always be picked up. However, once the snow was gone and there was no reason for the pick up to be missed, they missed the pick up on our entire street. I called and asked for a pick up and they said they would credit me for 2 weeks there was no pick up.... GUESS WHAT?? No pick up till the 3rd week and NO CREDIT as promised. They really are a waste to be called because they do as they want, not as we pay for a service.

For the past 4 months they fail to pick up my garbage. My garbage can is setting beside the road in full visibility. My neighbors can is maybe 20 feet from mine and they get his. We have called to report it each time. We are told a supervisor will call us back. Also they tell us they will have someone come back and pick it up. But neither one happens. This company has the worst customer service. I could understand it if I didnt pay my bill. But I am paying for a service I am not receiving.

Our apartment complex has this service. They did not pick up on then normal pick up day. I, the property manager, have called 4 times (one call per day for 4 days...) they promise to pick up, can’t tell me why they didn’t pick up, and our bill is paid. Still not picked up and holiday is two days away now. Dumpster is over filled. And I can’t get anything done. They will not let me talked to manager/supervisor and they tell me someone will call in 24hrs and trash will be picked up that day..but none of this happenPatton place Apts Winfield wvI would definitely not recommend this device to anyone. This is not the 1st time we’ve had trouble with them picking up!!!

Have missed weekly scheduled trashed pickups at least 3 out of the last 5 scheduled days and in spite of telling me they would be made up they haven’t been. I now have 3 weeks of trash waiting to get collected.

Currently raising the monthly bill but doing half the work. When you call to get something extra picked up and are willing to pay for it they don’t do it. It will go weeks before anything that’s not in a trash bag will be picked up. Lousy service. If a lot of their workers hate the job so bad just quit.

By far and away the worse service and customer relations I have ever seen. Three weeks no garbage pick up in the heat and the middle of JULY. Sadly enough this happens every year at this time as employees take vacation. Even drivers later tell us later this is the reason. Numerous calls by all residents in our subdivision do absolutely no good, speaking to supervisors no good, promises made and are not kept. We have no alternative but to contact our state authorities and the health department as it is a true health hazard....

In the past 4 weeks my garbage has been picked up once. Have called numerous times only to be told that they dont know why they didnt show up. Every time i call they schedule for another pick up but never show up. This has been going on for at least the past year. If there was another company in the area i would have switched to them a long time ago. They sure do take my money on time every month though. Guess when youre the only company avaliable you can have horrible service because people cant go anywhere else. Ridiculous

My family cancelled service in 2016 and continued to be auto billed for months. We have been trying for 5 months to get this resolved. Keep getting the run around. Claims that it’s escalated to a senior advocate yet no one ever contacts us. Five stars because the people locally in Huntington I am in-person talking with have been the best. Truly. Republic call centers have all been great people, too. That said, communication of the right information is lacking from call centers to the local facilities - if not altogether absent.

First they have failed to pick up in weeks, then I get a letter that they are planning on raising rates. Plus they dont even offer recycling here. Would switch to a different company if any were available in my area.

I had an incident on I64 near Milton WV where one of the Republic trucks was directly in front of me and something came off the truck, hitting my windshield and breaking it. I called them within the hour to report it, and they said someone would return my call “shortly.” It took four phone calls & pictures of the damage sent to them before I got any kind of response - which was over a week later! The adjuster wanted to know if I took a picture. Really? On interstate going 70 mph, he wanted me to break the law & get out my cell phone to take a picture while driving? He wanted a truck number. Sure, lets tailgate on interstate get that for you. Or better yet, let me drop my plans and follow you to your destination to show Im not lying about the incident. They should have been able to locate which truck it was with the date, time, and place the incident happened. Are they not able to track their own trucks with that information? Why don’t they have cameras on their trucks so they can see what is happening in lieu of denying the claims for “lack of evidence.” Im cancelling my service with them today, and I hope others read this and do the same. Its pretty bad when I dont even want them to touch my garbage!

I have had service with this company for about 20 years . Price keeps going up . I missed a couple payments due to no work or unemployment due to covid 19. So they did not pick up my trash .I will be taking my business to a company who values 20 years of faithful customers..

Called to set up monthly roll off dumpster, paid $620 for first month, had full crew ready on day of drop off - no show. Ensured they would drop it off next day, have guys on the clock waiting again - no show.Ill take my business elsewhere. Waste of money having guys on the clock waiting for nothing. They cant even reach their own dispatch. What a joke.

We have contacted their So called Customer Service multiple times regarding their failure to pick up our trash and we keep getting told they will reschedule us for a missed pick up on Wednesday. Well 3 weeks later they have failed to pick up the trash. We are going on week 6 now that they have missed collecting out trash. But they do not hesitate to debit our account for the “Service Provided”. Total lack of care for the customer who pays their bills. When you bring this to their attention, the response is “ We are doing the best we can to resolve the issue”. It is truly unfortunate that this is the best service that they can offer a loyal customer. If you have another option, I would suggest you go that route.

Waiting 2 weeks on a trash can was guaranteed to finally have it today but guess what no trash can not wasting my time with this company anymore couldnt tell you how good there service is because they never made it here calling different company someone who wants are business. Well, this trash service is TRASH! Paid to have my roll off emptied next day, called at noon day of to ensure that everything was on schedule and I was told it would arrive. Called at 3 and was told it would arrive. Called at 5 and was told sorry there was nothing that could be done and it would be picked up the following Monday. Five guys on the clock all day waiting for this to happen, now I’m at a loss because these people blew smoke all day, could have just let my people go for the day and saved hundreds. And what will be done, nothing!

Republic Services missed picking up my trash twice in one month. I called everyday and everyday I was told it was scheduled to be picked up the next day. It wasn’t picked up until the next regular pickup. Now a week later my trash was missed again. I have again called everyday. More promises, no service. I asked to speak to a manager. I was told someone would call me later in the day. No call. I called the next day and asked to speak to a manager. I was put on hold. No one answered. This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. I only gave them one star because I didn’t have an option for anything lower.

Trash is consistently NOT picked up. We call, they say they will put us on the next scheduled day... It has been picked up maybe 3 out of 8 times after I have called. My 86 yr old grandfather pays his bill on time every single month. This negligence and horrible service has raised his anxiety and stress level numerous times and its ridiculous when we do our part to make sure our trashis put outtrash is put out on the correct days and well witgin the time frame !

Im sorry to see Im not the only one disatisfied with these idiots. Nothing but a bunch of liars. I would write more, but I have to go pickup my trash for the third time since the dogs have gotten into it.

After my surgery, the serviceman came on my front porch and got my garbage out of the bin for me and took it to the truck. I really appreciate that.

We have nothing but problems out of this company! Everyone at the call center is extremely polite and tried to be helpful but is unable to make anything happen at the route end of the business. After starting up service it took us 6 calls and 2 supervisors 2 WEEKS to get a trash can! RIDICULOUS! They told us repeatedly that it would be delivered that day only to have it never show up and be told delivery was resceduled.

Their service is terrible! My street was completely missed last week. After several calls- was told each time it would be collected today- I asked to speak to someone in charge I’m still waiting for a call and my trash to be collected Don’t have much hope for either’

The service SUCKS. I have called 3 times about a bulk pickup. I get the same answer, We will pick it up by the end of the business day. The items are still sitting by the trash bin. I know Customer Service can do so much but there is no reason the ones who pick up the trash cant get it if it is scheduled to be picked up. Also they fly on our road and they hardly pick up my neighbors trash or pick up a few bags. I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE!!!!!. I would change services but this is the only ones that pick up in my area.

Initiated service in November 2017. Have not had reliable service at all. Customer service says theyll contact you with a resolution and you never hear from them. Monopoly of service as there is not another service provider in my area.

Republic drivers dont pick up trash that should be picked up at the curb. Republic workers dont do the job they are paid to do. Republic phone operators are rude, crude and socially unacceptable. #boycottrepublicwaste. I will get to the bottom of this corrupt organization who are paid to do a service for the public and are not doing their jobs as stated by the PSC. THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION WILL BE NOTIFIED ABOUT THEIR DERELICTION OF DUTY TO THE PUBLIC.

Horrible, they charge you and dont pick up your trash

This place picks up at apartments next door to my house. The past 3 weeks they don’t return the bins to the designated area as they always used to do. They leave two on the public sidewalk and one in MY yard. Called twice to complain with promises that a “route manager” will call me back within 48 hours but they never do.

Horrible services! I moved and cancelled my services over 2 months ago. Despite several calls the account is still open and the driver continues to stop. Fighting for a refund and to have 2 months of bills reversed, but that is taking forever.

They forget to pick up my trash charged me for a trash can that didnt get delivered for over a month and only ones offering service in my area I cant stand this company they stink.
