BUYER BEWARE!! NOT HONEST! NOT PROFESSIONAL! RUINED MY DECK!I hired Ricky from Rickys Power washing to power wash my deck.After he inspected the deck he advised me that not only did the deckneed cleaning, but it also needed to be sealedand he could do that as well. He showed me a book of colors, and I picked a very light beige semi solid color.He told me it would cost $450 for everything, power washing, sanding and staining. He also asked me to pay him upfront for the materials, I paid him $150.He power washed the deck, let it dry for a day, then came back to supposedly sand and stain. He had an assistant with him that was doing the work.He didnt realize it but I was home working and watching and hearing everything they where doing.I watched his assistant put ONE nail into a board that was loose.There was absolutely no sanding at all. I tell you this because he claims he fixed the deck and didnt charge me for that.She then proceeded to stain the deck. The contents in the bucket where a bright blue. She started to paint the deck and it was blue.I then complained and asked why it was so blue, that I wanted beige, and he told me not to worry It would dry the color that I wanted.She did 3/4 of the deck and then ran out of stain and said they would come back the next day to finish. He asked mefor more money because he needed another bucket of stain, another $50.So now the job would be $500 not $450 as originally quoted.So they came back the next day and completed the deck. This batch was even more blue and did not match the rest of the deck as bad as it was.So not only was it the wrong color but was completely sloppy, unprofessionally done, uneven in color, and there where drips everywhere even on the soil off the deck.I continued to complain that it was very blue. He againreassured me to wait two days until its fully dry and I would see it would turn the color I wanted.I paid him.I texted after two days that it was extremely blue and now dry. I told him this is not what I wanted and he used an oil based paint so it was now deep into the grooves of the wood.Its completely ruined and all I can do is paint the deck now which is not what I wanted in the first place!First, he lied and told me that it would dry the color that I wanted, then he tried to blame the paint store that they gave him the wrong color. Then he lied and said he wasnt the owner of the company even thought his name is Ricky. He then told me he would fix it, that he could do a better jobthen his assistant/owner. Why would I want him to fix it? He ruined it in the first place.I went to the paint store and showed them a picture of the can of stain he bought and it was completely the wrong color. They told me the only thing I could do was to paint over it.I got a second opinion and was told this was an awful job and it was sloppy, messy and they would never leave a homeowner with a job done like that.I cant strip the deck because I have beautiful hydrangeas on the side of my deck that would die because stripping material is so toxic!I called him and told him I wanted my money back and we settled on $350 back.He now wont answer my texts or calls and I have not gotten any refund as he promised.I now need to go hire someone else and spend another $500 to fix my deck that is completely ruined because of them!

Met with Ricky this week and received a quote for powerwashing as well as some work on our deck. He gave a good price and Im very happy with the quality of the work done. I would certainly use his service again. Give him a call, he was a nice guy and his crew does good work.

Tricky Ricky should be his name! I would never recommend himfor a job because after he power washed my patio and deck herecommended regrouting the pavers. He did a sloppy job -- chargedme for materials after I gave him a $300.00 deposit which he toldme was for materials. He didnt apply the $300.00 and then chargedme even more money for materials. I called him a number of timesto let him know that he needs to come back and clean up the mess he made of my patio. He also did a poor job on staining my porch.No excuse for this!He powerwashed my airconditioning unit which I did NOT ask him to do resulting in me having to fix it for another $275.00.I am writing this only because he never returned my call (after paid, of course), and if he would have come back and taken care of the sloppy job I would have let it all go.I would NOT recommend him for a job ever.Trust me, I wont be calling him again!
