I love it here- clean gym, lots of machines, rarely is it ever slam packed busy. Solid community and the staff is really friendly. I’ll be coming back here for a while

Very weird experience w “property manger” at abt 9:15 today.i’m a nomad and i’ve been on the road the six months and have been through 24 states and i’ll be staying in so cal for winter, but i digress. i joined pf bc of their ample locations and the fact it gave me a safe parking lot to use if i needed to rest.anyways so I work third shift doing food delivery and typically come to the gym at night after 2 am. i am clean and do not bother anyone but today i woke up to a man at my car window a camera poking through the cracked part. it was very odd and he didn’t introduce himself until i asked him “who the hell are you” there were other cars parked by me but he chose to only approach me from what i could tell it was very odd. if he is a legitimate property manager maybe offer a training bc as a woman that was a serious red flag to me.

Amazing , great work out equipment, never waiting to use anything , super clean awesome staff, and dont forget the hydro chairs and the tanning booth, also has a very large bathroom/ changing area along with showers and even blow dryers. Lockers are also available .A++

I have never been to a public gym before. The staff was welcoming and friendly. When I told them I had never been before, she said to ask if I had any questions. The gym had people working out everywhere but it was not overly crowded. Staff was cleaning machines and equipment as I ran on the elliptical and the place seems good for a home gym. I am glad I went and Ill be back.

They terminated my membership because my mask fell beneath my nose! The kids that work there are not fit and havent worked out a day in their life. I told them that Im fully vaccinated and no one was even 10 ft from me when my mask was pulled down. I told them that I value my health more than their policy. They dont care so if youre thinking about getting a membership, dont bother.

Decent gym, especially for the price. But why is the music so loud?? Everyone wears earbuds/headphones. The only thing it does is compete with the music you’re listening to.

So they say judgement free at this Gym yet they have this stupid quote on the wall making fun of someone. Sound like a idiotic paradox to me. If you really want to market and try and be different start out by not being a hypocrite.

I tried calling and canceling my membership back in February becauseI do not feel safe going to a gym at this time. The representative informed me that I am not able to cancel my membership over the phone and that I need to come to the gym to cancel or send a letter. I sent a letter telling them that I want to cancel my membership. They did not receive it ( I think they are lying). This company proceeded to not only charge me the monthly fee, but they charged me a renewal fee as well! When I called today to explain what happened to the manager, Sara Fajardo, she refused to refund me and was very rude. I explained to her that I have not been to the gym in over a year, and she did not care. Terrible, these people are crooks, beware!

I like these guys these types of health clubs fit my lifestyle sometimes I pop in late sometimes Im just out and about and I need one and they seem to be all over the place like cats. Ive got the black card that gets me in every club and its like 25 a month you cant beat the deal.

I’m going to put my membership on hold! Why do I have to work out with a disgusting dirty face mask when I am sweating! The sweaty face mask will hold more germs And do more harm to your health . Even their corporate website says you should not work out with a mask, but for some ridiculous reason they want to enforce that in this gym! No thanks! Mask free while you workout!!!! If people are so scared of Covid stay home!

Great facility, cant beat the dues extremely clean and the employees are freindly and recently one of them went way out of her way to help me with a situation I was having. Hey, Ive talked to management about the Wi-Fi and we have to use coming sense practices when using public wi-fi Im certain there is active hacking on their system.

Joined just after this location of Planet Fitness opened, and went to get some cardio at least three times a week until closed due to the pandemic. Looking forward to seeing it reopen...hopefully soon. Great location...and clean.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. I took a membership when I was visiting just before lockdown happened and all the clubs closed. I SPECIFICALLY said I was VISITING so wanted a membership for 1 month,. I didnt even get a chance to go to the gym because they closed immediately after I got my membership because of Covid, basically paid for nothing. I asked to cancel my membership several times, membership was never cancelled and I kept getting charged several months, called the club, the manager several times, to cancel and get a refund, they said its not possible to get a refund, poor customer service, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND, this is ripping people off.

I was really hoping you guys would open for the start of the New Year! There are a couple smaller gyms open in my area and they are all requiring substantial enrollment and activation fees. Even the ones with deals are still going to be expensive just to sign up. Then some have cancellation fees, and others go month to month. I dont want to learn a new layout. I want to go to my favorite gym guys! Please open so I dont have to pay these expensive one-time non-refundable fees just to be there for a few months. It takes a few months to really get in the swing of a new routine anyway.

Got in a great total body workout. Staff was friendly and the gym was clean. Ive been to planet fitness locations in Las Vegas, Cerritos, Hemet, Huntington Beach, and every single one has been great.

I like this Planet Fitness in HB, clean, quiet and you dont get that pesky sales fitness trainer hitting you up every 15 minutes rudely interrupting your workout. Staff here are wonderful and helpful.

Good workout and clean and all but i called last week to check the mask policy before i got my membership and they said it was masks required unless actively working out and the website said masks required only when not actively workingout unless otherwise stated but when i got here i was told masks required at all times.

They were supposed to have cancelled my membership back in February. I just got charged a monthly and annual fee and called as soon as it appeared on my card. And now they refuse to refund. The front desk personnel said she has no power gave me a number. Then called the number and the department said they have to receive the okay from the location FIRST and then will issue the refunds. Then I can back and speak to the same lady again, and she knew the process refused to refund and here we are. Thanks to the owner for allowing this even after the mess up on the gyms part.

Rip off artists! Do not sign up for this gym because they will overcharge and make it difficult to cancel. I tried to cancel during the covid lockdown by following their website instructions: I sent a certified letter to their facility requesting cancellation. They did suspend my auto monthly dues but once they reopened they starting charging me again and especially the annual $40 fee. After repeated requests for reimbursement but at the location and to the area manager, , they have yet to acknowledge my email requests. Not even a simple no would be better than being ignored. Greedy and not customer oriented.

I started PT a month ago and its time to pump up the cardio. I only use this gym for 5am stairmaster sessions, but its perfect for that! Very clean, touchless checkin and lots of space to social distance.

Yes, ignore the negative comments here. The staff are perfectly fine and keep the place quite clean. Really like the non-pompous environment, and there is a good variety of equipment. I just wish I would have given them a shot sooner. Had no idea about their theme but just kept driving by since they opened. The theme is perfect for those just wanting to get it done and not worrying much about others there. And the next observation has nothing to do with PF, but its so funny to see people with their smart phones while working out. Geez, folks, really?

Working out by myself with a mask on...is a joke! Canceling membership until they come to their senses.

This location will let you not wear a mask as long as you have a doctors note. Their sign in the front saying Mask are required at all times is a lie. Come in with a doctors, real or fake they dont care, and youll be able to walk around freely.

Very rude, very unprofessional staff. I have seen and experienced staff intentionally walk directly into the path of guests, physically challenging guests to move out of their way. I have seen and experienced staff intentionally lie to guests and talk about guests in a negative way. The staff seem to enjoy rolling their eyes at guests and act condescendingly towards guests who need to ask questions. There are a few male staff members that always have threatening looks on their face. At this Planet Fitness it is not the guests that judge you, the judgement and uncomfortable atmosphere comes directly from the staff.After 3 months I left and joined another local gym.

This place doesn’t deserve one star. The staff (especially the manager ( general manager)) judges you and makes fun of you. I thought this place was supposed to be judgement free zone. I also witnessed the guys who work there hid on every girl that works or works out there at planet fitness. Not a gym. JUST A JUDGEMENT ZONE.

I love it!! My first time ever going to the gym and I’m so glad this was my first choice. Very clean and great atmosphere. You come in and do your thing; plus all the perks of being a black card member you can’t beat it!

I adore the staff here. Ive tried others and literally vowed to never go back. They are always friendly, always helpful and it helps that the gym itself is never overly crowded. I wish they had spinning classes or aerobic/dance workout classes... And a sauna or steam room would be ideal... So for that 4 stars. But other than that I have no complaints. I wish it were the one closer to my house.

I have belong to many gyms many more elaborate but Planet Fitness is a well-run organization ...clean ...nice people and and the equipment always works and is maintained. The other bonus is electric massage, tanning and red light therapy which cost more then $50 a month at certain salons.... best bargain ever.... do the black card membership its a great deal for $10 per month.

This is my home gym and I love it the employees are cool I go in the middle of the night from 12 till 2am and maybe if its busy there will be two more people its great and works for my schedule thats Sunday through Thursday Friday they close at 10pm and Sat/Sun they close at 7 but reopen at midnight Sunday. Reasonable monthly fees and get the black card you also get full use of massage chairs and tanning booths and trainers get going what are you waiting for?

I love love love love my gym. Great classes, friendly staff, dogs chillin in the front. Its the best.

Febreze doesnt just mask, it eliminates odors you have gone nose blind too.Please stop playing this adalso can you guys open earlier on Saturdays like 6?

Cant beat the price for the value the only thing would make it better is unlimited use of far infrared light and vibrating machine body enhancement

This place is incredible. All the equipment is new and works extremely well. Staff is super friendly and the patrons are attitude free, very refreshing for a gym. Highly recommended the hydro massage beds!

Super cheap memberships. Thats most likely the most appealing part about them. That being said, Ive never had any problems here whatsoever. They have all the equipment you need. Weights, machines, areas to do pullups/Calisthenics, and if you are a black card member, they have some chair/water massages and tanning booths.I was originally afraid that the sole purpose there was to appeal to people only losing weight, but it caters to both weight loss and muscle building. Free classes on top of that if you sign up a day or so ahead.

Finally a gym thats open 24 hours during the week and no idiots at 4am.

New gym! You can still see the tread on the treadmills! I love the fact that people use the 30 minute workout section properly and dont sit at machines through multiple cycles like at other locations. The people are very friendly and helpful and there are usually plenty of open machines!

Been coming to this location since November, only real complaints are the drinking fountain needs updated badly to fill standing water bottles.... And the ridiculously early closing time on Saturday and Sunday.....okay 24 hours might not be necessary but they could definitely push it out till 10 p.m.!!

Planet Fitness at Buena Park has the great people working their. All happy in the mornings when I go to work out. Give them all a pay rise!!!

Great gym, never crowded, no wait for machines or benches ever and super cheap...all this is great. However, Im here 5 days a week, sometimes have to use showers and the mens locker room/shower areas are filthy and not maintained at all. Theres been the same pile of trash in corner of shower for 3 days, sinks havent been cleaned in a couple days either, and the locker room can be a homeless hangout at times. Wish theyd maintain the facilities better. Then it would be a 5 star establishment.

If you come before 7am bring noise cancelling headphones. The music is BLARING until about 7am. Way too loud IMO (but at least its good music!)Also the squat racks are weird - no free bar. But at least theres plenty of space and machines and its a clean facility with friendly staff.

#JUDGED! I was told I couldn’t do dynamic stretches and drills. I even asked if I there was a compromise like me staying in a corner away from everyone and was denied. If you’re going to claim to have a no judgment and open-minded policy, I think you should stand by it. Anybody out there who’s not into lifting but more into movement like dancing, twirling, shadow boxing, wrestlers, bjj guys, etc, you’ve been warned. So much for a “judgment free” zone.

I like this club. I have a very flexible schedule so I dont know how it is when its crowded but it has most of the things that I would like. There is a couple of things I would improve;; better hamstring machine and the better back extension machine but all in all, it is quite complete. I do machines and free weights and theres a nice stretching section and its clean. Really I have no complaints about this place. Excellent price, good parking. The only downside which is very small is that their Wi-Fi is terrible and even with my data my phone has a hard time playing music in there.

Staff does not greet you when you walk in. To busy on their phones. No sap in the restroom. Not as nice as other locations

This is the best gym Ive been to for the following reasons: the price is great $10 a month or $20 for VIP members, VIP offers unlimited tanning, hydromassage bed, massage chair, and Body Enhancement machine, not very crowded like 24hr fitness or LA fitness, members are just average Joes, no body builders walking through this place with their Creatine, judgement free zone, all the equipment you need (no Olympic weights tho), and lastly the best reason is that its the cleanest gym Ive ever been too! Ive never been to a gym where every single person wipes down their equipment with spray and paper towel after they are done using it! If people dont they are shunned. All these reasons makes this the best place Ive worked out

Terrible. Cold showers. Dirty machines. Filthy locker rooms. Also they wouldnt let my guest work out unless I was physically inside the gym. Never heard of such a stupid policy and Ill never be coming back

Ive never been to a Planet Fitness. Does the HB gym have free weights, squat racks, a place to stretch, lockers, bathrooms, showers?

Im being mistreated and looked down on because i use my membership to shower..the ppl at Huntington beach location just made a point to tell me that they have a note written down about me becuse they know for a fact that i only come in to use their shower..when i mentioned that i use it to work out sometimes they stood firmly on calling me a liar and misused my black card turns by forcing me to sign on more than once a day becuase i come in two to theee times daily..and sign their sheet..Im siik at the treatment im enduring from the new huntington beach location and i feel like im being mistreated and targeted in a negative way..
