Everyone else has already proclaimed Amir to be BEST and it doesnt get any better than him so what else can I possibly say?? No idea, but it is all true! Few weeks ago, I put my MacBook Pro 16” down on the coffee table, and then tripped over the power cord which resulted in the MacBook flying onto the floor. I started looking around online, read some reviews for other places in the area where Yelpers and Googlers were advising everyone on the planet NOT to go and then found HB Computers and their 450 + 5-star reviews combined on Google and Yelp. I believe that many Yelpers and Googlers cant be wrong, so I sent a short message around 9:30PM and they replied right away (that will never happen at Staples, thats for sure). I went in the following afternoon, left my laptop and Amir said it would be ready within 2 – 3 business days. Sure enough, less than 48 hours later I picked it up and not only was it fixed but it had a nice cleaning. HB Computers is located directly before In-N-Out burgers going east on Beach Blvd. toward 405 freeway. the price is insanely fair, and you will also get to work with an amazing business. HB Computers have left an indelible impression.

Ive been here on two separate occasions in the past, but recently felt compelled to write this after visiting other repair services.This is probably the best computer repair shop in all of Southern California. The staff are awesome and were able to fix my computer in under two days both times and all for a price that was easy on the wallet. I never felt like they were trying to cheat me or be dishonest about what they needed to do. These guys are great and have earned their awesome reputationthrough consistent service to the community. Ill definitely be back.

Simple fix of wiping graphics drivers via windows and clean installing via windows. I wouldnt have minded paying the fix for such a service yet they tried to scam me of $499 to replace 2 hard drives that have no OS or drivers installed into them. When I stated that and asked why, the owner didnt give much of an explanation and then said that hell reduce that price to $399. His infamous words of money doesnt mean everything is his hook. I did my research before picking up computer because I am not computer illiterate and consulted Windows only to get multiple responses from advisers and tech support that what I was offered was a scam. I went to pick up my computer and confronted owner. He stayed true in his stance even when I explained what Microsoft said. He said he would have diagnosed my computer for free if I called him personally. He was willing to return my $50 diagnosing fee. I asked if I unplugged my HDDs the problem should not occur and he said most likely but not guaranteed. I said for him to keep the $50 because I know workers need to get paid. Went home, did said action only to still experience my same problem. Went to Microsoft store the following week and they recommended Micro Center. Micro Center fixed my PC next day and said it was a corrupted conflicting graphics driver and did previously said fix for free, only paying diagnosing fee of $40. Although HB Computers owners practice was predatory, he stayed mannered. I understand paying for utilities, venue, workers, and supporting family, but I am disappointed that he would try to make so much out of me over an easy fix. I am sure this owner does great work with businesses that need help that have larger contracts but for personal work, I would look elsewhere. Oh and they lost a screw to my case... There is a lot more to be said regarding their diagnoses section and the screen captures but It is for their reference of them knowing that I am paying attention.

My 15” mid 2010 MacBook Pro was intermittently crashing and restarting. After calling around the consensus was it needed a motherboard repair. Based on positive reviews I chose HB computers. The next day I received a call that the internal fan was broken, half the price to fix and I also got it back the same week. I previously took my computer to Newport Apple Store and they failed to solve the issue big time. However, it took less than a week for HB computers to solve the issue. My PC screen was completely shuttered, and the problem turned out to be complex.When i brought it in, Covid hit, and many part manufacturers went onto lock down. It was very difficult to get anything from them.But HB computers guys remained persistent with getting all the right parts, and making sure they work.I would say that there were a lot of difficulties with my order, and they handled all the difficulties amazingly well, in spite of all hardship. I came to this place for the first time and I’ve gone to a few really good computer fix places but this one is different. HB computers really knows what they are doing. They have educated techs with tons of knowledge and experience. I took 2 MSI laptops and a custom made tower to them which was heavily damaged and they took the time to find all the original parts and get everything I needed to have my computers and laptops restored back to new!! They didn’t only do an amazing job but they called me during the process for updates and let me know everything that was very professional! Other places I’ve gone to before just have left me hanging and waiting in the past this place take customer service very seriously and professionally. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Resolves issues in a friendly and timely matter.

Expensive screen repair for a laptop, my girlfriend wanted to repair her screen at the end of her semester. They returned her screen with it still being broken, so she returned it again. The whole process has taken over 6 weeks and in that time she has really needed to use it. Unresponsive and delays scheduled meeting times, I do not recommend.

I took in my computer for an issue with my computer software interacting with my iPhone. They were able to resolve all the issues and I am very satisfied.

Fast and Easy.They were able to help me move my business while maintaining a similar infrastructure. When relocating, one of the biggest concerns I had was keeping things the same but with a more efficient system. That when I called these guys. They were able to set up a server for me, they even set up the workstations. I did not expect them to handle the heavy lifting but they did. They were able to communicate every step of the way and did not do anything without our approval. Weve been using windows 7 for the longest time but when the inevitable time came for windows 10, they were able to help us through the transition. Having a back up now a days is one of the most important things to running a business. When I expressed these concerns, they were able to get us on Amazon Cloud, one of the best cloud services out. They helped us get our office 365 subscriptions going. What a jump that was, from office 2007 to office 365. Overall these guys were great, very friendly, super affordable. What stood out the most was their communication. They always updated me and explained to me what they were doing. I highly recommend them to businesses and residents.

Proprietor understood my reluctance on spending the money for an original power supply on a marginal computer and wrote down comparable model numbers to buy on aftermarket version online. He offered to let me stay and fully charge my computer with his charger and offered me water while I was waiting. I will be his customer when I finally replace my laptop!

I found HB Computers during a frantic search for IT services last week. My bosss computer just stopped turning on and he was in a panic because he was unable to access any of his files. We needed a quick fix and I was so pleased with Amir at HB Computers. I called him but was not able to reach him right away, he called me right back, which NEVER happens. We spoke about the issue and within an hour or so he sent a tech to my office. Tech diagnosed the problem and knew exactly what was needed to fix it. All would have been repaired that afternoon had we not needed to order the part. But once the part came in a few days later, he came in again (this time within 30 min) and installed it. We were up and running once again. I will definitely be using this service again in the future. Other services I found were much more expensive and could not come to our office for 2-3 days so HB Computers was absolutely my best option. So happy!

Really good experience here. I ended up with a virus that damaged windows to the point that the computer completely would not turn on, just a black screen, couldnt even get to bios. These guys put in a clean install, did the upgrade to windows 10 for me at no charge (and at my request), and did a full diagnostic and noticed that one of my drives had bad sectors and was failing, so they copied all the data onto a new drive. When I picked my computer up, they assured me that if there were any problems I could just bring it back in. Very friendly and great service. I consider myself fairly computer savvy but these guys are pros.
