Its a water treatment plant.. nice people

In a current state of development but when complete will be the largest treatment plant for fresh water in the world.

These reviews seem kind of strange. Why would anyone be reviewing a Water plant in Houston? Is there a group of passionate water enthusiasts visiting these plants, critiquing and comparing them to other plants they’ve visited?A bit fishy...

YouTube brought me here. Its funny how things go from being,ok to bad to worse. Instead of just asking a few simple question and moving along you had to go and do what you did. Check out the video of this place on YouTube. I give this place 1 star for failing at being hospitable to others.

This is the best water plant in the Houston area, by far. NO other water plant in the Greater Southeast Texas Region can even come close to competing. Since 2005, this plant helps provide water to the Houston metroplex and beyond by reducing reliance on groundwater. The NEWPP also has a wonderful WaterWorks Education Center hosted in the admin building, complete with classrooms and school tours!

This plant stayed operational even during the major flooding from Harvey and continuing to provide water to the people of Houston. Great educational center too for the public and used frequently by many local schools.
