This little camera shop in old section of Humble Texas is great!Its old town feel with modern and antique camera equipment and accessories.Whats most important about this shop is the knowledge behind the counter. They can definitely help guide your purchases in the right direction to further you photography!Plus theyre right next to the Humble Cafe .. you cant stop for lunch without checking out this camera shop!

The staff was so helpful! They took the time to explain what was going on with my Nikon 7500 and gave us some tips on how to troubleshoot the problem. Not only were they extremely helpful but are genuine and honest people. You could tell that they do the work they do out of love for photography and connecting with their customers. Definitely will come back!

I had the worst customer service at Humble Camera. They are liars and Doug is rude, arrogant, condescending, obnoxious and lack basic customer service skills. I try to use small local businesses when I can. After this experience I will definitely reconsider my choices. I would not recommend this business to anyone. First time and last time customer.Your store manager knew i was very upset so to say sarcastically as I was leaving to have a nice day caused the profanity. His actions were uncalled for Brad.

It is so refreshing to find a camera shop close to me here in Houston off FM 1960. Staff was very helpful with all of my questions since I have some older cameras. Definitely will be returning here. Pricing is very fair for developing.

My daughters Girl Scout troop wants to learn about photography, so we wanted to take them to a camera shop to show them all the options out there. Humble Camera Center not only worked with our schedule to let our girls come in, but Brad gave our girls an excellent overview of the history of photography. He showed them the history of cameras using the models he has in store (everything from old box cameras and dark room chemicals to the newest GoPro). He was friendly, easy to understand and even let them develop their own pictures from their own personal cameras. I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge of cameras and photography. And they develop 35mm film on site. No more having to mail out the disposable cameras I send to camp with the kids and wait weeks to see what they were up to while they were away.

Drove 30 minutes to get my film developed at this place. I put the CD into my computer and no pictures were available. I am absolutely livid. There was a folder located that was titled 0.

I went in there because an old camera of mine (an Olympus om-1)was having trouble and i was hoping to be able to get some kind of insight. The younger gentleman with glasses was very to the point and extremely informative and patient, not only did he promptly identify the problems but he fixed most of them on the spot am so thankful for coming to this store and will probably be giving them any future business relating to film and or cameras. I Highly recommend this place.

I drove from Tomball to get my camera fixed. I wasnt sure what the problem was, but it ended up being a very simple setting issue. The gentleman who helped me explained what the problem was and set it up for me so I could use my camera without future issues. He was kind and patient with me. That level of service is worth the drive.

I started going to them when I decided I wanted to be a photographer about 3 years ago. They were extremely helpful. I didnt know for sure what I wanted or even needed to begin. The owner showed me various cameras and discussed each of them. He didnt try to talk me into an expensive camera just to make a sale. In fact, he suggested that I begin with a crop sensor and had me hold various models and brands so I could feel which was comfortable and easy to use for me. I went with the Canon T3. He explained all the functions and buttons. Anytime I need anything, everyone in the store is very helpful and knowledgeable. They dont hesitate to explain things to me. I just upgraded to the 6D a few days ago and Brad who now runs it, did the same thing. Showed me the cameras ins and outs and answered all my many questions. Didnt try to sell me stuff I didnt want. Doug and Brad are always right there when I need them and very amazing at explaining things to me in a way I can understand. Sure other places may have something for less price but the extra buck or two pays for peace of mind and it supports the local mom n pop places that need it most. I refuse to go anywhere else unless they cant get it. I love Humble Camera!!!

Went in for a problem with my focus on my camera. The man there was super helpful and knowledgeable and fixed my camera in basically 10 seconds. You can tell he is passionate about what he does which I love. They also have a great collection of older cameras for sell and I bought one at a super decent price! Definitely recommend this place for all camera needs!

This is one of my favorite camera shops. I have a Nikon camera and they are one of the few dealers in town that are authorized to work on Nikon. I find their help highly valuable. I have taken my cameras into their shops many times. Sometimes I have gotten a great repair, other times they let me know I needed to work my camera differently.Just today I took some framing work into them, they do framing too. I had a difficult piece and they were good enough to give me advice to go elsewhere to get the work framed.I find them helpful and extremely honest. I love going here.

I went to Humble Camera 16 years ago when I bought my first digital camera. They have helped me enormously with everything related to the camera and how to use it, how to print, almost everything. If they cant fix my camera, they send to the factory for me. Always helpful.......very few small business like them left. Hope they continue to prosper!!

Absolutely hands down the best camera repair store in all of Houston. Took my camera in to have cleaned. Did a far better job than Nikon had ever done. Extremely fast only had to wait a few hours. EXTREMELY HONEST and friendly. They actually cared about you as a customer. I dont care where you live in Houston this should be the only place you take to get your camera cleaned or repaired. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Found an old roll of film that I knew (and mentioned) to the owner that it may not be any good, but I paid the $11 hoping for the best. I waited a week to find out that the film was in fact a bad roll. I understand not printing out the entire roll of 35mm film since none of the pic’s came out, but he certainly did not offer a refund or reimbursement of any sort for a roll of film he never developed.

I recently went in with my Nikon D100 looking for a new lens and flash, and the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable that I was amazed. They made sure that everything I wanted was compatible with my camera, even testing stuff out for me when I did now know how to do it myself. I have been to a lot of camera stores and they all seemed more interested in making a sale than in actually helping a customer out. These people are amazing. Like the other review said, they are more interested in getting you what you need instead of just selling you the most expensive thing possible. I will definitely return to this store.

I called this store with an inquiry on an issue with one of my lenses, and Im blown away by the knowledge and help I received. The person I talked to seemed extremely knowledgeable on different issues that may have been affecting my lens and above all, was completely honest about the possible cost of repair (instead of trying to intice me with a possibly inaccurate price). Will definitely get all my camera issues fixed here.

Got my passport pics done for both UK & US was in and out in minutes

They took 3 hours from my life for nothing. I called them and ask if they repair 70-200 is version 1 and they told me to come there. i said i have 1 hour 15 minutes way to come there with the traffic. they said yes they can fix. and whenever i went there and asked, the guy said they can not repair 70 200 is anymore because canon doesnt fix ! i stayed there just 5 minute and then drove back for 1.30 min with traffic.... they took my whole day.. really angry to them.........

Great place for older lens for cheap. Only downside was there was some miscommunication over the phone but it worked out in the end.

Dropped my cameras off two weeks ago with a description of what was wrong with the cameras. Turns out it was user malfunction on my part and could have been explained in about 2 minutes, but instead they decided to clean and inspect the entire camera and lenses without my permission. Charged $173 and nothing was wrong with them. Bad business. Charging for services not requested
