I’ve been using another processor in Crosby for years and always thought they did a good job although very expensive. Last year received chili meat with a ton of Cartilage and decided to try someone new. I have to say Last step made me regret ever using the Crosby location. Don’t want to say any names, but I’ll just say Max**** is nothing compared to last step. Will be using LS from now on. Jerky is amazing.

Kudos to Paul and the gang at Last Step. The German Sausage links are closer in taste to the processor we used to use in Shiner than anywhere else Ive found, the Breakfast pan sausage is friggin awesome, the snack sticks, man I shoulda had more of them made, havent tried out the jalapeno cheese links yet, but Id bet theyre awesome as well.Theres no question that I got all my meat, I got a lot more sausage than I expected. A reasonable price, and quick turnaround time. Worth it.

This is by far , the best processor in the Houston area! Joe & Mary bend over backwards to please their customers, with service ,selection, and meat care! The moon is the limit on types of sausage, jerky, and meat cuts! Not cheap, but you get what you pay for!

All iI ask for was a simple processed deer. Only wanted the meat sliced and wrapped. He said roughly 250 dollars wich is high already and when I went to pick it up he had me at 391 dollars for fees. I left the deer with him when he wasnt able to explain why a simple slicing job turned into 391 dollars for processing. Thats ridiculous. Id never do business with this establishment. Shop rates. This guys business practices are shady
