Worst place ever! I came here because my car literally shutted down in front of their place, and even with the jumper I had it was not working at all, they told me it was the battery, I replaced it, they charged me 285.00.Kept having the same problems to days later... Came back, told the store manager my issue, I told him that I did what the other guy told me: “To replace the battery”, the storage manager charged me 300.00 more that day and said that the issue was a battery fuse, next day my car got shut down again, I go back again to the store and he said it was the alternator, he told me the cost was going to be 800.00, I asked him if he can lower the price because I wanted to treat this problem the first time I came in and he said no, we are not lowering the price, if you want go to another place. I mean, come on!!!!! Why you did not tell me that the first time I took the car in, why you made me replace the battery and the battery fuse???????!!!!!! I work really hard for my money and it really hurts me the fact that I paid and replaced battery pieces that did not have to be replaced. They don’t know what they’re doing, they’re not prepared not even equipped, no knowledgeable, no experience. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, AND DON’T EVER COME TO THIS PLACE, IT IS NOT WORTH IT! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL! NO EMPATHY FOR OTHERS PEOPLE’S MONEY. WORST PLACE EVER.

***Consumer Warning*** Over the past year I have had my front and back brakes and rotors replaced at Midas Humble. My car would pulse and shake. After replacing and resurfacing many times (three that I can find the invoices) at Midas we took the car to the Volvo dealership. We paid for the brakes to be replaced again at Volvo and reported the damage that Midas did to the vehicle. Midas ruined the brakes and damaged my car. The owner of Midas Humble, Jacob Jenkins would not answer our emails. I called corporate today and he finally called me. Jacob Jenkins refused to refund the money we paid. He talked down to me and hung up the phone on me. Extremely unprofessional and did not try to resolve the situation. I am very disappointed in this business. There were bolts, pins and brackets missing and screws were stripped. This is dangerous. Do not trust your vehicle with MIDAS HUMBLE. Disrespectful and very poor customer service.

DO NOT GO THAT PLACE IF YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY!My wife went to this place and received the worst service you can imagine.She took the car for the first time because the car it turned off, they told her it was the battery, then the vehicle continued with the problem and they changed another part, but the vehicle continued with the problem, the third time she took the vehicle they told her that It was the alternator and they wanted to charge her almost 900 dollars to change it after she had paid almost 600 dollars to check the vehicle and change the battery…. A piece but it does not try to solve the real problem…… Dont go to that place to waste your time and money when there are places with better and cheaper service. It is assumed that from the first time the vehicle was taken the lessor should have checked because the symptoms that the car had was from that part so they did nothing and did not have the consideration to solve the problem.

The worst place I have ever visited. Once I found out I had the power to write reviews, this place came to mind. I am not sure if the manager is still working there but is tall, brown haired, middle aged guy with glasses. He is the rudest and most ratty/scamming person. He will try and sell you things that do not pertain to your vehicle. DONT COME HERE!

I bought my tires from Midas in Humble and I was mislead from the beginning.I purchased the lifetime tire rotation and balance and was also told that I could go to any Midas and have the services done which was a lie.I specifically asked because I relocated to Houston and that would be a far drive for me just to have my tires rotated.Moving forward I made my first appointment to have the tires rotated and balanced and when I got there the technician said it would be $20 dollars.I explained to him that I purchased the lifetime tire rotation and balance which was clearly printed on my receipt and he immediately gave me an attitude.He then told me that there is a limit to how many rotations I can get which the receipt clearly says lifetime coverage.The owner then comes out and raises his voice at me telling me that I was rude and that I was not listening to him.I was only asking him to show me on the receipt where it stated that it was not a lifetime warranty and he refused and just kept belittling me.Upon leaving I saw the owner gathered around his employees laughing at me which made it even more childish and sad.Bottom line is I have never been treated like this before from anybody and I ask that you please read this review and take your business elsewhere.The owner is a liar and all he cares about is himself.He even told me that he was much better off than me insinuating that I was beneath him.I am not knocking Midas in general because I have had outstanding customer service from other locations.Bottom line is I was lied to and treated with the utmost disrespect from the owner.I paid for a service that now I will not get because I refuse to go back to this location.Please do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!!

I appreciated the attentive level of service I received from Robert and the techs here. Robert was able to get approval for my repair quickly from my fleet service company whereas NTB took an entire day getting approval for the same repair. They were even understanding of my disability which had been deliberately targeted and exacerbated by the people at NTB who had full knowledge of it. Ill be taking my work vehicle to this Midas from now on.

I could not get a price for the oil change until after it was done. And if you dont pay then your car will be towed. Service writer/manager said he couldnt give a price because he has not put the pencil to the paper yet. Once complete it was $100 for oil change and air filter changed. I wanted high mileage oil but not the highest quality and most expensive oil. I did not even get to choose! Ill go to Walmart next time and get it for $39.Edit: the service was quick and I did get the better oil so price was fair. But let me know what Im paying for and let me choose.

I recently brought in my Ford Edge for an oil change and brake service. I was very impressed with Simon the manager as he was so knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I not only received a great price, but also the work was completed in a timely manner. I was so impressed by the cleanliness of the entire facility. I dont usually see this in other public establishments. I highly recommend this Midas shop to all of my friends and family.

I was informed the gentleman that owns the shop just took over 2 weeks ago, I would not have gone here because of reviews, but it was on my way to where I was headed. I am glad I stopped by, the guys were so nice, attentive and prices reasonable. Try these guys out, youll be glad you did!!

I had an issue with my brakes making sounds earlier this week so I called around a few car shops and the manager at this location sounded the friendliest on the phone and offered to check my brakes for free. Once I go there I was very impressed with how clean the shop was, normally the places I have gone in the past have been dirty and not very pleasant to sit while waiting on my car. The manager said my brakes looked great and didn’t need to be replaced yet, the random squeak in the morning was from moisture. I am very relieved that they were honest with me and I will certainly be going back on the future!

I spoke with Robert not too long ago, he tells me hes the new store manager. I asked him for the price of a conventional oil change. He asked for the car make and model. Once I gave it to him he said my car cannot have a convention oil change because its too new. He stated conventional oil changes are for cars made before year 2000. He also stated he needed my license plate and VIN number in order to find out what kind of oil change was REQUIRED for my car. I specifically asked him if it was required or recommended. He answered required. I knew he was trying to rip me off because I am a woman.I had the same oil change from MIDAS in both of my vehicles for the past 3 years and 5 years on my older one without a single issue. Due to his greed and miseducation about cars I will Never in a million years continue business with Midas. Its crazy and disgusting what people will do for more money. Very sad.

I see customer service is not common these days. I go in for a oil change which the guy says oh bring it in , I get there and someone tells me oh we are too busy on this one truck . My guess is he saw the chic in the tight pants dropping a car off and was like oh forget me standing in front of him! It doesn’t take everyone in the shop for one truck I know. Well I’m never going back !

Great service!I needed a new A/C kit in my vehicle, to my surprise, it was cheaper than I thought. They worked with me and treated me fair.It took a good sum of time, but thats only to be expected.Id recommend them to my friends, and family.

No pleased.... Went in for an oil change and was told I had $800.00 worth of work needed to my vehicle. One being new break pads.(said it was almost metal on metal) I told the attendant at the counter To do my oil change only and my husband would address the other issues with my car. Later that day I had my husband look at my vehicle and purchased the propper items to fix my car that the Midas attendant said needed to be done. Well long story short.... my breaks were still good only 1/2 worn at best and the other stuff was fine. We almost waisted a lot of money... Will not be returning! EVER! Whats wrong with just having an honest business anymore.... they are hard to find.

LESSONS LEARNED: Beware of their SCARE TACTICS, incomplete parts listings and estimates! Always get a SECOND OPINION.Situation: Apparently I needed a wheel alignment due to uneven wear on my old tires. So after purchasing all new tires from Discount Tire in Humble (great service, BTW) they recommended me to this Midas for a wheel alignment. I got the alignment however Midas then said that new front struts and rear shocks were still needed. A final wheel alignment after installation of the new struts and shocks would also be required. They quoted me $1600 for all that work so I declined. I took it elsewhere for the new struts and shocks and came back to Midas for the final wheel alignment. Before the final wheel alignment was to done, Scott (Midas manager) consulted with me and claimed that the previous work done (new struts and shocks installed by others) were still missing parts and to get everything aligned properly Midas would still have to install other parts (parts they neglected to tell me about during the struts and shocks phase estimate). Quoted price ($1600+). His attitude throughout this consult was demeaning, condescending, I told you so and scolding! I didnt appreciate that attitude. Needless to say, I left. Happy to report that I recently got my tires rotated (Discount Tire) and they didnt report any uneven wear on my new tires.

I had my care serviced here on 3/2/2018. Simon, the manager, is very knowledgeable. The shop is very clean, the crew is quick and courteous. Definite 5 star rating.

I called Midas I should have known from the start the man was kind of rude and not friendly. They told me it would cost $129 to get an oil change for my diesel pickup truck and also $7 for an inspection sticker I get there they start the process of changing the oil and the inspection they told me that the tires needed to be changed in the back because that they were considered bald so I proceeded to get my bill for $175 without the inspection I refuse to pay so they walked away from me and said I could sit there needless to say they came back and charge me $140 and through my change at me and told me to have a nice day at that point I went to have the tires changed so that I could get my inspection they told me that my tires were fine I will never go to Midas ever again. Seems they like to try to overcharge women.

Needed to get my oil changed, tires rotated and balanced since I was headed out of state for a long drive. Was able to get in and out pretty quickly. Staff was helpful. Would definitely recommend these guys.

One of the single worst customer experiences I have ever had the misfortune of enduring. Had a tire rotation and vehicle inspection and asked to be notified of any recommendations for maintenance on my vehicle. I was told the process would take 30-45 minutes. After waiting an hour and a half and receiving no call I returned to find that the work had been completed, and there was a list of recommended work. I then waited for another 30 minutes to finally pay and take my keys. Additionally the recommended actions were listed as having been declined even though I was not asked about additional work and in fact I would have had the tasks completed if i had only be informed. 2 hours wasted and no repairs on my vehicle, I will not return and would not recommend this business to anyone else.

My experience with midas has always been phenomenal, recently its been better than ever! The manager Simon is friendly and is willing to work with me to keep my truck in great shape! The employees were friendly and knew what they were doing. I will never take my truck to another automotive place this is the best automotive shop around!

This is my first time coming here my parents come all the time and tell me how great it is so i finally came for a inspection sticker and oil change and let me tell you i loved it its fast they are nice they make sure i understood everything about my car that i didnt know.The guy at the front desk played street fighter with my daughter! I mean how many of yall can say many places do.that!!

DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE! All the ads and propaganda stating that Midas is honest is a bunch of BULL! At least for this location. I took my truck in the other day for an oil change and I also had a strange noise coming from my engine. Of course it was of concern to and I wanted their honest opinion. The manager tried to sell me in on all these maintenance products and tried scaring me into buying them by telling me that this was a major sign that my engine would give out soon. After some research turns out its a typical minor issue with my vehicle, and all I needed was to use a cleaning additive (which I did) and switch to synthetic oil and a better filter which solved my problem (which by the way they use very cheap Quaker State that you can buy a WalMart for $15 and a no name cheap oil filter). I noticed one of the mechanics was trying to help me in giving me an alternative solution to all the extra things the manager was trying to sell me in on, but the manager was quick to cut him off and change the subject. He even gave him a stare down which Im sure he didnt think I noticed. Needless to say I will not be back. This place is not here for the customers best interest in mind, theyre only out for your pockets. STAY AWAY.

Arrived at 8:20 am and was helped very quickly. I was in a hurry and was told oil change would take about 15 minutes. True to their word I did not have to wait long. Staff was friendly and quick. The only thing was that they did not accept the online coupon I showed them from their website. Said I had to have printed it out on paper. Had to pay full price for the oil change. That is the only thing I was unhappy about.

I had broke down on the freeway and called the closest midas to me. The shop manager called a towing service and had my car towed in. Discount tire caused some damage to my car and couldnt repair it. They sent me to this midas and repairs were made quickly.I asked about front struts while I was there and the price quoted was very reasonable.

Got an estimate for new brake pads and rotors....what a phenomenal establishment! No sugar coating or trying to fool ya, totally to the point and blunt. I received exceptional service from the front and back of the house!

I had a lot of trouble with Discount Tire sending me here instead of some place close to fix some seized up lug nuts. I was late to my appointment and the manager said it would be four hours before the car would be ready. I settled in for a long wait.BUT he recognized my frustration and got the car in immediately. It done in 40 minutes. I appreciate your conscientiousness.

I brought my truck in for front rotor replacement. Labor charge was $340. I called a competitor and was provided same service for less than a third of the cost.Not sure I would recommend anyone to have their vehicle serviced at this location if the labor charges arent anywhere near reasonable.

Horrible Experience!!! Place was a little run down and it was so hot in there. Both things I could have dealt with if it wasnt for the managers bad attitude. I went to him to get his opinion on some work I had done from a Midas out of town which let my car running bad. Instead of him being honest, he tried to tell me I needed struts. His attitude was like, Never mind the customer already had a bad experience with a previous Midas, let me try to get another $900.00 from her. Why he couldnt just be honest? Why couldnt he just be professional? Why did he have to be so rude? I cant figure out how this Midas is still in business!

Came in for a wheel alignment and oil change. There were a couple people being serviced before I got there, so it took no less than an hour to get done with mine, which is definitely conceivable. The guy up front knew what he was talking about and let me know what else was up with my car. They know the wait is long so they provide coffee and water.

Why is it so hard to get decent customer service these days? I was sent there by Discount Tire. They didnt have availability. Thats fine. I asked the guy if he could just look at my wheel and assess how safe it would be to keep driving since I do a lot of it. He said, no, Im not going to do that. Then he proceeded to say, because I stood there in shock for a minute, that he doubted they would let me drive away if it wasnt safe. 1. He didn’t know or ask about the entire situation. 2. Id understand if he didnt want to be liable or wasnt capable of giving a 2nd opinion, but to flat out say no without explanation? Even though I set an appointment, dont expect me to show up. Like ever.

I believe this place gets over on women, what pissed me off is the manager gave me a price, then lied. They do good don’t get me wrong, but they try to get over on you. Maybe it could be just this location who knows.

My van broke down on the side of the road during a storm with my family, called other local repair shops and nobody else would he able to help us out. Finally called midas and the manager there, Simon was really helpful and polite, he arranged for a wrecker service to bring my vehicle to his shop and his crew immediately went to work diagnosing and fixing my problem. Turned out it was a faulty ground cable, after making sure that me and my family was okay he sent us on our way. I definitely will trust the Midas touch from now on. Cudos to those guys.

I went in the other day because my brakes started grinding on my truck. The manager got me right in and brought me in to the shop and showed me everything that my truck needed. Great prices, great service, I will definitely come back here for my car repair.

Had Midas install rear shoes on my truck 4-6 months ago. My parking brake didnt work correctly when I went to use it today so I went to Midas to have it checked out. Manager tells me my drums are past the service limit and the passanger side rear shoe was Grinding because its beyond the rivets and destroyed the drum. I asked is this under warranty and he said he was glad to change the shoes but I will have to pay labor to change out the shoes and that I will have to buy new drums. I asked that since the shoes that you provided destroyed my drums then shouldnt you replace my drums? I mean you just installed the shoes not even 6 months ago! Shouldnt my shoes last longer then that??? My last set lasted 7 years with no issues!The manager smirked at me and said no! This person has the nerve to say it will cost over $400 to fix!!!There part failure caused this problem and yet I have to pay for it??? DO NOT GO HERE!!!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!As a mystery shopper If I could give this place less than one star I would, I came in and ask for them to check my car which they did told me it had a few missfires so he said I should start by changing the spark plugs, so I said ok I need a tune up plus changing the spark plugs he said that is the entire tune up changing the spark plugs. (I knew he was wrong) so now my car is worst I cant even drive it, i called the man n told him about it he said the tune at his shop ONLY includes changing the spark plugs so I paid almost $180 for spark plugs?? that makes no sense, this is how they treat women I will never come back to that shop and I would suggest any women out there to do the same there is no more honesty or integrity left in this world. Worst experience of my life.

Gals beware! I went in for a simple oil change, and they ended up taking out spark plugs, air filters, tires, etc. to tell me all these things I need to fix and pay for. Luckily Ive changed my own filters and break pads to know I didnt need them replaced yet. Then one of the employees proceeded to come into the waiting room and give a speech to the other woman waiting about how they dont scam women, and women are better because they ask questions, yada yada yada. I was trying to take it with a grain of salt, but truly appeared to be another sleezy sales technique against women. They had done the same thing to her by taking parts off and giving her another recommended list of things and services to pay for.I felt scammed big time, and the whole speech really set me off. I like Midas, but not a fan of this location. Wouldnt recommend.

Good service nice people make you feel like youre not getting taking 4 your money I belong in my 2005 BMW made me feel comfortable change the oil on my car just a little delay on getting the oil filter but they was on the job to go get the filter to change my oil overall satisfy

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. The first time I came here it was to see how much an oil change was. The guy at the front desk was rude as s...t he acted like if he didnt care about getting me as a customer so I left the place very very disappointed at MIDAS. The 2nd time I went there I had a coupon so the oil change costed me cheaper and I was lucky enough not to see the rude guy I mentioned before (hes the manager by the way).Third and last time it was today. I walked in to the front desk and there was no one to greet me (thats the first negative point -1) then a guy showed up who didnt know that a ford C-max was, I had to repeat it 3 times and finally he ended up going right next to the car to read the model name!!! (Second negative point -2)Then I showed him a coupon and he didnt know what to do with it. He kept going to the back office to ask the manager what services were included on that coupon, even though they were written ON THE COUPON!!! (Third negative point -3) and he wanted to charge me for tire rotation and guess what...it was also included. This shows you that the manager doesnt communicate to his employees about new offers or promotions.Then they were rotating the wheels and they found that the rotors and brake pads needed to be replaced. So at that point Mr bad attitude showed up for an estimate...and it ended up being $1.004!!! Unbelievable!!!So I said no! and he didnt like it at all, he acted like a kid when you dont let him play videogames or go to do something he really wanted to do! Same faces, same looks, same reactions. It was funny to see such a childish attitude from a grown up man!Long story short, in my opinion, THE WORST PLACE IN HUMBLE TEXAS. Then I went across the street to Quick Lane and I had the same job done with Quick Lane for less money and WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY better customer service.ILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE.

So disappointed. After being told by our Nissan dealers service, that our exhaust was in good shape, it only needed to be re-welded when it came loose. They suggested Midas. Well, one person said sure but didnt have time right then, next day, were told we needed a new catalytic converter in the rear for an outrageous amount, took it elsewhere and guess what? No problem, exhaust WAS fine, just needed to be welded. Felt they were taking advantage of us. Be careful if you go there.

Great customer service. Had to have some work done on my truck that I thought was going to cost me an arm and a leg but they quickly figured out what was wrong and got it back to me at a reasonable price. Will be back.

Always great and fast service. Shop is always clean and the staff is prompt and professional.

Was lied to about possible repairs that could not be done. They assumed my knowledge of auto repair was non existent and they were wrong.

Some of the staff here are ok...not sure if service should be rated ok at a mechanic shop. I received several [shes black] looks and waited wayy too long to be asked what I needed. Its 2018 and not everyone black acts the same!

Had an awesome experience here. The service was great and timely and the staff was very helpful.

I was pretty disappointed in my experience here. The float manager was more concerned with his personal life during my entire visit and felt compelled to tell me all about it, which was pretty uncomfortable. I, of course, felt like I had to keep conversation to avoid being rude. This continued the duration and made him unable to know what was going on with my car, which is an entirely different situation. It was a big waste of my time and money. Unless all other service locations burn down, I will never be back to this location for any of my vehicles.

When I told the guy I get my parts wholesale and I would not be buying anything from him he got an attitude!! They are irritated that you use a coupon! Told me it was time to buy a new car when all I need is basic maintenance on the vehicle. Its a Lexus for crying out loud, they last forever. Ok Im exaggerating but if you know Lexus then you know what i mean. Screw this location, we will never patronize them again!!!

Got my catalytic converter for great price, my Freon refilled for an even better price, great service and clean environment.

My car was making a strange noise so I took it to Midas.It turned out to be a missing bolt.They replaced the bolt and sent me on my way.It was a pleasant experience .
