Refused to give me my full records of my time in DHS foster care. Livingston County really set me up for failure as a kid and then wont release my full records. Im sure theres a cover up from the years Bob Davison was there.

I am a family advocate in Michigan. Livingston is one of the main counties i fight against. I am not shocked that the first review here is very nice but spelt all wrong, but the rest are the truth because MDHHS is not about reunification, they are about title IV-E. I tried to contact the general information representative and from my 5 times calling I only got through to them once. Every other time,my call would be disconnected. simply terrible and utterly frustrating.

This agency has botched my case for 6 month. I have turned in requested paperwork several times and somehow they never recieve it, even when its dropped in the box at the office. Literally NEVER return phone calls. My case was unexpectedly terminated due to supposedly not receiving paperwork I sent in. Had to re apply and the same thing happened again. Ive called over and over, left messages and never recieve a call back.

Absolutely awful customer service. They never answer the phone to respond to questions. They also apparently lost paperwork that I dropped off as I never heard a response and it never got processed. This place is horrid. Not like this review matters because it’s a state agency, so they are protected and could obviously care less!

If I could give a -5 i would, my case worker took 3 weeks C. ROWLAND just to answer some much needed questions by their ridiculous time frame. She was on vacation 🤣Told me what I did need was inaccurate and lied about when the paper work could be turned in.🤬 Find out 2 days before Christmas that my 6 yr. Old autistic child no longer has insurance unless I turn paper work in by the day after Christmas and cant have my questions in this 5 day lead time answeres bc of the holiday. Oh and they wont post their hours! Return calls and lose paperwork that causes you to jump through their hoops to receive the same benefits. Theyre very rude and unhelpful. IF YOU DONT WANT TO WORK THERE, GET A NEW JOB! Seems they try to make you fail on turning your documents in on purpose. Merry fn Christmas!

Multiple offices here. On Google comes up as adult abuse so I wasnt sure I was in the right spot. Its health services, EBT etc,msu extension. Honestly I think the name on Google should just say Department of human services to prevent any confusion

Better than Genesee county but still deal with people who hate their jobs. What can you expect from DHHS though. Much better than Flint.

No one answers the the phones. DAYS before someone calls back. There always losing paperwork and workers have nasty attitudes and threaten to hang up on you. Hope you all needs assistance one day

Friendly staff , plenty parking spots, helpful understanding staff.

Just about impossible to get ahold of the general information operator. Maybe they should hire someone that knows how to set up voicemail and someone that can answer a phone. Very frustrating.
