Great service - called a couple of times to ask questions and always got a call back quickly. When I brought in my boat cover for a repair everything was taken care of as explained on the phone at a very reasonable price. If you need a repair completed or custom canvas work I would highly recommend Codys!

Back on April 30th I hired Codys Custom Canvas to make a new cover for my pontoon. I figured if he was good enough for Wilson Marine it was good enough for me. But I guess I was wrong. On April 30 he told me it would only take 2 days and could cost 1400.00, so I gave him a required 700.00 deposit and left the boat. After a while I never herd anything so I decided to check in with him on May 18th, I was told he “accidentally did another cover instead of mine”. I told him I was actually headed out of town and did not need my boat until the following weekend, and on that day May 18th he told me “I would have it before I needed it”. I checked in on May 25th and he told me “he is still on track”. On Friday May 28th the day I’m supposed to get it back, I asked him if i could pick it up tomorrow (Saturday)….. crickets… no reply. Saturday morning, I sent another message asking if everything went good… crickets.. so with friends and family wanting to go out, I decided to just head to his shop, when I pulled in, I was shocked to see my boat never touched. It was full of debris and water. He knew all along it wouldn’t get done and lied. So I hooked up and took it. I then sent him this as I was leaving“Its been three weeks man. Im extremely disappointed. You told me this would take two days when I first contacted you. I even stayed in communication with you for the past week to make sure it would be done by yesterday or today. And it hasnt been touched in three weeks.”And got no response. This was on Saturday May 29th. So I let it go for the weekend expecting a response from him and got nothing. So I sent another message on Tuesday June 1st saying“I expected some sort of professional response from you over the weekend and got nothing. Ill just take my refund so I can take it else where to get it done.”And nothing. June 3rd I asked again for a refund, and actually was shocked to get a response saying this.“Sorry for the delay in response.I understand your disappointed and I apologize. It’s been really difficult for me to formulate a response. The longer it has been put off the worse it has been eating at me.I have no problem giving you a refund. To say the boat hadn’t been touched tho is untrue. The cover needs to be snapped on, reinforcements added, and its good to go, just a couple hours honestly. If you want your money back, I can do that. If you want your money back and the cover (as it will only fit on your boat) I’m willing to pick it up Tuesday morning and return it Tuesday evening with a cover & your refund. If your over dealing with me and just want a refund, I get it... If there is anything I can do in addition to refunding your money to make this right please let me know.I’ll be on the road most of the day but I’ll be at the boar yard this evening 6:00-9:00.”And here was my response to him.“My boat is in Woodland lake. I rent my trailer out for the summer so I no longer have a trailer until Labor Day. If youre willing to pick it up and drop it off and make it right I have no problem paying you to do the job youre doing. I own multiple understaffed businesses, I know what its like right now when it comes to help and manpower and being overwhelmed with too much work. Not communicating had me more frustrated than not having the cover done. So like I said, if youre willing to pick it up and drop it back off, then Im still willing to pay you to do the job. Otherwise I will just take it elsewhere in the fall.”And guess who did not show up that Tuesday June 8th? Cody. And he has been a ghost sense then. Won’t refund me the money, won’t build me a cover… so beware who you use. This guys turning out to be a scammer.

Had a motorcycle backrest that I had replaced the cover on. All I needed was someone to staple the cover to the plastic bottom. I was first told it was $85, upon my reaction was then told well at least $50. I went home and did it myself in 15 minutes.
