One of the best decisions we made during our home remodel was to install custom triple sliding glass doors from the living room to the backyard patio and a custom trapezoid window in our vaulted kitchen wall. These were all recommendations from Rosa with Pella. If you’re remodeling your home, I wouldn’t work with anyone else. Rosa recommends high quality design and function while considering your budget. Rosa is highly experienced and easy to work with. I have found that Pella strikes the best balance of quality / warranty / design versus value in Houston. We’re extremely happy customers.

This years house project was to get the outside of the house in great shape. As part of this, I decided to replace the back door which has been leaking and had some closing issues. I decided to use Pella as I have had good experience with their windows previously. Raul and his installation team arrived as scheduled, removed the old door and did a great job installing the new one. They did very detailed, quality work and cleaned up everything when they were done. Total time was only 5 hours! Raul did a great job working with me during the installation and answered all my questions and ensured a quality job. Pella is expensive, for sure, but in this case, I really received what I paid for. This should be the last back door this house will ever need while I am here! I highly recommend Houston Pella Windows & Doors!

Beware of false prophets...If you are shopping for replacement windows and receive a high quote followed by a statement that they will reduce the quote by 36% or more if you sign that day, run away!!! If the window representative spends the last 10 to 20 minutes talking to you about how you have to give him a 9 or higher on the survey, run away!!!We recently started taking quotes for replacement of 29 windows on a home that was built in 2000 as a Platinum series home that contained single pane glass in aluminum frames (no energy efficiency). We started every conversation with the statement that we were seeking at least 4 to 5 quotes on replacement windows and even identified the brands that we were entertaining. It is amazing after providing this level of transparency that we had companies that gave high quotes with the stipulation that they would reduce the quote by 36% or more if we signed that day.It is important that you do due diligence and research the windows that you seek. We wanted double hung dual pane windows with a low emission of Advantage or higher. Having the facts was a huge benefit when we started entertaining different companies. Only one window company acknowledged our efforts and committed to working with us to meet our needs and that was Pella Windows representative Fernando Hernandez. As much as I desire to identify the other 4 windows companies that gave us quotes, I do not feel this is the correct forum to call them out.Keep in mind that the lowest bid on replacement windows may not be the best choice either. Again, do your due diligence and do your home work. In our case, the lowest bidder was around 35% lower than Pella Windows, but research and communication with other people that had window replacements identified that our lowest bidder was not the best quality window we could find.It was only the Pella Windows representative Fernando Hernandez that worked with us and addressed our needs by coming up with options and alternate quotes to off-set the price difference.Once you have done your homework, you will realize that Pella Windows and their representatives are the best quality on the market...Muchas Gracious Fernando!

I ordered 3 windows more than 2 months ago and were told they would supposed to arrive between Sept 6 and Sept 24 today. Pella decided YESTERDAY to say that the windows will not arrive till DECEMBER --- ZERO customer service, communication. Dont blame Covid -- thats an old excuse. If you cant fulfil orders, then STOP taking them or be honest on delivery upfront. Will be cancelling this order and NEVER recommend this company for its blatant disregard for customers.

I purchased a patio door through Rosa Ramos- Rodriguez at the Pella showroom. I had previously used a big box company to replace all windows in my previous home and while the windows were good it took forever with lots of issues. By going to the Pella showroom I hoped to have a better experience and I was so right. Rosa was patient and went though all my options, listened to my plans and made it HAPPEN! It is just what I wanted; black outside and white inside, grill and blinds in the glass giving a clean and perfect touch. Rosa was wonderful and ever day I can now wake up to a pool view with the perfect door! It looks so great I am ordering windows and another door to complete the back of the house. No doubt in my mind that The Pella showroom was the way to go.

After having a poor experience getting set up with another highly advertised window company in Houston and deciding to back out right before signing a contract because it didn’t feel right, I have been so pleased with every step of the process with Pella!Hannah came by to help us plan and purchase, and she was so helpful and patient with all of our questions! She was available to text with questions through the whole process, and even sent a personal thank you note!Daniel and his team have been very polite, professional, and skilled in the measurement and installation of my windows. It has rained SO much in Houston lately which did delay the install by a couple of days (which is TOTALLY understandable), but I have received calls and texts with exactly what to expect and when to expect it and they have delivered! Dolores offered to switch my installer if I wanted to keep my original install date, but Daniel was so helpful and thorough when he did the initial measure that I was happy to wait for him a couple of days.Pella was not the cheapest quote I received, but they have been the best to work with and I feel like my money was well spent! The whole process took just about two months, which I think is very reasonable! My windows look beautiful and I plan to enjoy them for many years to come!

Kara is rude and unprofessional. Basically was yelling at us over the phone because of some confusion about a door we ordered that we were just trying to get straightened out. What happen to good customer service?? It’s not hard Kara.

Ordering and installation went well. Just make sure they cover the floors VERY well. Falling glass will damage wood and laminate when they bust out the old windows. I had some minor damage, likely only I noticed. I patched the minor damage and it could have been worse ... so 4 vs 5 star.

We have been trying to get our windows replaced for THREE years! We have had Ernesto out here. We have had Philip out here....told that Pella will replace the windows (14) due to wood rot and leaky windows. We’ve been told Pella approved the replacement....yet here we are still waiting....nothing has been done. Get told that someone will be in touch to schedule....nothing. It’s exhausting and I’m so upset by the unprofessionalism and the lack of care or concern. We spent over $75k on windows....you would think they would want to take care of their customers. Especially these bigger homes. When I’m asked what windows to use, I always steer them away because of the piss poor customer service. The window itself is great. So upset with Pella Windows of Houston. I do not recommend them. Their upper management has been awful.

I don’t usually leave reviews but I had such an excellent experience using Pella I had to. We worked with Phil Wright who did an awesome job getting everything lined up for us. The installer Eric was always on time and easily the best remodel guy we have ever worked with - What a pro. Scheduling the different steps went smoothly. No complaints at all. We got exactly what we wanted and are very happy.

We wished to replace approximately 30 exterior doors and windows for our two story home. Joan and her team worked with us to make sure we found exactly the look and quality we were looking for. Joan made the entire process simple and comfortable with such a large change to our home. My wife and I spoke with several contractors and suppliers before coming to Pella, and none of them came close to the quality of service and products Joan and her team brought to bear. About a year ago, I arranged for Pella to replace some doors on my home. We ordered the doors, put down a deposit, and waited. A month or two later, I received a call saying the doors were delayed and would be late. its COVID so I get it, so be it. They get delayed again. At this point I had them refund my deposit and said we would try again later. Miraculously, about a month later my custom doors show up. They reach out, offer me a 50% discount on the ridiculous price. Honestly, I would have been a very unhappy camper if I had paid the full price for these doors. Not at all to the quality I thought I would get for the price. I would only be slightly begrudged to pay the 50% price, and even then the same thing can be had at Home Depot for less. I guess the brand new Mercedes SUV the sales rep pulled up in should have been a red flag. Alas, I agreed to the reduced price, and a couple weeks later they show up to install the doors. Apparently they completely forgot to mention prior to installation that doors werent actually complete and components were missing. That was 9 months ago. There have been a couple of attempts since to complete the doors, but each time they didnt have the correct parts. Since one of the items is an actual security concern, I took it upon myself to complete the doors. A week or so ago, I get another email from Pella saying they had the parts. I told them they were several months too late and that I had already sourced parts on the internet to complete the job myself. Now they are trying to collect payment. I told them Id be happy to pay when the send me the rest of the parts for my doors. Id bet money they dont even know whats missing, but then again third time could be the charm. Completely overpriced, completely unprofessional. I will never engage with this business again.Edited to Add: I hope it goes without saying that had I known the doors were incomplete, I never would have agreed to have them installed.

I purchased Pella Windows for my bedrooms and bath rooms. They have been the best windows I ever had. They are attractive and are excellent to keep the heat and cold out. I’ve recently purchased some additional windows for my front living room. They are top quality products and the salesperson was excellent. She answered all our questions and provided various options. I highly recommend Pella.

Gabriel did the installation and he did a fantastic job.! He installed the windows successfully and then reinstalled the blinds and drapery rods. 😊👏He cleaned up all of the debris and made certain the windows were all clean before he left.

I purchased Pella windows and doors for a number of reasons. The most important consideration to me was how long they would last. I have had windows replaced in the past that experienced fogging and leaks within three years of being installed and I did not want to deal with that again. The second consideration was efficiency. Using the sun defense glass I can not feel any heat on my exposed west facing windows. We have a second floor game room that is no longer a sauna. Number three consideration was price. Pella was not the lowest price but I also had a few quotes that were more expensive for what seemed like builder grade products. All in all I’m very pleased with my decision. I worked with Philip Wright for the purchase, Daniel Conde did a great job installing, and Dolores helped me with the scheduling and paperwork. Thank you Pella.

Pella replaced one of my entry doors with a double-glass venetian blind inside. Nice door.Terrible after service. Once you give them your $5000 forget about any call-backs from them. They took the hardware that has my house key cylinder. Ive contacted them by phone and email to get the cylinder returned but no luck. Calling them only gets you transferred from one department to another and then back again.They havent responded to my email. I guess by now theyve thrown away that cylinder. So I have to pay a locksmith to have my door keyed with my house key. Just be cautioned: make sure everything is taken care of before you make the final payment because thats the last youll ever hear from them.

Met with John Romero(Retail Sales Consultant) at their show room off 290. Saw what they had to offer and got quotes on 2 patio doors. Looked at some other vendors and thought Pella had the best product for the investment. Installation was scheduled a month out and everything was done on time and the doors look great. I highly recommend them. Good service and product.

Horrible customer service. I called June 1 st for an estimate. Said it would take 10 to 14 days. Its June 23 and still havent heard anything back. Ive called 4 times and same old run around.

If you want poor customer service and do no like call backs after you spend $5000, then go ahead and use them. I would not use this company again, nor would I recommend them either. The communication is absolutely terrible. From the Sales associate, Chris, to the office clerk, Kara, they do not communicate well and seldom return any calls. When you actually get a hold of them, they are helpful, but getting in touch with them is key. We ordered a three panel slider and two windows in July and as of today, 11-15-20, we FINALLY had the two windows installed. That was 4 months after the initial order!! Gabriel the installer was great and very helpful. He does great work but it seems as if Pella never provides him with all the materials to install the doors and windows. The three slider did not have the mull kit and the door was not trimmed out and complete. Gabriel had to make a second trip to complete the install. There was some minor damage to the door and Charles stated someone would be out to repair the door, and we still have not heard from or seen anyone about the issue. When the windows went to be installed, Pella ordered the wrong size and the windows had to be re-ordered. This was on 9-8-20. Finally, today, 11-15-20, two months later, the windows get installed, and once again, no trim and the windows do not look finished. We had all the windows on our home re-done (by a different company) and the company who put them in, trimmed everything out and the windows looked finished as if they had always been there. Now, a second appointment is needed once again. I am beyond frustrated and ready to for this job to be completed!

Pella replaced our inefficient old windows and doors with beautiful new ones that no only look amazing but make a huge difference in this Summer heat! Our sales representative Bridgette Cummings was wonderful in helping us choose the perfect product both for efficiency and aesthetics. Can’t say enough about the install team Eric and Derek either...wonderful hard workers who are mindful of all the other stuff in your home and do a fantastic job! Ive had the worst service from this company that you can ever Imagine, Im a business owner and at 46 this is the second time I write a bad review about a company. I placed an order on Jan. 27 for 17 Window Units and 1 French Door. Total amount was 9,277.66 at the time of the order I paid Pella$5,277.66 for the 50% they asked. I was told the windows would be delivered to me with in 4-6 Weeks.It was not until April 21 that I received part of my windows and the rest of the $4,000.00 was paid before they delivered part of the order.Right now may 6 we are still waiting on a window unit that is supposed to be delivered between May 10 - May 14. This company has been holding our home addition for Months now and guess what? they dont seem to care about it one bit!Just terrible customer service, if someone is planning to order windows dont buy here unless you have lots of patience and you are in no hurry at all!!!

I am a prior client with a not very good experience in the past ( that will take another post) but I thought I would give Pella another chance. I felt I would receive some priority service given that I spent a significant amount of money in the past. On the day, Monday, of the appointment I was called by the representative who stated that she was just bitten by an ant and was not going to keep the appointment. I tried to get another appointment and was told that it would be after 5 pm several days later. Pella is a disappointment in the service they provide. They rely on young sales people with no installation experience who they train to sell there product. Your taking your chances by signing a contract without meeting with the person(s) doing the installation. We should expect better service from experienced people who work hands on directly in the trade for that type of money. Relying on the name to sell a product is not enough.

Update: We received our patio door, and its now installed, although our new house is not quite completed. Beautiful, easy to operate, quiet, well insulated. And attractive. Highly recommended.We saw a sliding glass patio door by Pella at a big box hardware store that we liked a lot, but the store staff wasnt familiar with the product and had trouble working up a price. I visited the Pella website and asked for a home visit and was called within a few hours of my request. The rep was knowledgeable and courteous and after learning that we were in the process of building a house and that we had seen the product, he offered to quote the product online. I received a detailed quote within the hour, at a considerable savings over what the hardware store was asking. We ordered the door and and are looking forward to receiving it in a few days. My general contractor will install it. Ill add to this review when the door is installed and functional.I cant say enough about what a pleasant buying experience this turned out to be. We got the product that we wanted with absolutely no hassle and at a pleasing savings. Everyone that we dealt with from Luis to Kara has been professional and attentive. Buy from Pella, you wont be disappointed.

I was not sure of how to solve my door problem as some parts were missing or broken. The call taker was able to determine what my problem was and how to possible repair it myself or have a tech do the repair. It was determined what parts were needed and they were sent to me and a tech scheduled to replace the broken parts. I never experienced such great help and the friendliness of the tech who came to repair the door. YES, I would recommend a Pella door and service to any person who needs professional help with a problem and a tech who is friendly doing the repairs. I hope Pella keeps up the good work.

I called to set up a consultation. I could barely hear the representative taking my call because of all that chatter in the background. Additionally, when giving him my contact information he could not correctly repeat back the spelling. Not sure if it was due to the noise or a language barrier. It was very frustrating. I ultimately shared him that I had another call and politely ended the call. Ive heard great things about this company but I cant see how they can do business without representatives who can actually communicate with their customers. Very disappointed.

John Romero was fantastic in showing us the different options and designs that were available for our large window project (40+ windows). Further, he was very communicative via email or phone whenever we had any questions or concerns. The installation team was extremely thorough, took their time addressing any potential areas, courteous and cleared up their work area after each day. Pella is far from being an inexpensive option when it comes to remodeling windows. However, you are paying for a quality product, communication, and excellent warranty. Until stated otherwise, I am going to assume that after-service and warranty claims will be just as good.

Beautiful designs

My wife and I enjoyed our experience with Fred as he went through the many selections that were available from Pella to replace our front door. He was so patient with us as we asked question after question. He put together multiple configurations with pricing and we discussed the pros and cons of each configuration. We never felt any type of pressure to purchase something right then. We look forward to the installation process. Our expectations for that is that it will be performed as expertly as the sales presentation was done. I will add to this review as we go through the installation. The prices are super high and it took around a week to get a price for a door system.

Kenny was awesome. So very helpful in coming by and assessing our needs. Wasn’t pushy and seemed to genuinely want to do what was best for us. We will be out to the showroom to get all the details on our new door.

Just had our windows installed and they are great!! We had another company come out a while back that gave us the run around leaving us feeling scammed. PELLA came and gave us a quote the same day, one price and left us feeling whole. Thank you for seeing the value in us as we do you and your company. Would highly recommend.

I had a great experiences from the beginning to end. From the first appointment to finish installation, it was 5 star jobs from many conscientious people in their company.

Excellent service - informative and professional.

I called Pella today to schedule a visit/consultation to obtain a storm door. I spent nearly 15minutes on the phone with their operator who had to gather all my details, name, email, address, phone number, alternate phone number and then he had to repeat it back to me before they could tell me appointment times. Finally I get an appointment time set and literally 2 hours later I got a phone call saying “sorry we don’t install storm doors because they have a contract with Lowe’s”.It would have saved a lot of people’s time if they would have told me that from the beginning!Now they have all my contact details saved, Pella probably does that so they can sell peoples contact information. Really disappointing and frustrating.

Although I love Pella Windows and Ive had great success with them at my house this location leaves a lot to be desired. Made a special trip across Houston to check out their showroom looking at some new windows. Only to be told that they cant discuss any pricing and delivery. To be able to get any details you must have one of their sales reps come to your house. This was a complete waste of my time visiting the showroom.

Kenny Chrisroph called before coming out just as the email said he would. He showed up on time. I had given him what I was interested in doing and I expressed that I only wanted to talk about a window project. I asked that he not try to sell me windows for the entire house. He came with samples and carefully listened to what I wanted and kept his focus on only my intended project—thank you. He then explained the options Pella could provide to meet my needs. He even face-timed with a guy in their showroom to show me a particular operation of a window. He was pleasant and easy-going. I received a quote on the options we selected and am very happy with the quote. Thank you Kenny. We will stick with you guys for our window needs.

John R. provided a professional assessment of our needs and clearly laid out the options that might be of benefit to us vs. those that would not be. He was knowledgeable about Pella products and window installation process, and was able to provide quotes before he left.

Watch your contract for financing. Roy, one of the installer was great, but the others lack of addressing property inside and out. The windows, so far, so good, except 1 mistake and ordered one wrong window. There needs to be follow up.
