A few years ago, Amstill came out to inspect my roof and I appreciated that they provided both replacement and repair/maintenance estimates to help get a little more life out of the roof. We just had the roof replaced before selling our house, and Amstill worked with us while we were out of town to make sure the project went off without a hitch - they even sent before and after pictures to show us what theyd done! I was pleased with their service, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs work done on their roof.

Very professional from the person who answers the phone to Griffin who came to the house to evaluate my roof. If you want integrity choose this company. Did not try to sell me a new roof when I didn’t need one. Told me I could have it sealed and it would take care of the problem. Id recommend Amstill in a heartbeat. From the day that their very professional and knowledgeable representative, Lee Perez, came to see what we needed, to the end of the installation, everything went like clockwork. All the office staff that I had contact with, including Michelle, Brian, Kelly & Lindsey, were a pleasure to deal with. As I had to pay for my roof out of pocket (no insurance claim), I contacted six other companies for quotes and Amstill came in with the best price, best quality and made me feel confident that my money would be well spent. On the big day, JB and the installation team, who turned out to be very friendly guys, arrived on time, wasted no time in getting started and did a great job. Everything was finished by mid-afternoon, including the installation of a new skylight and solar powered attic fan, and the roof looks great.

Very professional and organized so far. Brought documents explaining everything and the different options. The kind of company they may charge a little more but its worth it for the long haul. Havent used them for any work yet but good chance I will.

We had a new roof installed on our house and garage. Hunter did a great job explaining everything and even came back to our home on a Sunday to answer questions that my husband had.The crew finished the job in one day. We had a free visit from Amstill Roofing to check and see if our roof was leaking. We had a mold problem and thought we would check out the roof first and make sure it was OK. Adam was very well informed and a very pleasant person. He checked everything out and determined we did not have a roof leak and gave us a referral to another company that might be able to help us. In the future if we do need a roof replaced, Amstill will be the first company we call. They are honest and came promptly.

I was very pleased with Jose from Amstill roofing. I requested a basic inspection and a few minor repairs. He replaced several damaged shingles, re-sealed flashing, and painted various vents.He was very professional, knowledgeable, and hardworking. Highly recommend!! My wife and I recently contracted with Amstill for residential roof replacement. They were very responsive in all communications, on-time for every appointment as well as the install. They assisted us with the insurance claim and conversations with the adjuster. We had our new roof installed in 2016 and in 2021 noticed a small leak around our chimney (not due to installation but wear and tear, Harvey in 2017 more than anything else) Manny and Jose came back, looked it over and made some updates. Amstill and Manny and Jose were professional, courteous and stood behind their product and their work. Highly recommend this company, true professionals who take pride in quality service, even 5 years later!

The company website looked very professional and I gave them a call, which was answered immediately and my case and questions were handled in a very professional and friendly manner. I was able to set up an inspection appointment within two days. The technician came on time, was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. He explained and showed me the damage to my roof, and educated me about my different options and prices for a new roof, without any pressure of buying anything. I felt in trustful hands with this company and I am already sure that I will hire them to do the roof work on my house.

I recently had my roof replaced. It was the original roof from when I bought the house. Jonathan was very professional and attentive. Made sure I understood everything and checked in every step of the way. There was a delay on my end but they were very accommodating and made sure everything went according to plan on their end of things. Day of the repair went really smooth and the crew did an amazing job from start to clean up. As I did my final walk through, I realized there was no trash, scraps or any sign that my roof had just been replaced. I was very pleased with the service I received from Amstill and will be recommending them to anyone in the future who needs roof repairs or replacements. Thank you again everyone at Amstill.

I went to Owens Corning website based on Consumer Reports high rated Duration series shingles Shasta White energy star rated. I requested 4 Platinum Preferred Contractors to contact me and only Amstill Stilley Roofing contracted me. I had many questions and the owner Sam Stilley called me on a Friday evening to help answer them. The next Monday I had an old roof removed and a new roof installed. Thank you José, Hunter and Hunter for making my family and I feel comfortable during the process. Thank you Sam for your personal free time to answer all my questions and just for listening to what I had to say. Meant a lot to me.

From the first meeting with Sam, to the completed installation with Robert and office follow up with Destiny. All were GREAT. Professional. Robert answered a lot of questions and with great confidence. Sure it costs a lot and my deductible was hefty but it is worth it for my main investment of our home. ;) It looks wonderful. We had a consultant come check on a roof leak, make an appointment the next business day to investigate further with drone footage, and no one showed up.The office apparently cancelled our appointment because it was a repair they could not handle, referred us to another company, but not communicate a word of this to us until we reached out to them after the missed appointment time.The only reason why this isnt a 1-star review is due to the work of the consultant who did his best without knowledge of what his office was mishandling.EDIT to 4-Stars:The owner replied below and explained this issue, just a simple miscommunication between the office. It happens, but it did impact how quickly we could get this problem looked at and solved while storm clouds keep rolling into Houston.

I found this company through Best Picks Reports because I was needing some roof repairs due to a leak. Griffin, the technician, did an inspection and found the problem areas. He also noticed a part of the roof that had substantial damage and brought it to my attention. The total cost was about $1,500. I give them 5 stars because the entire process was easy, with a few hiccups, but great to deal with overall. I did get a second opinion from another company. They wanted to charge me over $3000 just to do the same work. However, it was because of the high grade, 30 year guaranteed materials they used that upped the quote. I had to pass as I am a paycheck to paycheck homeowner.

Griffin showed up on time. Very polite.Turns out that the roof wasn’t leaking. He did find a leak in the attic from a plumbing source. Even took time to caulk a possible future source of a leak, and gave me some information on roof maintenance that I could do personally to prevent roof failures.

We had cedar shake under our existing roof so it was a big job but they still finished it in one day. They were there when they said they would be and had a great crew who did the work. They covered our windows for protection and did a great job cleaning up everything. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof or a repair. Their prices were competitive and they worked very well with our insurance company even though we ended up not going through insurance.

After our area and home was impacted by two hurricanes and the SW Louisiana gulf coast, we had extensive damage to our shingles and which compromised the integrity of our roof. Initially we were working with another company for the emergency tarping of our home, but could never speak to any representative or have anyone follow up on steps to procedeed for roof repair/replacement. Angel, was the first to contact us by knocking on our door after noticing the tarps and damage remains, and he gave us Adam Prentice’s contact information. Adam was contacted and right away, Adam made us feel like we were their sole purpose of their work despite the numerous other jobs they had the in process and going on at the time. Adam was patient and very knowledgeable in the directions need to take in pursing a second insurance assessment after the first appraisal only approved a partial repair. After weeks of waiting on insurance and getting the appraisal, Adam did an exceptional job at keeping in contact to figure out the time frame and approval decision on our roof. Insurance approved our home for a complete new roof and Amstill Roofing did an exceptional job with installation. Adam was a great, professional project manager that made the entire process a breeze. If anyone is in the market for a new roof, I would recommend Adam Prentice and the Amstill Roofing Team every time!Side note, 2 weeks after our roof was complete, Adam Prentice saw on the news that our area was impacted by terrible flash flooding. He was the first person outside of my family that called ME to check on my family and our house. It just doesn’t get more personal than that! Adam is the man!

Extremely professional, competent, and knowledgeable. From our first meeting, Jonathan walked us through the entire roof replacement process, made many good suggestions about improvements to make along the way, and helped out during the entire job. Several of the improvements were things we never would have thought of that will protect the flatter parts of the roof from water damage. The whole crew was very thorough with excellent attention to detail on every aspect of the job including sealing the corners, siding, and chimney, and the cleanup, which appears to have been perfect. The new roof looks great, probably. much better than the original roof on the house did when it was new.

I hired Amstill Roofing to do a slate roof on my home in the Woodlands Texas, not a super big job but not small, my home is 7,000 square feet so on the larger side. The install crew was absolutely impeccable, absolutely flawless install, I am very very picky and a clean freak, the team literally cleaned each evening at the end of the day, picking up every single nail every little piece of shingle / trash, swept, blew the driveway off, all materials neatly stacked just a fantastic job. They have the office crew that calls ( Destiney) and gives updates through out the job, they have superintendents that often come by and check on the job making sure all is good and if i had any complaints or request, the sales team Samuel was on point never ever missed a txt always responded ( even on weekends) just all and all a pleasure to work with. I called DaVinci myself to look into Amstill and the Slate supplier DaVinci was their number one rated install team in addition the best price. I am taking the time to write this review because these types of reviews help future customers and i am big on reading other customers feed back.

I initially sent a message request in their website and also called them twice with my information about everything they need to do roof inspection. After spending time with them, they said they are unable to inspect houses with more than 2 floors. So, why didnt they ask it earlier?!!! And unable to refer to other companies after asking them?!!!

We needed a new roof and that’s were we met Kurt who is a representative of Amstil roofing. After talking to multiple contractors he was the main reason we choose to use this particular roofing company. The crew showed up on time and started their work promptly. The pool the sides of the house the garden area were all covered from falling debris due to the tear down. They had a Forman on sight who addressed my concerns. The guys did an amazing job and even though Kurt the field rep was busy on another site he still came by over the course of the day to oversee the progress of our roof. I had been looking for a roofer because the first estimate I received was from a roofer that told me to go and pick out shingles at a roofing store that he suggested and when I did the store manager told me they no longer did business with that roofer which gave me concerns about hiring that roofer. I was driving and saw the Amstill sign infront of a house they had just finished and the roof looked beautiful. I went home and looked up their reviews which was 4.9 higher than any other roofing company I could find. I called them and made an appt and the owners son came out and explained thoroughly the process, warranty and the product that he recommended which about 3 different grades to choose from. I chose the Certanteed pro series more black high definition. . I later received a call after giving them the go ahead from their office explaining to me what would transpire. She told me that at 730 am on Thursday the roofing material would be delivered and set in the driveway to make sure the gate was open and the driveway clear. The same time the roofers would arrive and the roof would be completed by 2 pm. She assured me the site would be cleaned and free of all debris and nails when they left. I can tell you that all of the above worked seamlessly and I am very happy with my new roof with a 12 year warranty. I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering re roofing their home. There are allot of bad contractors out there but this one is not one of them. The whole staff down to the secretary, works and owners were a pleasure to deal with.Sincerely,Michael Olsen

Replacing your roof is one of the most major decision a home owner makes. I was totally new to the process, the only thing I knew, I needed a new roof. After praying and researching I read the reviews on Amstill Roofing and thought to reach out to the company. Lucky for me, I went walking I saw their sign in a yard. I introduced myself to Jonathan Praeger. We scheduled a meeting at my house and from the very first Jonathan was knowledgeable, friendly, professional and very hands on. He walked me through the process, from what to expect from the insurance company and if this didnt work my next step. He was totally awesome, working with Jonathan I knew I wasnt in this alone. When I made the appointment with the insurance adjuster, Jonathan came out and walked with the adjuster on the roof. I was able to sit in my yard with Sharon and watch the two guys on my roof, talk, make notations and talk some more. What was truly wonderful, they both basically told me the same thing, even when they werent together. I was able to ask all of my questions to Jonathan and he patiently answered them. Not once, was there ever a daily and receiving a response back. I worked with Destiney to schedule the appointment for the roof and she was very thorough in explaining exactly what would happen the day of the roofing, down to the detail of the time every would start to when it was expected to finish. She like Jonathan was very accessible and friendly when responding to my questions. Manny was the project manager, and he was unbelievable, he walked me through what to expect, went over the materials I ordered, showed me how everything was going to be done. He was amazing. The crew was well organized and cleaned up after the job. From looking at my yard afterwards, you never would have guessed I had a roof removed and replaced the same day.I would recommend Amstill Stilley Roofing to anyone looking for a professional, hands on, honest, thorough and kind roofing company. Absolutely Terrible Communication!The job was approved before I got credit approval. This was actually confirmed by one of the reps 2 days before job. Then when credit didnt go through they absolutely hounded me for the payment while I was working. After some back and forth and telling them I didnt appreciate that they agreed to stop but explained their boss was behind the pressure. I eventually gave them my payment info for an installment plan that was agreed upon. Then they kept calling again because they Lost the payment info I had given the rep! They were Very vague about their credit procedure from beginning, when it became clear they hounded me, then when given info to settle they lost it and hounded again. Very frustrating, messy, irresponsible and unprofessional dealings. They have their facts very mixed up and often become argumentative and combative. This says a lot about their conduct and ethics as a company. Be it as it may, they still got Paid so this makes me a paying customer. Sad to see such treatment of their paying customers. 👎🏼👎🏼

Called a few contractors to obtain estimates before choosing Amstill; 1st person came out, did a quick walk through & quoted a patchwork amount, said roof had some life left despite shingles flying off frequently, 2nd person gave me an estimate even before assessing the entire roof claiming they go high if its dealing with insurance, 3rd person eyeballed it from the driveway & side of the house, brought no ladder, no business cards. Started to wonder what am I dealing with. Last contractor was Amstill & glad I found them. Hunter was very thorough with the inspection & actually took some time surveying the area, even explaining how the entire process from start to finish goes. They did a great job, finished earlier than expected & cleaned up well. Have had no problems since & new roof looks great.

We met with about five other roofing companies and they were not able to get the job done and assist in getting our insurance claim done .. Griffin Ellis was able make other suggestions and assist us in going to battle with the insurance company and not only get our claim approved but get the roof replaced as well as extensive interior damage. I would highly recommend this establishment for any of your roofing needs.

They delivered exactly as promised. Done in one day with a high quality roof at a good price. The thing that impressed me the most and left me feeling positive is the attention they paid to the clean up when they were done. Last week I called them to do a skylight repair and they scheduled an appointment with me but they seemed really interested in my roof. I told them that I did not want my roof looked at. They told me they wouldnt. I asked for a quote and they told me they would give it to me when they arrived. The day came of my appointment and they were very nice and they showed up on time but again they were more interested in my roof then the repair they were called out for. They kept talking bad about the people who had serviced my roof before (unsolicited advice) and told me that the minimum they charge is $400 per visit so I needed to have my roof serviced to make it worth it. Honestly, if I would have known that they had a minimum charge of $400 then I would have never wasted their time or mine. I also got 2 other opinions as what they were suggesting was a little extreme and what Amstill told me contradicted to what the other two companies told me. Moral of the story: they have a minimum charge of $400 and these people are probably great at selling roofs but skylights is not their primary business.

Sam and his team did a great job. They were very patient during our decision process (which took a while) and made communication with our tenant a breeze! We are out of state owners, so this really helped us.

Arrived early and finished the job in one day! The men worked hard and the area was spotless when they were done. They go in the attic and make sure everything is secured properly to prevent electrical or fire hazards. The roof looks great and we were able to save over $900 on our home owners insurance now that we have a new roof. Highly recommend Amstill.

When I contacted Amstill Roofing they sent out a wonderful young man, Robert McFadden. Robert was knowledgeable, helpful and patient throughout the whole process. He answered all my questions. He helped me work with our HOA. He was onsite at the start of the job and the finish. He came back after the job completion and checked the attics for debris that needed to be cleaned up and to clean some spots on the stucco. If I need anything all I have to do is contact him and he will return. Wonderful customer service from him. If you need a new roof, be sure and ask for Robert!

Adam Prentiss worked with us to get our hail-damaged roof replaced. He was so helpful, professional and courteous throughout our experience! The roofing crew was amazing! They completed our 1-story 3000 sq ft home in 1 day. Cleaned up totally and left our yard looking clean and neat. I cannot say enough good things about Adam and our experience. We just got a new roof on 6/1/2020 from these guys, and we could not be more pleased with our entire experience! They were responsive, courteous, timely, professional, and just an all around great company to do business with. Adam was so thorough and took time to talk with us about the entire process, so there were no surprises at all. The price was comparable to most other places we checked. They moved all our outdoor furniture and yard art and covered the entire perimeter of the house with tarps. They also covered THE ENTIRE POOL with a tarp. They cleaned out the gutters when they were done and went over the yard and driveway with the magnet pole several times. I dont leave a ton of reviews, but I like to share good experiences with people, and this is definitely one of them. Dealing with home repair is such a hassle that we usually put it off just because of the dread of dealing with bad contractors, but this time I could not have been happier. It was really great! Highly recommend them for your roofing project! Oh and I almost forgot - they took cool drone photos of our house from directly overhead and sent them to us, so that was a nice little surprise!

At this time I have only received a roof inspection and estimate of work required. I will probably use their services but have not consented for work to begin.

David did a thorough inspection and provided a proposal for a superior roof replacement. Was the best of three proposals I received. Signed a contract and had to deal with weather delays of more than a week. When it was workable, Amstill came out with a large crew and completed the job that day. They did a thorough cleanup job and when they were done, other than their sign and a beautiful new roof, you would never know they had been there. They worked with my insurance carrier to get me a substantially better roof than the insurance companys quote.

Great company! Replaced a 22 year old roof due to hail damage & they made everything so easy. Hunter explained the process & answered all our questions. They finished ahead of schedule & took care w our shrubs & picking up everything so our dogs wouldn’t! We are very happy with the excellent workmanship & quality of the product. The best part is that they had enough people in their crew to get my roof installed in one day. They had a supervisor on the job the whole time and the owner even came by to take a look at the job. Griffin helped identify problems with my aging roof, assisted, followed up on several occasions and scheduled the roofing crew as soon as he could. Once the roofing crew was here, they were on site as expected, started working and didnt stop until every thing was completed. Crew did an excellent job. Griffin was on top of the process throughout the complete job. He was on site inspecting and was great. I would go with them again next time. Satisfied - completely.

Amstill was the only company that we got a bid from that went and looked in our attic. Their bid price was fair, and there was flexibility when it came to choosing the shingles.Adam Prentice (project manager) was amazing. He was always available for questions, and worked with us when dealing with the HOA and when we had to reschedule. He also stayed until almost 9pm to do another sweep for nails and debris around the house.Our roof looks great, and we are very happy with how it turned out. I highly recommend them.

Efrin was my salesperson and I didnt see him on the roster to choose from. He was very friendly and professional. This is my 5th journey with AMSTILL. I was referred to AMSTILL from a friend after she had her roof put on. I referred AMSTILL to my mother. AMSTILL put a roof on for my mother. She in turn referred AMSTILL to my nephew. I later had my residence roofed by AMSTILL. It had been several years that I had my roof before HURRICANE IKE came through, but I did not lose a shingle. Just about every house on my street had to put on another roof. I had many referrals for AMSTILL, but you were already booked. One of my neighbors did not get good service and has been back and forth with their roofer since IKE.(She will probably be your next referral) I also put your roofs on 2 rentals. The latest being August 24, 2020, right before HURRICANE LAURA. I was rescheduled twice due to rain, heat, and probably COVID, but I was also going to wait until you could get it done. I wouldnt think of going with anyone else. I love the one day service and the clean up afterward. I especially love the financing!!!!!

Amstill Roofing did a wonderful job on our new roof. Adam Prentice, the Project Manager, was very professional and did a very thorough job. For several reasons we had to delay the job but Adam was very patient and made things happen when at last we were able to proceed. My wife and I were very happy with both the result and the speed. Adam had a relatively large crew and they were able to do a great job in plenty enough time to allow us to put all of our potted plants back in their places the same day. We had seen other homes in our neighborhood done by Amstill and we had high expectations. They very much met all of our expectations.
