Just bought a 6 x 12 cargo trailer at Big Tex. Everything about the transaction and the pick up was excellent. Patrick the sales man took good care of me and answered all of my questions. When I came to pick it up we discovered one of the LED lights in the back was out.I was directed back to the shop, and the repair was done in about five minutes and I was on my way. The total time, about 30 minutes, that I spent there I learned more about trailers and hauling trailers than I had learned in about 40 years. Patrick Educated me about chain placement, Jacob Taught me a bunch about electrical connectors and Vincent who seems to do everything there in the shop from welding to carpentry to electrical work helped me understand proper loading. Very helpful and knowledgeable young men all. Highly recommend!

Picked up new trailer today.Coupler welded in a little bit of a twist.Was toldi just dont see it,but its note worthy.Been down 2 weeks because of last new trailer that had even worse issues.My opinion of BIG flex hasnt changed.The sales and service people are nice courteous and doing their jobs as they should.The quality of the product leaves a lot to be desired!

Wanted to take a minute to give these guys a thumbs up for their customer service. I had taken my trailer for a PM at the Big Tex in Broussard LA and they were hands down the worst trailer shop I’d ever encountered. I called Tom with corporate and he advised me to take my trailer to the shop in Houston. Jacob, the shop manager, was a tremendous help. They took care of not only the PM service that was done wrong at the Broussard location but also found an issue (probably caused by incorrect placement of barring in Louisiana). Tom and Jacob’s attention to this issue deserves a lot of praise and I highly recommend anyone who needs trailer maintenance to go see Jacob up in Houston.

Knew exactly the trailer I was looking for but had difficulty locating one in inventory. Fortunately Patrick, with this location, stated on the phone that he had one. Had a seal leak that oil soaked one of my brakes and had a load on. Called Jacob while I was on the road and he said bring it in and we can get it fixed up. Showed up a day and a half later and he was true to his word was in there about 2 hours and back on the road again. The week of May17th, 2021, I traveled to Houston from Brenham to pick up some farm equipment and needed a trailer to haul it back with. After a miscommunication on my part, I realized I should have been IN Tomball dealing with Dalton instead at the N. Houston location. Patrick and Dalton worked together to get me what I needed at the Houston location, and were very timely about doing so! Patrick got all my paperwork done quickly and the trailer prepped in less than 20 minutes. Ill shop at Big Tex again if I ever need another trailer!!

Just purchased my 2020 Big Tex 25GN-40’ trailer at this location! I drove over 1600 miles to by a truck and trailer down in the Houston area and I am not disappointed! Patrick Brown is a phenomenal part of the team there at Big Tex Trailer World and he went above and beyond my expectations to get the trailer sold to me and on the road! I had a price in mind and he worked with me to get me where I needed to be and I guarantee I will be buying another trailer from Patrick when the time comes. Patrick set up the wire transfer and made sure everything went smooth. The day of pick up went smooth. The trailer was ready to roll with minor adjustments to the gooseneck. He had the mechanic come up and make the adjustment super quick and on the road I went. Purchased my 2019 22GN 40ft Big Tex trailer here almost 2yrs ago Aug 2018 to be exact on sale for $18,000 cash. I couldnt be happier with the performance and durability of this trailer. Then if ever I have a problem Jacob the service manager is a God send he treats me like family! Hes always open honest and fair not just looking to take your money. I needed to replace bearings and a oil bath on one of my hubs. He took several phone calls from me and walked me through the repair process. He gave me all the socket sizes I needed for my lugs my hub cap and spindle nut. Instead of trying to get me to bring it in and make more money off me, he encouraged me to attempt the repairs on my own and only offered his services as a last resort. Only if I was unable to complete the repair myself. He showed unbelievable patience and integrity Ill be a customer for life you cant go wrong at Big Tex Trailer World they got it together over there.

I just brought a 30-foot dovetail trailer with 8,000 lb axles with the oil bath,started having trouble with one of my hugs heading to North Carolina, the two companies in Alabama could not help me, the two companies and North Carolina could not help me so I had to drive back to Houston Texas and the place that I brought my trailer from which is PNP trailer sales never got back with me, big Tex trailer world off of 45 told me to bring it in hell take a look at it and possibly put me in a rental so I can continue running my businessthat is exactly what they did I would like to tip my hat to Jacob Renfro and his service technician for taking care of me

These guys are the best the went above and beyond staying 30 minutes late the first day to attempt the close of the sale. Both the Sales Rep Oscar Olivares and the service manager took care of the issues at hand so I could get safely on my way and checked the lights and we found the fuses both had been blow on my trucks trailer turn signals. Also they spot welded and fabricated a bracket that was missing within minutes to insure safe gate close on the Big Tex 16x7x4 dump trailer I was purchasing.

My 40ft 2020 25GN mistakenly had the wrong axles on it, as I researched a solution to the problem I discovered it was a very rare mistake. Jacob the service manager was made aware of the issue, he contacted the factory and ccd me on every email, new axles were ordered and Jacob scheduled an appointment with me to install the new parts, I only lost one day of work which made my wife happy because she had a honey do list. Im very happy with the service and prompt attention I received from Jacob and the BigTex team.

This is a great location for all your trailer needs I have been working with these guys for at least three years or more Mr. Renfro is your man to talk to when you need something done right the first time. they even go out on a limb to allow my company to due business with a Net 30 account. Which comes in handy sometimes Their accounting team is on the moneywhen it comes to sales and billing. How do I know this, lets just say the customer is not always right.When your in need of something special for your trailer stop by and holler at Mr. Renfro hes been at this since a kid !!! he knows his s$%@.

I purchased a 18 ft. Open trailer and a spare wheel and tire from them.At the time of my purchase I didnt know much about trailers. What kind of maintenance, how frequently to do the maintenance, what kind of tires to use, etc.I explained to the sales person how I was going to use the trailer. I was going to put at least 100,000 miles per year on it.The sales person didnt tell me some basic things that I needed to know about the maintenance, tires, etc.Let me pause for a minute and address those people that say you need to do your own research before purchasing the trailer. Part of the purchase price we pay includes the salary of the sales staff. The sales person has the responsibility to inform the customer of important things about the equipment. Their business model is setup that way. If they changed their business model to something like a supermarket. I would agree with your statement of do your own research. With the supermarket business model the customer doesnt pay for sales staff. The supermarket customer already knows what they want before they go to the store.Returning to issue at hand. When you put 100,000 miles on a trailer you need to use radial tires that are rated for the speed an weight that you are traveling at. The factory tires that came with the trailer blowup or wore out in a matter of 500 miles.Another thing the sales person should have told me is that I needed to change the grease and bearings every 10,000 miles (at the latest). Both axles were damaged and I had to purchase new ones.The sales staff are unprofessional. Their customer service is no good. The Big Tex product is good.My recommendation is as follows:If you are like I was (dont know about trailers), dont even consider talking with anyone here.If you know every detail of what youre looking for and this location sales it, go ahead and purchase it if they are willing to give you a 20% discount (from the price of another dealership).

I didn’t actually buy any trailer or anything from this place, I had a long day coming from school and my car had quit on me due to a cable connection. I immediately saw a guy I can’t recall his name but he came to my Aide and got his tools and fixed my car I was up and running in less than 20 minutes. With that being said you can’t find to many generous people out there that’s willing to help w/o saying oh you can’t be here more than 15 minutes, I know different from my experience today with them so I know they are worthy of giving anyone the best deal that’s looking for a trailer. Recently, I needed to relocate my 66 Chevy truck from North Texas to Houston where we had bought a new home.I had called Big Tex originally to purchase an electric brake controller that I needed to install so I could rent a trailer from another trailer rental company. As it turned out, Big Tex didnt have my part, but Christine Martinez called a contact and found the make & model I was looking for locally. It was the last one in his store and she convinced him to put it on hold for me.I was so impressed with the service at Big Tex that I canceled my reservation with the other company and rented a trailer from Big Tex instead. Christine had me on the road in no time and with no hassle at all.I can;t say enough about Ms. Martinez professionalism, knowledge, people and organizational skills. It looked to me like she was running the whole operation at the Houston site.Big Tex has the inventory, the best quality product and the friendliest staff of anyone I had called. I highly recommend this company!

I was at a Trailer company waiting outside, while my husband was inside getting a quote for two Cargo Trailers. and decided Call them. I Was sold when I was told they go out of their way to ensure that they specifically use heavy duty hitches on their cargo trailers which run them about 200.00. He explained the safety of them which I knew, but even threw in an example of an accident.i asked if he had two, he sent someone to Check, and yes he stated they had two. I made sure to double check that they both had the hitches, he sent someone, came back with a yes. At any rate, the price was better so I got my husband and we drove from Spring to Houston. We get there, and they only have one. They only had one to begin with. A little bit of back and forth and only took 50$ off the price. But in the initial phone call, 200.00 is what they pay for the hitch. I went to the owners office whom I spoke to on the phone, he didn’t care, in fact while I’m speaking his salesman called him from his office to say that my husband had already signed all the paperwork.This was 4 days post hurricane Harvey and we were desperate.Decide for yourself... But use caution.

Jacob and the service team went above and beyond to repair my Aluma 18 car hauler under warranty. I actually purchased the trailer at TSI trailers in Dallas and tried to fix and only made things worse. Big Tex took over and fixed everything perfectly. They most definitely have my business from now on. Jacob kept me informed during the entire process and even fixed an item that I was unaware of all at no cost to me. Lied about everything. I booked three months in advance, and called every week to verify the trailer up until the day I picked it up. Trailer was broke, had nails and tires and back door didnt open. The other trailer they brought the side deal was stuck shut. Poor service spent 3.5 hours there and was late to Dallas event. Nothing but excuses and lies. Never again.

I am so disappointed in Big Tex, off of 45 freeway. I was having issues with one of the trailers that I bought from them, took it in, and they needed to contact the warranty department. It has been a month, and have not heard from them. I have called, and left emails. when I did get a response, I was lied to and told that the warranty department is closed for a week due to the holiday that was coming up in a week. That didnt make sense to me but I still waited a week, and have not heard from them since. I have emailed the manager, twice, and still no reply. when I called the warranty department, they told me they never received my paperwork so Big Tex never sent my paperwork to them. David, a salesman at Big Tex was ABSOLUTLEY no help at all and extremely rude. I caught him in the middle of a sentence saying he threw my order sheet in a pile somewhere. He was just a waste of space in that office. They do not respond at all and when they do, they feed you lies. I have purchased my next trailers through a different company and waiting for it to arrive. I will let you know how that company is but so far, they are great! lesson learned- never to work with Big Tex Trailers again.

They denied me service so long, the fear of losing my spot in line, disgustingly outweighed my desire to use the restroom, inside the bathroom. So as Im urinating in my pants, my number finally gets called up. So Eduardo, nice guy BTW, tells me the prior renter/ homeless person, used the inside of it like a monkey that was angry at the poop he just made. Feeling all the same as the monkey in question, I decided to add to, the fecal festivities. Highly recommended. Will for sure use them again.NOT

Dont expect a call back from this location. I called 5/15/2017 spoke to a salesman and never confirmed if trailer was available. I then call 5/16/2017 and same story they said they would call back and they didnt. I was driving 200+ miles so i needed to make sure trailer was in stock. I ended up taking my business to another Big Tex location.

I went in this Saturday to get things finalized with financing on a 40 ft gooseneck trailer and recieved the most rushed service by the sales guy Steve. He was very rude and impatient especially towards me as a women i was totally uncomfortable with the very disrespectful service by Steve. Sad thing is i wish Patrick my original sales guy was there because he is a true class act and man of integrity and sales.

Brought my trailer in for service, was told that i needed to replace all kindas of parts. Kept my trailer for 5 days and didnt fix the alignment. Even after i told them that was the problem. I took it else where and was fixed within 30 minutes. BIG TeX is a rip off they dont have certified techs. Go somewhere else.

Brian Ferrell was a great help when I called him for breaks and hubs for my trailer he told me they had everything I Needed but two hubs but that he would try and find them for me when I showed up to pick up my parts he had found the other two hubs I needed making my day much easier. Thanks Brian.

BAD MANAGEMENT and lazy people just sitting and talking to each other at the front desk. Those lazy people getting paid for doing nothing dont even notice there are customers waiting in line.Management give that Hispanic guy a raise since hes the only one working in the front desk.

We bought a Model: 60CH-16BK I will admit I was confused about the capacity of the trailer until my business partner explained it to me so I called them back to see about bringing it back and getting a bigger trailer. They offered me a 1k less for the trailer and it has not been used. Our sales person Patrick gave us the runaround and said his GM would not do any better because they had already filed for the title. All was a lie Justin Mims is the GM and its 3 months later and we still cant even get the title from them so we can resell it. Do not do business with these people. Trucks and trailers are a dime a dozen call me old school but people used to be pride in selling their craft and establishing long-term business relationships with customers. Unfortunately this kid running the show now does not have a clue how regular folks in Texas do business.
