They are so sweet. Very friendly and everyone very helpful. I give thanks to God for angels without wings who are helping people in need it.
God bless your labor of love.
Very very nice
I had the best help for my familys introduction to US. They are taking care of them about almost everything. Janvier and Kerry are the best!Still it is a NGO so do not expect anything like customer service. Since this is Houston they have probably much higher volume of immigrants than any other cities. If you do follow your case they will follow it as well but they cannot do everything for you.
Very sensitive.
They are really helpful the only problem is long waiting time even if you have appointment
I work for the Y and can honestly say I love working here. My co-workers are great. We work to provide excellent customer service to each and every one of our clients. We provide services for Asylum, Refuge, Parole and VOT. We help with SNAP, MEDICAID, Immigration Services, Employment Services, and many more services.
Great place to get practice for your citizenship. They do everything to help you learn.wonderful people!!
Nice friendly and helpful people. They try their best to help! GOD bless them.
Amazing employees, especially Mrs Salimah. Always have a smile on their faces and are actually impacting lives in a positive way. Keep doing what you are doing.
The Y: Were for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.Prepare newcomers for American culture, social services, financial stability, healthy living, and their new lives in Houston.
Citizenship classes are excellent with Cathy and assistant. You need to have parole to qualify for classes.
Nice place, for first timer, there is a consultation fee of $40 and its open on Wednesdays 9am .......4pm. i think!
Providing English courses as a second language and other services
The good treatment of the people, very polite! that is very important to me! Congratulations!! Thank you! ;)
Good staff. Isabel is great!
I dont recommend YMCA for any refugee. Such a horrible service, refugees are left hopeless and slow moving with processes such as getting their SSN, vaccination, school enrollment and employment. Either YMCSs management is to blame or the staff are incompetent for the job. Case workers do not answer phone calls as if their clients are asking for personal favor rather their job responsibility.
If your time and/or hopes regarding your current legal predicament are of issue, be cautious of this office. In July 2013, as an eager and newly licensed attorney (UH Law/Texas Licensed), I applied to offer PRO BONO AND VOLUNTEER French translation services, to this office, in the hopeful exchange of gaining fundamental experience in Immigration Law. I interviewed, was selected, then shown the office. The next day, I sent a thank you card to the staff attorney who interviewed me, director Brian Schaeffer. A few days thereafter, I returned to the office, as instructed by Mr. Schaeffer, to pick up my ID. I noted his car in the small parking area, (Id seen it when I interviewed a few days prior and found that it was his vehicle), but I was told by the receptionist that he was not in the office that day - the day I was asked to drive all the way back, to retrieve the necessary paperwork and ID, etc. I travelled all the way back home, called, left messages, sent several emails over the course of a year, and no communication was ever returned. While I understand there may have been a change in the decision to allow my volunteering, to completely cease communication, blatantly ignore my many efforts to communicate, and for the then receptionist to lie that he was no longer available, is unprofessional and unacceptable; and this many years later, still regrettable. This was my first introduction to law practice culture, I was overwhelmingly disasspointed by the blatant disregard for my time, hope, and inspiration. With no regard to my many follow up attempts, the interview proved itself to have been a staged quota fill, and nothing more.Should you seek immigration services, your time is far more critical than mine was - use it wisely, as you have legal statutory timeframes that cannot and should not be trifled. I was toyed with, for reasons I will never know, but would like to warn others: seek counsel in a less crowded, more organized, and forthcoming office. Do not allow this office, regardless of their pro-bono services, to usurp your opportunity and legal status. There are many pro-bono legal aid offices like this throughtout the Houston area - seek them. Otherwise, be cautious, here.
Great service and people who love their jobs
A refugee supporting organization .. good costumer service
Not good service special Tedros bad .rude . disrespectful man
They Care About All Mankind. They Know All Lives Matter, No Matter Where They From, Their Nationality, Their Color Or Their Religion.

They offer excellent support service and the attention of the very professional staff. My respects.
What we need, guidance
Good support, just not Mexicans

The protection against the Coronavirus is so much that it makes customer service lose quality too extreme
They are very good I owe thanks ...
Very attentive workers of the NGO. They have guided me so far quite well, although the process is slow, but all the procedures are progressing.
For the good attention the respect and dedication of their workers.
Excellent attention
I really like this place, because it has almost everything I need, while my daughter is in her karate class or swimming I can exercise and I know that my baby is well taken care of, all that in one place, it is incredible.
Very good help and attention for people in need
Very nice offices and a very polite and attentive staff with the public, provide information according to the requirements.
This place is wonderful, I liked everything.
Thanks to all the agency workers for their attention
My personal experience was very disappointing, it turns out that before heading to the offices I called to see if they could attend to what they answered YES, I drove almost 2 hours I arrived at 10 in the morning and when I arrived they simply told me that they already had Too many people to attend and that they could not attend me, What a disappointment that they work so badly and on top of that when I tell them to call and they told me that if they could attend to me they tell me that I will have to wait several hours and in the end I certainly do not know if They may or may not attend me. IT SEEMS VERY WRONG TO PROCEED WITH THE ATTITUDE OF THE RECEPTIONIST WITHOUT ANYTHING OF RESPECT OR EDUCATION. Thank you anyway, I WILL NEVER TRY TO RECEIVE A SERVICE FROM YOU AGAIN BECAUSE THEY GAVE ME A LOT TO THINK ABOUT THE SERVICE YOU OFFER.
For the good attention they give you
A center where the first time you see is love for human beings and equality between them ...
They are very good, they help people a lot
If you are polite there is very good service. If you bring your agüaje and bad form from Cuba, you get the same services, but with another face. Many Cubans do not like it because they still have trouble having education and good form, I have no complaints, only thanks to the YMCA workers.
Because it takes care of you very well.
Very good people help Cubans a lot
Spectacular office, which has a great service to all who come to it for help
It offers great service and its workers are committed to helping them solve their problem.
I have been 8 months and I had never had this situation but I had an accident and I could not go personally and the receptionists hang you up. How inhuman
For me it is the best refugee agency in Houston, when our family and I arrived in this great country, this agency was the one that attended us and we were very pleased, Thank you YMCA.
They are great, very good customer service and polite people. They are good, very good customer service and very polite.

A non-profit place to help emigrants
A place where they give help to the refujiado
Its okay
They make you wait a lot but once inside their representatives do their best to help you.
Good attention. Excellent staff.
Never go to that site ... Catholic Charities or Interface is preferable
Because they help and support political refugees and their families
They treat Cubans very well
Fast and professional service
