I highly recommend using Estes Freight. Our company uses Estes Freight for all of our freight needs. They are always on time and I have yet to have any of our shipments, either going to our customers or coming in to us, being damaged. Everyone whom I have dealt with, from our local rep to the drivers, have been very helpful and courteous. Great company!

CDL Driver : I worked for them in the past and left because of relocating to another state where they didnt have an opening at the time. Great people great owners to work for they care about the Drivers. Pay was good and good benefits. They were always giving away things to the drivers chairs mugs ,cook outs , and family baseball ⚾️ games those were the good old days. Hey now im actually applying to get hired again with them now wish me luck.The Company to me was in order of how they ran there operations P&D was P&D and Line haul was meet ups half way. In order. I had an issue where the pickup driver placed the Pro# on the wrong pallets and the shipments both delivered to the wrong destinations..ESTES stepped up and transported them both to the correct deliveries. That was a huge effort but they didnt complain and made me a solid fan!

This was the best experience that I have ever had with a shipping company and I have had a number experiences this year due to having to rebuild my house after being flooded. DeWayne and A.J. were professional, courteous, friendly, and careful with my merchandise as they placed it in my garage. It was a pleasure working with them.

Our Estes Freight rep, Austin Hamilton, is great to work with. He is very informative and was great in teaching me how to use the app and also on Kuebix. He has shown me how to save money for our shipping needs and have not had any problems getting shipments done on time and no damage.

I have used Estes to expedite multiple LTL shipments and they have done a fantastic job. Within the hour of booking a shipment they are in contact with customer (provide a tracking #) and do a great job with updating tracking status of the shipment on the Estes website. Recommend this carrier for efficient shipments.

I have to mention Valencia Houston first. She did above and beyond to keep me informed everyday about my time sensitive package. When it arrived she made sure it is top priority and informed the driver about my special instructions. Driver was also courteous and phoned me when en route w ETA and was aware of the instructions. Today i had the pleasure of working with a CSO name Jennifer and she was very helpful in coordinating my pickup even though I switched the agenda a couple of times on her. She maintained professional and mentioned not to worry and took care of my shipment and now our customer will be pleased that his product shipped on time using Estes. I might add that her voice was so calm that in my hectic days sometimes its good to take that deep breath and realize that everything will be ok, thats how Jennifer made me feel today. Same origin and destination terminal delivery, not delivering next day for no reason. Call to mark it as hot for the next day and they still didnt load it out. Everyone able to assist is in a meeting and they pick the busiest time of the day to have a meeting. Complaints sent to our corporate sales. This is one of the worst Estes terminal I have encountered.

I have been working with Estes for awhile. Although not all terminals are helpful and on top of it, Alanka “Houston” Houston was.I had called about an issue that we had just realized with some freight. When I spoke to her, She was really polite with me and she was already aware of the issue. She said she was getting to the bottom of it. Within 5 minutes she called us back and had solved it. It was wonderful customer service considering I typically wait hours for a response, that usually isnt somewhat helpful. While their staff was very polite at the delivery, they were not equipped to fully deliver my order-two separate times. Both times, they only had one person on the truck and the flooring was far too heavy for one person. Before the second delivery, I even called to confirm they would be sending an electric lift with the delivery to make sure the order could be unloaded. Three weeks since the first delivery, I still dont have the complete order delivered. Disaster.

I use Estes all over the country. Alanka Houston in customer service was exceptional with following up on a small issue we had with a shipment that got delayed by a day. It is rare to have customer service with major LTL carriers follow up as thoroughly as she did, and I appreciate her! Good service and pricing, and great follow up.

This is possibly the worst company that I have ever dealt with in my life, they were rude, and they dont care about your package. I was have a car lift delivered and they destroyed the first one and then when it came time to deliver the replacement they forget to put it on the truck 3 different times. I call 4 time the same day and kept being told that it is on the truck and it still never showed up. Every time it was to be delivered I had to take off half a day of work to accept it so when it didnt show up 3 different times it cost me a lot of money. Please do not ship with these incompetent fools.

All of the women in the front office are rude, I sat on hold for 45 minuets. I was told my pick up would be ready at 11am. I show up at 11:45 after driving an hour to be told it might be ready at 2pm. I’d be happy just receive my package and never come back again

Customer service was so bad it sounded as if I was ruining the reps day just by calling their phone number. I could feel the blehhhhh just oozing out her mouth over the phone. Granted I did not have any tracking information that she needed, which is why I called in however. A package is lost and I dont know where to begin (a giant TV mind you). Thats the whole point of calling the company. Truly hope I never have to call back in...and that this rep gets a new job that at least satisfies her until her lunch break.

I work in shipping in receiving for a good amount of time. i work with some of the best and worse shipping companies. When possible I use SWIFT for delivery instead of ESTES, and we all know at SWIFT all the drivers are inexperienced rookies, but at least there customer service is acceptable. ESTES is one of many last resorts i call for a shipment, bad mouth drivers, poor attitude from the office personal like if they hate their life as much as their job. Dispatch has a large mouth filled with colorful vocabulary. Hands down 2nd worse delivery company i have worked with.

NO-SHOW ON MOVE DAY. We were moving overseas. Estes was contracted by our international shipper to do the pickup on the scheduled day. The international shipper told us to expect a contact from Estes to arrange a shipping time on that day. Estes never contacted us to do this. The morning of the move, we asked the international shipper to reconfirm with Estes that they were going to show, and Estes assured the shipper that we were on the list, verified our contact number, and told them the driver would contact us before proceeding. We were never contacted at all by Estes that day. Our delivery window came and went without any contact. The truck never showed up. Estes never contacted us or the international shipper. The international shipper tried to contact Estes but their e-mails and phone calls were not returned.

Estes is a subpar LTL company, I schedule a hazmat pick up and when driver arrived he told me he couldnt pick it up and did not give me a reason as why he couldnt. therefore we gave our business to AAA cooper as they were very helpful and picked up our freight with no issues.

I wasnt a big fan of Estes Express but, I had a situation with a shipment that was tendered to Estes in error by a shipper. I worked with the EWR terminal to get the situation resolved and the freight delivered to destination without issues. The EWR staff was very helpful overseeing that our shipment delivered as promised, a truly refreshing experience.That experience with the EWR team convinced me to try Estes again on another shipment with very specific delivery requirements that would need someone watching the shipment from origin to destinationThe delivery parameters were communicated to the IAH customer service ( Alanka ) Alanka took control and watched our shipment through to delivery. The coordination / communication between Alanka and the IAH operations team made the delivery go better than anticipated.The professionalism demonstrated by the EWR and IAH terminal staffs has caused me to rethink how I viewed Estes as an LTL service provider. Ive ask my team to use them whenever possible

I would give Estes ZERO star if I could. Their driver came to pick up our pallets one month ago and hit our loading dock, broker our door and promised his company Estes would be taking care of this issue as Estes is a big company. Maybe, Estes is big, but not responsible, or at least is not efficient!I called to their office almost 10 TIMES during last month, but everyone just gave excuses, and the person in charge of the investigation is always ON THE PHONE. So pissed off!We may need our lawyer to talk with them.

When I called, the phone was answered properly; the ladies asnwered my questions, althought I beleiver they need to be a bit more professional. This company is not reliable for delivery. It likely gets business due to their low price they charge. I had a package delivered on the wrong date. When I reschedule, the company never showed up at the time indicated (between 8am-12pm). Due to this company services, I refuse to buy from any company that uses Estes as their delivery company.

They always have an excuse why they cant deliver your item on time and it is your fault not theirs. They never update their tracking after the estimated delivery times have passed. You are suppose to call them to arrange delivery time but they dont give you any specifics. They tell you someone will call you to verify delivery and they never do. You have to call them. The more you call to check up on your order the longer they take. This is by far the most ghetto type of delivery company I have ever witnessed in my 30 years of business.

I am returning a item from WayFair and scheduled a pickup from this company. I was told a day before that they would come out between the hours of 1pm and 6pm and that the package must be placed on my front door step. I had a queen size bed outside waiting for pickup . It was after 6:30pm and I called the company. I was told that the driver didnt have time to pick up my package and that they will have to pick it up Monday. Needless to say I am beyond annoyed that I never got a curtesy call or anything. Avoid this company if you can!

Dont change your shipping address, regardless of how soon after you place your order. re-consignment fee is $90 and they will refuse to discuss this order directly with the manufacturer company who is paying them to carry out the shipping.

Truly awful. Delivered a glass display case in a crate with ZERO PACKING MATERIAL WHATSOEVER. Yes, shocking that it was broken everywhere upon arrival. Best part is that the driver refused to wait while it was uncrated and inspected before he left.

Unprofessional and not courteous at all.UPDATE: truck did not come. My co-worker called to follow up and a different representative took his call and was rude to him also. They require you to call for an appointment to make a delivery but they dont answer their phones. When they do they put you on hold till the call times out or drops. Corporate customer care is of no use either. This is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with.

Ive been hung up on over 8 times, and i hadnt spoken to anyone yet. Shipment was to be delivered 2 and a half weeks ago, still have no shipment. A lady literally picked up the phone, groanned before i could speak then put me on hold and hung up... just unbelieveablely neglegent customer service. It took me 2 mins one time to explain to a lady that I was the customer trying to receive a delivery not some one trying to get a package picked up. Do not use them!!!°

This company incompetence is immeasurable. I had a product shipped from California to my residence, I called ahead of time to be sure of shipping date wasnt told of a collection fee that I would have to pay called a week later still havent seen my product left a message got no response called 5 days after the initial arriving date only to find out that there is a collection fee that I have to pay and the driver that was supposed to deliver to my house decided to take it back to the hub because he doesnt deal with money... Money I didnt know about.... money the sender (who sends all of his products through Estes) didnt know about. Not one time did somebody tell me that I would need to pay to collect my product even after looking up the pro number. Requested to speak with supervisor left a message havent received a phone call back as of 10:30 a.m. September 22nd. Package was due to be delivered September 16th. Had I not given them a phone call I would not have received any call to tell me that my package could not be delivered even after calling them 2 times before leaving my information for contact. This is a big company that does a lot of business and they also have a lot of excuses from what I can tell by the reviews. Its just excuse after excuse I again had to call and ask what time I should be expecting my delivery thats when they told me the that they dont have enough trucks to deliver to my location again I had to call them to find this out. The supervisor Mike Cummins called me personally after I made it a point that I talk to him directly apparently his employees were not giving him my messages.

This place is so unprofessional all the people you talk to right down to the manager Mr. Tony Oho are very rude and inconsiderate.My shipment was messed up two times in a row. I had to contact Mr. Mel who is by far the rudest person I have talked to, I was then transferred to Mr. Craig who seemed like he was the only one doing his job. when the delivery arrived late, the pallet jack was broke so we had to unload one by one units that are at least 100 pounds a piece. The driver however was very patient and helped us work through this!

Spoke with several managers. They dont seem to care whether or not truck will come to pick up our material or have it delivered on time. They messed up our pick up address and sent the trucker to opposite side of town. They said they will come late to pick up, and no truck came to pick up. I called dispatch and they told me the trucker wasnt even going to come. Mike the manager from estes all he said was nothing is guaranteed even if it was their mistake to send the trucker to the wrong location.

Tony Oha horrible rude terminal manager. Customer service acts like they dont want to be there, one girl smacking on phone when she answered it and i heard something that sounded like a tv was on when transferred to dispatch. Three fails for pickup request. Moving on to another freight company. Funny only people giving company good ratings are employees, looking closely pic shows estes cap on his head. Nice try.
