Marital Arts is a way of life it’s a practice a discipline. My sons have been with AMAA since they were 4 and 6. In that 8 year time period I have watched them grow and develop. I have watched them laugh and smile but I have also watched them cry. It’s a process. Many parents feel the need to run out and save their children from this process. As a parent I understand the impulse but I recognize that doesn’t help the student, it only hurts in the long run. As result my of allowing the process to take place my boys are highly disciplined, mentally and physically tough, respectful and easy to teach. So much so that my oldest will start college at 14 and my youngest right behind him. I appreciate the hard work and dedication of the AMAA staff.

I am very lucky to find this place. My boys attended many Martial Arts and After School programs, but never enjoyed until we found this one. Also they have the best summer camp with a lot of activities. They treat us like family and even during quarantine in April of 2020 they were open until the very end to support parents still worked. Now , since my boys are going to school online, they opened their facilities so my kids can have their own room for online meetings. Since I have to work full day, I am not sure what would I do without them. Thank you.

Cant even put all my words into one recommendation, definitely a good place for both beginners and advanced martial artists whether you may be from boxing, kickboxing, mma wrestling etc. Also a great place to get a good workout for non passionate martial artists and learn proper fighting techniques while youre at it.

We toured the place on our first visit and then got a 30 day free trial. On our initial visit, we were told the class would only have 4-5 kids since our son is under 5.To our surprise the class had almost 15 kids aged 4-12 today. They expected our 4 year old to keep up with everyone when he clearly didn’t know what he was doing and was intimidated. As excited as my kid was to attend class, he broke down during class. My issue comes in when rather than comforting my kid who was 20 mins into his karate lesson orgiving him some individual attention or helping him with the moves, the employees told me I was “interrupting” my crying 4 year old. Also how do you expect a kid to just come in, be thrown in a group 15 older kids and know how to do each move or how to kick or how to punch or how to do ANYTHING? Isnt that what we’re paying you to teach?Absolutely ridiculous.

My son has attended American Martial Arts for the last few years. I can’t be more proud of how my son has progressed into the program. The staff is great awesome mentors. I’m glad we have chosen this particular facility. I’m definitely looking forward for another year of summer camp and so is my son haha! Great job guys! I will see you on June 1st when school ends. Keep up the great work.

I went to my first kickboxing class a month ago and it was awesome! The staff was friendly and made me feel right at home. It was definitely challenging, but the supportive environment made it fun. I highly recommend it,the trainers switch it up to keep it challenging. Im always learning something new and seeing progress. They push you to do your best but also respect your current fitness level. I will definitely continue with the program.Love this place!

My name is Steve and I want to go on record as saying that American Martial Arts academy saved my life. I started going March of 2012. At that time i weighed about 290 lbs. I was a border line diabetic with an A!C of 9. The instructors there were very friendly and they motivated me like no one else could have. I actually had fun loosing the weight.Five months later I was 60 pounds lighter and no longer diabetic. I made friends there that I will have for life and because I have no family in Texas these instructors and some fellow students took me into their hearts. I have been going there every since. Bottom line is that you get what you pay for. If you go faithfully and work you will loose the weight and get stronger. This I know because it happened to me. There are are a lot of people that go here and believe me when I say a lot more people are satisfied than not. Bring an open mind and a willingness to work and you WILL NOT be disappointed. I recommend them to all.

I could not be more grateful for the staff at AMAA! All of the coaches are so friendly, welcoming and amazing role models. My son has had the time of his life at the summer camp this year, this will definitely be our go to place for after school care, summer camps, holiday breaks etc. They have a 0 tolerance for bullying which you can actually see enforced and the kids learn to behave and be respectful and in return have such a good day! They stay so active, visit amazing parks and get to vote on locations for field trip Friday! Laser tag, roller skating, they do it all! THANK YOU ALL AT AMAA FOR BEING SUCH GREAT PEOPLE!

I have been calling and e-mailing this location since i paid my money online and no one has contacted me back yet. My daughter is asking me everyday when is she going to start. I am really getting pissed now. I am trying to be patient wirh this company but i cant anymore. Either send my money back or i will be reporting you to the BBB and calling the new stations are what ever it takes. It should not take this long to respond to anyone who has already paid their money. This is some bull.

I joined 2010 as a means of getting back in shape & maintain the condition I was during my early years. As someone who begun training as a pugilist, then eventually a strong interest in martial arts (gung-fu), I missed the structured training that AMAA offers. I would like to say: Mission Accomplished. Master Cupp & entire staff are excellent!
