My favorite part of wedding planning was creating invitations. After doing a lot of invite research, nothing felt like us. I really wanted our invitation to feel personal so I searched for unique wedding invites and discovered Nib and Pixel. Originally my fiancé wanted to send evites and had no interest in paper stationary. Once he saw the website, that totally changed. He became just as excited and invested as I was and we had such a fun time collaborating on this project together.Dionne was amazing to work with! She took our vision and elevated it. I worked with Dionne to create a brand print to use for my bakery, Becca Cakes, and it turned out so beautiful! We made it into wallpaper and liners for our boxes and they look amazing and our customers are always in awe of it when they come into our shop. The process of designing the print was so easy and I was so happy with the way to turned out. Dionne’s work is so creative, original and beautiful. I highly recommend Dionnes Calligraphy for Beginners class. She is sweet, very skilled at what she does, and an engaging instructor. Not only does she provide all the materials and guidance needed to get started practicing the art, she included a couple surprise treats for the class including a personalized clipboard artfully packaged. Pro tip: My girlfriend and I stopped at nearby Tout Suite beforehand for some coffee and a toast trio. It made for a fun and memorable ladies day out.

Our invites are amazing,absolutely unique and beautiful. So many people have contacted us to say how amazing they are, we have even had friends who were not sure if they were coming due to logistical issues with babies etc who have since called to say they are definitely coming now because the invite is so amazing haha! Dionne is awesome! Her modern calligraphy for newbies class was super fun and she did a great job of assisting us throughout the class. She has a well organized class and provides great materials to help you get started. The class is set up as follows: first she gives you basic instruction on the anatomy of a nib and walks you through her basic principle for writing. Next, she gives you ample time to practice with some of the exemplars she provides you with as well as some neat techniques. She gives you a lot of useful tips and information as you are practicing and gives you a little one-on-one coaching. A few days after the course she will send you an email with a lot of resources and good information to know as you continue your practice. My favorite thing about the course is that she is so willing to help and answer questions during the class but also after it’s over. This was a great class and I would definitely recommend taking any of her classes.

Dionne is the REAL DEAL! Absolutely talented and creative, but above all, she is amazing to work with. She was so incredibly patient with my fiance and I throughout our save-the-date planning. We knew what we wanted, but Dionne articulated our ideas beautifully in watercolor. The results were above and beyond what we had imagined. To say that we were extremely pleased with our save-the-date is an understatement. We HIGHLY recommend her! Dionne was an absolute JOY to work with. She took took time to meet with my wedding planner and I to discuss our vision for our wedding and made all of our save the dates, invitations, and day of things based off of my husband and I. We were so fortunate to be introduced to Dionne during our wedding planning process. Dionne did our wedding invitations, day-of paper items (programs, menus, etc.) and our thank you cards. I cannot stress enough how much we loved everything she did and on top of that, how amazing she was to work with every step of the process. I came to her with a lot of scattered ideas and was a little unsure of what I wanted, while at the same time having strong opinions about design and what I like/dont like. She magically took everything I said and all the inspiration photos I sent her and created the PERFECT invitation. She was always incredibly responsive, a fantastic communicator (which when talking about abstract design ideas is a huge help), and last but not at all least, incredibly talented at what she does. Her creativity is just amazing. On top of that, she is a warm and fun person which made our months and months of dialogue completely enjoyable! All of those factors combined made us feel so lucky that we were able to work with her. If we ever are in the market again for invitations or other fun paper goods, Dionne is first person we would call!

I had been wanting to learn about calligraphy for a long time. This class was a lot of fun. It was laid-back, but informative. In hindsight, I would have brought my mom or a group of girlfriends and made an afternoon girl date out of it.

We had the best time at her class! And as an added bonus, she includes lots of useful calligraphy materials to get you started at home. I highly recommend it to everyone, regardless of skill level.

I enjoyed Dionnes watercolor clinic so much! So many different techniques were taught in each of the three watercolors. Even your supplies are so artfully put together. Dionne is a wonderful and enthusiastic teacher with an incredible amount of talent!

Ive been following Nib and Pixel on instagram since before I got engaged, so when I saw Dionne post a watercolor recreation of a couples wedding photo, I reached out immediately to have one done as a first anniversary gift (paper!). I did some shopping around, and theres really nothing out there that even comes close to this. She did a great job and really captured the details of our venue that made us choose it in the first place. I highly recommend her!

Dionne is an amazingly talented professional! We used her for custom invitations, day of programs, menus, signage, our seating chart, and calligraphy on our place settings (we used acrylic chairs). Dionne is extremely artistic and executed what we wanted perfectly. Sometimes it is hard to put a vision into words and make it come to life in a cohesive way, but that is exactly what she did! I dont know how she does it, but she also is extremely quick at getting work done. Her process allows for revisions, and when I asked for her opinion or something to be changed, she did so faster than I would have imagined and provided different options to help make our decision easier. For our seating chart, she was able to make things simple for us and source the materials needed to make it happen.We are so glad we decided to use her! Everything turned out more beautiful than we could have imagined and we had so many people at the wedding tell us how stunning and cohesive all of her work was.
