I handle the advertising and marketing for a few child care centers and have been struggling to make the transition to digital advertising. Solved the problems left by the other SEO company.We previously hired an SEO company that had been highly recommended to us from a colleague of ours. Since it was a recommendation from someone I have a ton of respect for, we ultimately ended up signing on with them despite things seeming to be too good to be true. We were in for a rollercoaster as the initial performance was great, but things took a turn for the worst all in the spam of a week.When we lost most of our rankings on Google, we found out that a planned algorithm change had penalized a number of websites for having spammy websites linking back to them. Sure enough, we had a penalty from Google. We reached out to the SEO company to try to figure out what to do in this situation, but they never actually returned any of our calls or emails. We tried to figure out how to fix things ourselves, but we weren’t able to make much headway. There were too many links linking back to us and we weren’t sure how to go about resolving the issue to get us back in Google’s index.We were introduced to DMA as they successfully helped another colleague of mine get their website back on Google. They did a full analysis of our website and made a plan of action with their proposal. While it was a bit expensive, they seemed to have a full grasp of the situation. We let them take over both our SEO strategy and getting back on the search engine. Within a few weeks they had gotten us back on Google and within three months we were seeing significantly better results. We now had great traffic, were getting a lot more inquiries, and are currently looking to expand our digital marketing initiatives in the second half of 2018.
