Due to their Covid protocol, I had to wait outside for about 15 minutes for them to call me in. Once I got in, everything went as planned and I was able to type up and print out my resume. The staff was efficient and remarkably helpful. Thank you.

They claim that they provide assistance with twic cards but their requirements are ridiculous. They require an offer letter and they take at least 14 days to process the request not to mention that the twic card processing time is just the same. Which employer will wait this long? Which employer that requires twic cards will even accept an application without it? This service is unusable. Who makes these rules? They should be required to test these ridiculous rules they sustain.

Online it says they are open normal hours. I went there at 1pm on Friday and they were not open. It would help to have the right information online. Please update your correct hours.

Just the basic service nothing special

It is sad that you can no longer access the workforce offices. For those of us who do not have computers, fax machines or printers. It makes looking for employment very hard. Everything is online these days business will not take applications from you in person. We are just out of luck. Tax dollars are paying for these empty buildings.

Absolutely the worst, most apathetic Workforce Solutions in the system. Expect to wait hours. Expect to not have any response to your calls or e-mails to a counselor. Expect total incompetence. They will meet these expectations every single time. They will waste you day every single time. Oh, and dont forget the computer police. If you take a pause from typing on the computer, the staff will kick you off the computer. They say they are making sure you are not hogging a computer when someone else could be using it. They do this even when there are FIVE EMPTY computer stations right next to you. Such a negative environment.

This place is horrible.They could not even get it together to process an education award. I have been to the Stella Link location and they are way better. But the employees at the Westheimer office are just mean. They will not help you. They do not care. You will sit hours just waiting. When I told them I missed a job interview because I was there waiting for 3 hours get my education award, they just laughed. When I went back a second time to get my voucher, more waiting and waiting and waiting. State of Texas gave me permission to take the class. I missed 2 start dates of the classes just waiting for Westheimer Workforce Solutions to get their act together! After a few hours, again, I just gave up on the Westheimer office having the competence to process my course voucher. I really wanted to take that class. But Westheimer just couldnt get it together. I see from the other reviews the WF responds telling you to go to the office for help. But that is just the point, you go to the office for help and no one cares, no one will help you. It is just a game they play.

Worst place ever!!!! Won’t even let me print stuff and some white guy stopped me saying I can’t print because I was printing to much. What’s the point of a workforce solution if it’s not gonna help you get anywhere in life. Disgusted by this place and hope the guy with the glasses gets fired. Wish I found out his name but didn’t bother because can’t even bother to look at him anymore. Very useless...glad I don’t live anywhere near this place. My other location was way better than this and was definitely nice and appreciative who wasn’t always hovering over your shoulder or being in your business about printing stuff. Don’t come here if you need to print a lot cause they’re cheap and they hover over you to make sure your doing stuff for work related. Anything i print is leading up to a good job and success. They are so cheap. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN! I hope you guys do read this and realize how horrible your employees are to customers.

This is the best workforce solutions Ive ever been to! Great customer service! The greeters get to quickly and the counselors are extremely patient,they wont rush you off. They actually help you.

Never toooo busy when I arrive at any time of the day... There was always an available computer for me to use. Thats the perk! But what made me leave a review today, after years of visiting this location is based off one CONSISTENT FACTOR! The Womens bathroom NEVER HAS paper towels in dispenser, toilet seat covers or properly locking doors on the stalls smh... Very big down side and why its a low 3 star and not five

This location used to be my favorite out of all the Workforce locations. Its not the same anymore unfortunately. The wait times are long, financial assistance is limited, and the job referrals are mediocre. Customer service is no longer a priority. Dont go in here expecting compassion or understanding of your needs. They really hit a new low when Henry stopped working there. That man knew his job well and performed it even better. Im still rating it 5 stars for a couple employees. Todd is always a great help and doesnt BS. Ms. Carmen at the front desk is always smiling and is very detailed. If you really want to experience the good thats left in this office ask for Ms. Carmen. Her regulars arent going to be happy but youll see the difference when you speak to her.

This is the best workforce i have been to the greeters are polite and help you as soon as you get in the door and the staff there is amazing. Had a bad experience the first time not gonna lie but i had the sweetest and most helpful staff member attend me her name is Onis Martinez so thank you Ms.Martinez and to the whole staff.

I came to this workforce solution after visit other locations and I was tired of ineptitude from other facilities but a good friend recommend me this place and I came in and ask for Sara Duarte who my friend told me to ask and she was very professional giving me a friendly attention and helping me in all my process for student financial aid. Unfortunately I cant give more of 5 stars to Sara because she of course deserves more than that. Thank you Sara and all staffing in westheimer workforce location. Thanks to Jerry in the front desk too. I gave to him more than 5 stars as well.

Very nice location for employers to host job fairs. Well equipped and spacious. The staff here is friendly and eager to help. Ive held events in other Workforce locations but this one definitely outshines them all. Im especially grateful to Carmen Marin for helping set up and keeping the event organized all throughout. Shes definitely the face of this office. Other locations should learn a thing from the westheimer office.

I visited this location twice, and I had the misfortune to talking to the same lady who is very unprofessional. She basically kept talking over me ,wasnt listening to what I had to say . Wasted my time , shes extremely rude I didnt get her name cause both times I visited I had to hurry up n leave before we had an altercation thats how rude shes been. Hopefully they hire more people that actually want to help with a more friendly manner.

This office is different from all the other workforce offices i have visited in the area. From the moment you worked in, you get the feeling of the employees willing to assist you in your goal. Angel is the most knowledgeable TAA rep in the entire Houston area. Very professional in doing his job! if you want to find your next big job while using all the resources available to you, I recommend you visit this office.

I wasted half a morning here. I attended a workshop for resume and interviewing, but was disappointed due to the staff member coming in late. Its unprofessional talking about interviewing when the actual person who is conducting bad behavior. They are way too busy to get to every person in timely manner.

This is the best Workforce Solutions office in Houston. They have a friendly staff and offer a variety of job postings, job fairs, and employment resources.

The staff at this location is friendly and helpful. They always have a Welcome to the Workforce when you come in and a thanks for visiting when you leave. This location is not the closest location to me but I drive all the way across town just because there TAA counselor is top notch. While the other counselors at my closer locations were giving me the run-around due to their lack of knowledge (in my opinion); this counselor was very knowledgeable and efficient. Definitely employee of the month the material. Out of the four Workforce Solutions locations I have visited this is definitely my favorite one.

Print services, copy machines work. They have resume writing classes and resources to help you prepare for work

As you walk in you are greeted and asked how they can help you (I forgot the ladys name but she was really nice and friendly) first impression was a positive one. And it only stayed the same my entire visit.

First time walking in to a Workforce Solution company and i did not know the first thing to do. Right when I sat down Anton Mason walked straight up to me and help me through every step. I for sure will be coming back to this place. Great customer service with nothing but a smile on his face.

It was the bed I do not recommend any one come here I asked her to find job after I did all application I was waiting for almost 2 hours the employer was lazy I told her to find any job the she said try to go to websites of workforce and find what do you want. Why she is there and why I am there

This is a nice location for the Workforce Solutions but I really wouldnt recommend it for massive printing. They are very strict with their resources and I find the staff to be a little overbearing. They are more so concerned with monitoring every move you make instead of actually helping you get a job

The staff here is awesome!!! They are there to help you and have the resources to accomadate just about all your needs for a brighter future for yourself. Ultimately, the 1st step to getting there would be on you.

Worst place ever, It take 2 hours and 20 mins to just submit an attendance sheet. The employees dont care about time. Specially people working in Scholarships section. They dont know their job completely.

Very displeased with the lack of professionalism here. The individual who answers the phone here should be fired and burned (in that order) I started an OJT program and was told to come back on my lunch break for the gas card. They told me they knew who I was & when I arrived to the building on my lunch break, they would expedite the process due to me coming on my lunch break. When I arrived they had no idea who I was, I was over an hour and a half late coming back from lunch on my NEW JOB & was fired. Thanks WFS.

Its your job search office with sort of slow computers running Windows 7 so life is much better if you use Office 365 for One Drive, Mail and Word. Dropbox is also a big help. Not any privacy so distractions aplenty.Ive left 2 sets of earbuds and a jump drive in the computers because I was distracted while cleaning up to leave. BUT the rent is a reasonable ZERO so theres a big plus. AND you are dressed and out of the house.

They have helped me during nursing school and Ms. Kretia Griffin, my PSR, has been of tremendous help. She not only assisted me with services I came in for but she introduced me to new opportunities available for me. Overall the staff is resourceful and you dont have to wait long at this location.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with workforce solutions. The employment counselor I sat with was Aderonke Foresythe, she was very rude and was not helpful at all.

This place can help you look for a job a lot of friendly people you can do your resume people there to help you with your resume people come in hire you on the spot just a really nice place to be when youre looking for a job this place also helps you with childcare the application they do much more

The worse workforce office, to have a short question should wait so long. I wailed for more than one and half hour, Just two people were ahead of me so I checked why they don’t call me, I couldn’t find my name on the list to be seen. Sometimes in the afternoon reject you to having any problem or question.

Very little help is offered...I am TAA approved and this lady kept telling me I cant take certain courses online even though the most cost - efficient schools were online, rather than going to a college class in a physical location. She doesnt return urgent calls when I had questions about how to proceed. Waste of time.

I cant tell you how awesome these four individuals are Denita, Krecia, Angel and Anton. They all have excellent customer service skills and they are truly Top Knotch in their professionalism, unlike two of their colleagues, who should be working on the floor, instead of at a desk, since they enjoy defaming hard working customers.

This is office is very different from all the worksource locations. The biggest difference I feel are the employees. They really do take the time to help you and point you in the right directions. I was always feel welcome here. Not like the worksource on bissonet. I finally landed my dream job with the help of miss carmen. She is a angel to me. Her help with my resume is what helped me get my job. Ask for miss carmen. She knows her stuff!

The staff will kick me off one fax machine(probably bc of my race) and even though nobody is using it, they send me to another one being used. Then, afterwards they say sorry. Yeah, your boss will say sorry youre fired when Im done complaining to the govt about your sorry pathetic racists.
