Being a general contractor myself Im always skeptical of new trades and companies. Chris and his company delivered magnificently with timely efficient and professional service! Their communication was on time and informative and I wouldnt hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to anyone. Doesnt matter the job size Chris and his company are ready!

Chris is a fast talking salesman. He offered a discount if I paid in full. Shouldn’t have paid him because he only did half of the work. Didn’t show up after I caught his employees stealing Amazon deliveries from my house. He said he fired the employee that stole and he would personally come out to finish. He gives excuse after excuse and doesn’t follow through. He hasn’t been back to my house since January to finish the work I paid for in full. We have mutual customers that have had the same issue with his absence and excuses. I see there is a recent review post with another person that has had the same issues. I used him at my house because I had a good experience with him at my commercial building, so I thought. I drove past my building and saw this silver stuff hanging off of the roof. I stopped and saw it was radiant barrier. I hired Chris to install radiant barrier and insulation inside of the lease space when the tenant had all of the ceiling removed during the remodel. His crew actually put radiant barrier on the roof and nailed directly to the roof! I don’t know why they thought nails through a roof would be ok?? When I asked him about it he said he had to go out and look at it. He didn’t show up and now I’m having to deal with roof repairs. Do not use Chris with insulation guru.

Working with the Insulation Guru was a very positive experience, they came into our commercial job site to replace the insulation that had been molded. They we’re very friendly, professional and made it a great work environment with a lot going on in one small space. I will be recommending them to our friends and family for any of their residential or commercial needs! Keep up the AWESOME work !!

Working with insulation guru was never a dull moment. they worked very hard with smiling faces. cleaned up as they worked and was never a problem. had a great time working with them.

Chris talks a good game but doesn’t give his employees/contractors a scope of work. This job went sour from day one! Workers didn’t arrive on the job till 10:30 ish. Next thing I knew workers went to lunch. I called Chris he called the lead guy and chewed him out. Lead guy dropped off the helper and the lead guy left. It was until after 2pm 2 guys showed up to take over. Radiant barrier wasn’t finished until the next day.Chris told me the registers would be lifted to get them flush with the ceiling. Chris told me the attic would be emptied. The third day the insulators showed up. I told them about the registers needed to be fixed and the attic was to be empty. Workers called Chris and reluctantly they fixed the registers and empty the attic.The same day I found the Sheetrock was broke in the hall. Unfortunately the radiant barrier contractor stepped on the Sheetrock and crack it . I called Chris he said he would get right on it and I would be getting a discount.The insulators finished the job on the third day.I haven’t heard anything from Chris since.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

This company is incredible! I had heard about radiant barrier, and before getting it in our home I never really understood how it work, or if it really worked at all. When I called Insulation Guru I spoke to the owner Chris and instantly appreciated his attitude and work ethic. He was very patient and we talked in detail about the type of radiant barrier he installed, which I had already researched to be the best available. I have a wife who is very ill so we are very careful when getting anything done to our home that might affect her, or having any people in our home also. When Chris and his crew came to our home they were very respectful of our situation and did a very clean, neat and professional job. Once done, the only way to know they had come was to look at our next electric bill...which was more than a hundred dollars a month LOWER than usual! It has been around 10 years since Chris and his crew did the job and the radiant barrier that Insulation Guru installed looks and works as good as the first day it was put in. It has saved us thousands of dollars in heating and cooling bills. I am very selective about who I endorse, but I can wholeheartedly give my highest praise to Chris, his crew and Insulation Guru.

After meeting Mr. Burke I highly recommend him. Just for an estimate, he was on time with very short notice and came prepared with proof, a binder of photos and a FLIR (thermal) device, to show how and why his technique is better. He didnt hesitate to get down and dirty by crawling around in the attic. Whether its commercial or residential hell take care of you.

We’ve enjoyed the lower temperatures in our home as well as lower utility bills. Radiant barrier and insulation helps all year. Well worth the investment. We highly recommend the Insulation Guru.

Chris did not finish my job. I prepaid for July 6-7 2020. He is NOT bonded. Do not prepay. They did not finish in the two days quoted because he only had 2 of the expected 5 guy team. They scheduled for July 8th but sent me a photo of a damaged trailer and cancelled. One guy showed July 9-10 but they still did not finish. In addition, they batt-insulated areas of the attic over non-conditioned space, a complete waste or time and resources. Can light covers that were promised were nothing more than a tube of cut radiant barrier that was loosely placed around the light, not a professional cover as expected. They rescheduled for July 21st and cancelled. Lots of texts back and forth led to one guy coming Sep 7th that did not know what to do. Rescheduled for Oct 2nd and sent me photos of him in the hospital due to a car wreck. Rescheduled for Nov 24th and cancelled due to no crew available. I got an estimate from another company to finish the work. I passed him the estimate and he opted to repay me that amount rather than finish the job. He wrote a promise to make payments for 4 months beginning in January 2021, but he did not make a single payment. He did not respond to my recent messages. He talks a good game and seems like a nice guy. I would not recommend you do business with Chris and this company.

Mistake number one paid in full to have job start on specific day. When the day came no call no show. I called Chris and he apperently double booked and offered $500 dollars off and pushed it back 2 additional weeks. I thought that was far but when that day came he called with yet again another excuse and pushed it back again. His crew only came on Saturdays which was frustrating because he had my money already. I kept asking him about my $500 and he always had excuse why he couldnt pay even know he kept saying next week, next week. 10 months later he wont even respond or call back. He just assumed I would forget about it. Unprofessional and lies continuesly, so disappointed with the job and how I was treated.

Where do I start, I am so pleased with insulation guru’s professionalism, they did a great job, I am very happy with the work that was done in my attic. I will definitely be sending my friends and family to them for their insulation needs.

My electricity bill has dropped significantly & my house feels way cooler & bearable which is much appreciated now that I have to work from home due to Covid. Chris and his crew do a very professional job. They installed radiant barrier and topped off the insulation in my attic. I’ve noticed less humidity upstairs. This isn’t easy work and these guys specialize in what they do. Another great bonus is they also put some wood planks down so I have more storage in the attic.

Great service on insulation and correcting other non related issues with my attic

After reviewing the reviews on-line; we were confident that we found the right company to do the job. Although the initial job was great but it was not 100% completed. We have try to contact the owner several time and he promised to complete the job but he never did. In additional, they over-charged our credit card and never gave us credit back. Bottom line, I would not recommend this company.Since the last review; the owner Chris has reached out to us and fixed all the problem that he has promised. I appreciate that very much. This company is as negative as it gets.the owner gives you the run around every time you try to get in touch with him.he shows you pictures of jobs they supposedly did all nice and done and then do the complete opposite.if you go by review please don’t use this company

Updated 11/18/20 following several visits by the owner (Chris) to correct some remaining issues.I hired The Insulation Guru to install radiant barriers in my main attic and garage attic, plus supplement missing insulation in various places, add an airhawk vent, foam seal openings into the home, and add an attic access tent.Chris, the owner, inspected my attic prior to providing an estimate and showed me a binder full of pictures of completed jobs, promising significantly lower temperatures in the attic and a solution to my warm temperature issues in the middle of the summer. He also insisted that he gets involved in jobs, and said he would personally come to my house to inspect and take temperature readings once the job was completed.It took several visits over about 2.5 months to complete all agreed-to tasks. Chris and I had several phone conversations to clear up some of my concerns following poor quality of work by some of his contractors, and needed to reschedule visits a few times due to availability on his part. Eventually, all tasks were completed with Chris coming by several times to ensure all work was completed to his standards. Chris also installed thermal barrier on my garage door free of charge and provided a rebate as an apology for the delays and inconvenience.

Insulation Guru put insulation in my attic and radiant barrier a while back. I have been waiting to make sure everything was going good until I did a review. My son who is an electrician has gone up into the attic and said it’s the coolest attic Temperature wise he’s ever worked in. My air conditioner guy was very impressed. The only disappointment I have was the attic door tent cover is pretty cheaply made and very hard to zip and unzip. Not sure how long it will last. I would have been willing to pay extra for a better version.

This company is very professional and got the job done correctly for us. It means a lot to find a company do what they say they’re going to do this day and time and be satisfied with the end result. We had just recently purchased a new home, and our builder had agreed to remove and replace new insulation. We wanted to get an inspection done for the attics prior to the builders doing the work. We were shopping around with various available choices of insulation companies to do the inspection. However we chose Insulation Guru based on our initial discussion with Chris. From the beginning, we knew we were in excellent hands. Chris worked with us to meet all of our needs. Chris provided us superb customer service. His professional approach, honest analysis and dedication made our experience an extremely positive one. What a difference my house feels. I use to have to cycle between heat and a/ c to get my house feeling right, now I dont even touch my thermostat. My house always is the same temp no matter what the temp is outside. Chris is very pleasant to deal with, highly recommend them if you re looking to insulate your attic.

Insulation Guru did an outstanding job with our soccer facility, in a very short time, and at a great price. They worked around our schedules and equipment. There were a few unexpected problems that came up but they tackled them with great professionalism and honesty from start to finish. Best contractor experience ever!

One of my no regrets ever decisions was bringing Insulation Guru to my old Heights house. The company removed decades worth of carcinogenic materials piled up in the attic. It took them 2 days to take it all out (old insulation material with formaldehide binding, dust, rat crap, and more dust!!) They covered all entrances with plastic and it is only after 2 days of thorough cleaning that I saw 3 SUV sized bags full of debris from my attic. It was pretty scary. Chris is very knowledgeable about the materials he uses and never cuts corners. When the attic was cleaned and insulated I hired them to insulate the subfloor. They were amazing, meticulous and thorough. To top it off, they added very efficient slipcovers to the attic entries. I definitely feel the difference in the quality of air and my electricity bills were cut by 35% on average. Chris came back to seal gaps in the shed (separate structure) and walked around every room to record temperature changes. His team was very punctual, respectful, and always cleaned up after every visit. I absolutely trust Chris and continue to consult with him on many projects that involve efficiency and carcinogen free improvements.

These guys are the real deal - personable, affordable, kind and full of integrity. Chris came out and did an estimate, and my jaw nearly dropped to the floor. We didnt think we would be able to afford radiant barrier at this time (we were going to stick with getting new insulation for now), but he gave us an offer that was well within our budget, and also was willing to work with us with a payment plan. The crew worked hard, cleaned up after, and went above and beyond to make it the way I would want my own attic done - as Joe explained to me. And now it is like night and day in our house. Before if we kept the temp at 78, the AC wouldnt cycle, and would struggle even at night. Now we can keep it at 75 or below and it cycles beautifully! Thanks Joe, Chris and the rest of the crew! So grateful my husband and I found your awesome business!
