My wife is staying in Houston for medical treatment, and while visiting, I spilled a drink that seeped under her laptop. When her computer wouldnt reboot, I did some research and called Lifeline Repairs based on their reviews and proximity to where were staying. He told us to bring it in, when we dropped it off, he said he would call in two hours to let us know what he could do. Less than 1.5 hours, he called and said it was fixed and would be $59.99. I had my first visit about 45 minutes before they closed. The employee (whose name I believe is Adam according to the receipt) politely took my iPhone 7 and its broken screen and told me it’d be finished in 25 minutes. Surprisingly it took less! In 15 short minutes my phone was good to go. I asked if they sold any screen protectors for my phone and he threw it in for free :) 5/5 recommend, fast and friendly service with great results.

Lifeline Repairs has provided exemplary service for my Surface Pro. I dropped my tablet and cracked my screen even with an expensive and durable screen protector. I called many repair service providers and was told that the companies did not work on Surface Pros. Best Buy specifically told me they wouldnt touch it and that if I wanted service for it I would need to contact Microsoft because very few companies would work on the tablets. So I contacted Microsoft who wanted $600 for me to give them my tablet in exchange for one of their refurbished Surface Pros to which I declined. After spending several days and many hours searching for a company who would be willing to repair my tablet, I found Lifeline. Adam assured me that he could get the part needed and that he could make the repair without any difficulty. Today, I have a fantastically working Surface Pro! The cost was minimal when compared to the Microsoft price. If you are looking for a professional service and a truly knowledgeable repair provider, go see Adam. Called about screen replacement for a Surface Pro 3, was informed it would be $299 which is $50 more than buying a good condition unit on NewEgg. Not sure where all the competitive pricing reviews are coming from but no thanks.

I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 that the battery was bad and expanding behind the screen. Very few shops will repair this PC as the display is glued to the frame and must be removed for repairs. I even contacted Microsoft customer service and they dont support it. I called many shops in Houston and only found one other shop that would attempt the repair. However, their quote was high compared to some out-of-town shops that would require mailing. Lifeline was able to complete the repair and for a very competitive price. It looks and works like new! They were professional, and followed safe procedures during this time of social distancing. Based on this experience I highly recommend Lifeline.

I dropped my iPhone 11 on a table corner and could barely use it due to the lines and black spots on the screen. Thought it was a goner, took it to LifeLine and they fixed it in less than 30 minutes. Phenomenal work, will go there again for any potential work in the future.

My mac dropped on stairs and a huge dent at the connection between keyboard and screen. The Microcenter would charge me $850 for repair (almost a new one), they spent many weeks not even get started. I brought that to Adam, he helped fix the problem only charge me $100. I am very happy with this excellent service and I highly recommend this store for device repair.

I tend to break my phone A LOT and I came here for the first time about 1-2 years ago! The staff did a great job and were super nice! Have come back 2 more times after and they continue to do great! It was really bad experience with the service they provided. My computer was sent in on Mondayand they promised to have it ready on Friday. Unfortunately it never happen because no one in theshop to receive the parts, USPS was trying to deliver parts on Friday morning but they dont have access to the shop and no one in the front desk. Saturday morning, I went to the shop again, the gentleman said he takes the responsibility and will pick up the parts in person on Monday and promised the computer can be ready on Monday noon. I said that would be great because I really need it for the work and meeting. Monday, I went to the shop again. My computer still sat here, the lady said nothing repair because the parts havent deliver yet. It is really disappointed because they lied to me. no one pick up the parts form post office, in the mean time, I decided to take my computer back because I dont trust them any more, after a few phone calls , I found there is a store close to Rice Village, and I stop by their store right away and they do a quick check on the computer in front of me and give a quote right after the checking, the price is 10% lower than LifeLine and will be able fix it in 2 days. After waiting for 2 days. my computer is working again, The engineer did a quality job with great attitude. So dont waste your time with LifeLine. If I can give them 0 star I will do it.

Illegitimate establishment. They sure look good on the exterior though. They tried to steal a screw from my phone that was near the charging port, but they sneakily put it back once I started complaining about other things. The metal near the charging port was bent upwards. The LCD screen on my phone is bulging out on the right side. Certain screen functions like 3D touch don’t work sometimes. They take your money and leave you screwed.

I had a broken screen of Nexus 6P (rare availability), lying dead for more than a year. Melissa had my phone diagnosed and found out everything else works properly. She repaired the screen, but as understandable with phones lying inactive for a long period there were a few issues. But she patiently took care of all these and replaced necessary parts. Melissa was very professional and I would definitely visit there for any phone related issues later.

These guys have no clue what theyre doing Im sorry to say. They repaired my old phone and the screen stopped working functionally in 2 days. What a shame

Id been going around with a cracked screen on my iPhone 6S for over six months. Thats when I spilled bubble tea on it. The phone was completely dead, and, jackass that I am, I hadnt backed any of the data up for 16 months.Not knowing where else to go, I went to the Apple Store in Highland Village. To make a long story short, after waiting two hours and forty five minutes, the genius I spoke to told me that I would need to mail my phone off to a place in San Francisco, where it would take up to four weeks and minimum $1000 to recover the data. And after all that they still might not be able to get my data back.Thankfully I reached out to one of my techie friends who recommended I go to LifeLine on Holcombe. I got there 10 minutes before they were closing. The manager, Nico, greeted me warmly, assured me it was no problem to fix, and that theyd have it ready in 24 hours. He was funny, friendly and nice, and he basically talked me off the cliff after my experience at the Apple Store. He was professional and honest, gave me a written quote, and refused payment until my phone had been fixed.24 hours later my phone was working perfectly with all the data recovered, at a fraction of the price I thought Id have to pay. Im unbelievably grateful to the team at LifeLine. Im giving out their business cards and recommending them to all my friends. We are so lucky to have them in Houston.

I got my iPhone fixed and left not only with a replaced screen, but a fully inspected phone and a great experience all in 20min. Niko was excellent! I got my battery replaced for my iPhone 6S Plus. I was in and out in 30 minutes and he showed me under settings where my battery was showing at 100% performance. Can’t leave out it was only 40 bucks very affordable!

The most honest repair store I’ve been to. The guys in there are super cool and will provide the best customer service. Laptop was messed up due to a faulty battery and they not only fixed it up super quick but even suggested the cheapest route to buying a replacement such as amazon, instead of having them order it for me and it costing an extra $60.

Incredibly helpful staff. Completed an easy fix on the spot, on a Sunday, that three or four other places said would take several days. It is definitely far out of the way for me, but I would happily drive through traffic for this quality service.

I took my laptop in on Good Friday after a Windows update caused my mouse and keyboard to stop working. The techs werent able to fix it within 24 hours, but when I picked up my laptop on the following Monday all my files were placed in a Backup folder on the desktop. Windows 10 had to be completely reinstalled, but ALL my files were intact! The repair was also affordable. I highly recommend LifeLine and will definitely use them again for my old laptop that also has issues.

These guys are amazing. Brought my Surface 3 for a quick inspection, not only guys did it for free, but told me exactly what was wrong. Apparently I was missing one part from my previous repair at a different location. Great job guys! Ordered $15 part and my Surface is back to life after 6 month of sitting in my drawer.

Great service. I called, and was happy to hear that my phone could be repaired in under 30 minutes. I got to the store, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I came in as a walk-in without an appointment. I had fast, friendly, and professional service with a reasonable price. There was an initial snag in the repair process, but I was given another option that only took another 15 minutes more.Biggest plus: VERY close to where I live, and was one of the only places open on Sunday. When I returned 50 minutes later, they surprised me with the news that actually all that had cracked was my protective screen cover. The cell phone itself was fine. They didnt charge me anything. They could have totally gotten away with charging me for a screen replacement, and I would have paid, never knowing the difference. I was in town over the weekend and managed to break the screen on my Galaxy S7. I had to attend training for work, and didnt have a lot of time to wait around for my phone to get fixed. I checked google and noticed that Lifeline was close by my hotel. I brought my phone in, and they assured me that they had the screen in-stock, and the repair would take around an hour. They were done in 50 minutes and my phone was as good as new. Lifeline kept me in touch with my customers with minimum down-time and top notch customer service. 10/10

This business is closed. Website will allow you to make appointments and there is a phone number that rings but the store is empty. Don’t make the mistake I made- don’t drive across town to keep an appointment that you made online!

An AWESOME experience and quick... I was getting ready to go to a place that was further away and would have caused me to sit in traffic, take longer, and cost more. This was so convenient in the medical center literally easy access on the bus route or a nice walk from the medical center. The Holcombe location has always been good to me each and every time. They were quick to assist and got me in and out with a new glass screen protector. I just came back from the shop and here is my conversation with the lady working on the shop:Me: this is the third time I come here to fix the screen for the same phone, and I paid the first two times. The 1st time I wanted to fix the phone because I dropped it, the 2nd time the touch was not working in parts of the screen, and a few minutes before I came to you I dropped the phone and the screen was affected and had some lines due to falling down and they forced me to pay although it was in the warranty period. This time, I came after the warranty period because I had some issues (family and work) and obviously it is your problem and the phone didnt fall down as you can see and Im not going to pay anything to fix it this time because it is your fault (the guy who put the new screen).The lady: she offered to check if something is unplugged in the phone.Me: OK, please do your best and you can confirm it is not my fault.The lady: she came back and said Ive bad news. The problem has not been fixed through the plug and unplug and the only way is to put a new screen.Me: No way Ill pay anything to fix your mistake this time. Thanks.
