I came in to have about 5 pairs of jeans and pants altered and hemmed. First, I decided I wanted to wear one of the pairs the first day I dropped them off. Raul had specifically told me that it would take 3-5 days. I called him and he told me he would rush that one pair to have it ready for me to wear the same night. I was ecstatic. They messaged me earlier this week saying all of the pants and jeans were ready. When I finally was able to come in, it was about 5 minutes before closing. I was still about 10 minutes away. I called in and Raul told me that although he would not be able to wait due to a prior engagement, he would be willing to meet me on the street and drop them off to me if I could be there soon. I rushed over and there he was waiting. I could not recommend this place enough not only for their quality of work but also for their excellent customer service. I will be sure to recommend them to everyone I know and use them exclusively for future alterations. Thanks again!

The finest alterations and great customer service, I have been here twice. The first time for a formal dress they had to shorten the shoulders, It is a perfect fit now! The second time I took two of my work pants for a hem and I was happy with the outcome. I will definitely bring more clothes and would recommend to my friends and family.

Located conveniently in the galleria, I highly recommend them for your alteration services! I have taken many clothing items here for alterations and each time they made sure It was done exactly to my liking. Turn around time for alterations are also very quick which is also a bonus!

Took 2 Levi blue Jeans to them and asked if they could make some adjustments on them as they were a little long for me. End result was perfect. The jeans looked as if I bought them that way, you couldn’t tell that ANY alterations were done. They were also fair in how much they charged me and very punctual on the promise time. If you’re in the galleria area I suggest you look no further for any tailoring and/or alterations as this place here will take care of you and your clothes.

I have been doing alterations here for a few years. I recently took my dad’s tux for a few alterations. $45 for letting out the jacket, $35 for shortening the sleeves, $35 for adjusting the vest over the chest and armpit area. Total came out to be $212 with some adjustments in the pants which is more expensive than the tux itself. I like the staff over there but they’re honestly too expensive compared to other tailors. I took the tux to a very good tailor in Sugar Land referred by family friends and he did the same alterations for $123.Response to the owner:I don’t believe your prices match your quality of work. In fact, this is a jacket (see attached photo) I had had altered at your store two years ago and I paid more than $100. Result is a crooked sleeve which I became aware of just recently. Your prices are high because your rent is high and I get it but not because your quality of work.

They ruined 2 new suits making adjustments they said would be simple. The adjustments caused the sleeves to pull and create ripples. They said they would try to fix - I came three times and each time they said they tried to improve the work, but I dont think they did anything. Finally they said there is nothing more they could do. Took the suits to another Taylor and they adjusted the suits no problem.

If I could describe them in one word, I would say that they are AMAZING!!! I had heard of this business by word of mouth, of course all positive reviews. I had purchased a pair of pants on a Saturday morning and needed them ASAP. Upon arrival, I was greeted by two welcoming gentleman. The business inside is very clean with a modern feel. Mr. Salvador assisted me and listened to me attentively while I explained to him my situation, and what I needed done. What I loved about them is that they had a pair of heels for me to try on with my pants. This insured me that the pants would be cut accurately to the length I needed. Raul promised me that I would have my pants within an hour. An hour later, I went in to try on my pants and they fit perfect! The workmanship performed was of high quality. Both Salvador and Raul were very friendly, courteous, and professional. I would definitely recommend them to my family and friends! Im so glad I came here, they will now be my go to place for all my alteration needs.

Friendly, professional and their craftsmanship is a work of art!!!Im a customer that had several dress pants, coats, blazers, and button up shirts altered.Its very hard for me to find dress shirts that fit the length of my arms. They made the dress shirts fit perfect and they did not look like they were altered! Also with my coats and blazers.The dress pants also are a work of art. You could not tell that there was any alteration done to pants at all. They also fit perfectly!!I would highly recommend anyone in town to come to this place!! Had them tailor a blazer and trouser. Professional consult, listened to how I wanted them to fit, and they made some suggestions for an end result which was a great fit on both items.

This place is such a hidden TREASURE here in Houston. I had less than a week for a wedding to take place and they got my dress 4 days..!!!! I cant thank them enough for them getting is done so quickly. I love there service and so professional. When I went to drop my Davids Bridal dress I hated it. It was sooo long, Im only 411 so it fitted me like if I was the bride. Todays my best friends wedding and I love my dress thanks, I can now feel like a bridesmaid. .. Thank you again.

I bought some nice looking dress shirts from ross, needed them altered quick cause I was leaving the country for a wedding. the staff at nichols took care of me and had those shirts ready asap. they knocked it out of the park 10/10. this is my new spot for any and all alterations, and the fact that its a family run busoness is a + for me.

Absolutely love these guys! I was looking for a place to get my school scrubs altered & a friend suggested to check them out. Stopped by & not only did I get an awesome price, but they were able to alter my scrubs right then & there while I finished a few other errands at the mall. Definitely coming back for future needs!

On July 2017, I had Nichols Alterations to take in my silk jacket from the seam line on the waist and shorten the sleeve from the shoulder. The later task had been treated well. However, the waist had been taken in too much. I could not even button the jacket. Therefore, I had them redone the work. One week later, when I retrieve the jacket, I noticed two unrecoverable needle lines at each side of the seam line of my jacket. I dont understand how can an experienced tailor overdone the take-in job once the measurement is taken. I will never take any garments to them for alteration jobs.

This is my go to shop for alterations. Every employee is well trained and experienced. Depending on the times and they sometimes are able to get it to you within an hour. While you shop around and comeback should be done. Prices are very good, you would be expecting to pay a premium for the place.

I went in there today to get my pants hemmed up and the lady there was very friendly. I forgot my shoes but she had a few pairs there I was able to put on so the length would be correct. It only took an hour so I was able to get some shopping in while I was waiting. I am always going there from now on.

Very expensive (altered 4 shirts for $220). Said fine since my shirts are very expensive too (2 Etro and 2 Robert Graham) and I wanted professional service. It took them 5 days to do it (which is a long time, but I did not mind since I was not in a rush and most importantly I wanted good work). I went tried the shirts, 1 shirt had very tight sleeves, other 2 cuffs were big and not altered, the 4th had a tight sleeve on the one hand and fit sleeve on the other. I really regret taking my new nice shirts to this shop. I tried many tailors, but this is definitely the worse.

Do not use this shop.Two pairs of pants were taken right away to another shop to redo the hemming. Wrong thread type was used, dull needles pulled on pant fabric damaging both pants, 4 inch hemming instead of 1.5-2 done. Very crude look.No refund.
