I have gotten a haircut with George from the very beginning, and he is the one that introduced me to the fade. I used to only get a bald haircut until George blessed me with his holy hands. I will be forever grateful to him for changing the game. Major Deal definitely has some of the best in Houston!

Where do i even start? Major deal have to be the best shop around. Just by sitting in the chair and looking, you can see all the barbers have this go getter attitude. Well? Who cut your hair is the question everyone is asking. George. I honestly can say i can write a back to back novel on how good the experience when getting a cut from him. If i could give him a 10 star i would. Now the cons. The only bad thing i can say is, George is always book so i have to book 2 weeks ahead. I totally understand on why hes always book. Oscar is my barber and hes the only one I let cut my hair! He is attentive, punctual, and can remember your cut. Extremely talented barber. And yes, he can cut all types of hair...even those of us who have locs!!

I’ve been coming to get my haircuts here since I was 15 and they were located next door in what is now a donut shop, they have in my opinion some of the best if not the best barbers in Houston! Very professional and keep the shop clean at all times, walkins are always welcomed and appointments are meet on time highly recommend coming here!!

If I can give more than 5 stars I would. Everyone is a maser at their crafts but I believe my barber @os_cuts(his iG) is wizard with the clippers. I went in looking like a cardboard box came out and started getting replies from all the females that left me on read. I highly recommend this man to handle your cuts.

I get my hair cut with HoustonGeorge all the time! Dude takes his time and is always on point with the work that he does. I NEVER leave the chair feeling like something is off or doesn’t look right. I live on the south side of Houston and made a 45 minute drive to sit in that mans chair twice a month.Every single barber is top quality so even if George isn’t available, take your pick. All of them are extreme professionals. If you need a cut Major Deal is the place to be.

I made an appointment for 930 on Saturday to get my hair braided. Went in and asked the stylist to freestyle . Showed a pic of what i was expecting. Ended up with amateur very loose braids for 35$. The stylist said they didnt have time to fade so i had to leave the shop very unhappy. Would not recommended or revisit

Jasmine is amazing. I went in and she gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. She even brought back my hairline lol. I told her what I wanted and she nailed it on the very first try. Nothing but good things to say about Major Deal. My barber there is a very good friend of mine, so theres no question why I choose to take my business there. He always does me right, with a top of the line taper fade. I dont trust many people when it comes to putting the part (with the clippers and/or straight blade razor) for my comb over. He never fails me, like many barbers have done in the past. I give this place 5 stars because its worth every single dollar I spend there. When you go, make sure you ask for Oscar. Hell have you looking fresh to death. Absolutely.

I would recommend this place but dont fool with Brian! he doesnt respect the fact that HE gave u an appointment! .. now I see how he got the bad review from that other customer who said u dont respect no ones time! if I respect ur time by showing up at the time U gave me then give that same respect to me! So the owner of this shop is a good buddy of mine named George. Ive followed George from shop to shop while he found his best fit, only for him to realize with talent like his...his best fit was to shine on his own. I drive across town for this cut and will continue to do so. My family member and friends go here as well, we trust no others.

I always call in the morning, and they always make an opening for me to get a haircut later in the day! They play music that isnt provocative but still upbeat so you can kinda feel at ease while getting your haircut. Very professional in their efforts. I recommend them for all hair types.
