We recently got married at Ashton Gardens West 6/12/2021 and it was the best day of our lives! Ashton Gardens is a top tier venue with outstanding personnel to make your dreams come true. I had the pleasure of working with Brittney during the beginning booking stages, then shifted to the amazing Shelby who helped with EVERYTHING! All of my questions, worries, and ideas were tackled by Shelby effortlessly with ease. On our wedding day she had everything in line from beginning to end without missing a single beat. She is the best there is! There are not enough positive things I can say about her, the Ashton Gardens team, and the venue itself. Our wedding day was absolutely flawless! Thank you so much for having us!

Nice and beautiful place! Due to Covid, wasn’t able to celebrate but my friend had a wedding there and it was a nice one! Wish COVID is gone so we can celebrate more with people but anyways I had a good impression of this place so if you are planning to have a wedding 💒 it’s the place for you! :)Come and get married! Just amazing! From the first time I saw Ashton Gardens West (under construction) I knew I wanted my wedding here and I’m beyond grateful I was able to make my dreams come true! The chapel is breathtaking and makes for gorgeous pictures! The reception hall is very highly finished and can be dressed up or dressed down. We used half of the ballroom and there was more than enough space! From the beginning of signing the contract to the very end with everything in between, Brittney was a blessing! She answered all questions I had quickly and always made me feel like I was the only bride having a wedding there. During one of the planning meetings we met Scarlett who also assisted Brittney in the end. I brought in a lot of my own decor and they were so accommodating and made all of my visions become a reality! The food was delicious and we had nothing but compliments from all the guests about how beautiful the venue was and how good the food tasted! I will forever be grateful for Brittney, Scarlett and Ashton Gardens West for making my dream day a perfect day! THANK YOU!!

My Brother and New Sister-In-Law, had their wedding here! This Venue Is Great!!!! The area for the Wedding Party, to get dressed, was extremely convenient! The Ceremony in the Chapel was Beautiful!!! After the ceremony, we transitioned to the reception area. The reception area was also Beautiful! And the food was Great! It was an all around Awesome Experience!!!

This place is fabulous. Im large glass windows provided a idyllic setting. The reception venue which is connected to the ceremonial chapel was gorgeous. The staff was also incredible in that you never had to ask for anything because the intuitively stopped by to refill your drinks or ask if you need anything.

One of the most beautiful, romantic, and yet still humble places that still has that uniquely comforting-- i.e. not stuffy or pretentious, vibe in Houston. The perfect venue for a special event to remember. Personally experienced, Ashton Gardens was a beautiful venue for a gorgeous and elegant wedding.

What a dope venue! I’m a DJ with ManandBride.com and had the pleasure of DJing for a couple here recently. The venue managers were on point, food was great, and everything was run to perfection.

Got a tour, nice place overall but was shocked to see that once we discussed the prices their quote was quite different. We understand gratuity on services such as catering, bartender, etc. But gratuity on the venue is unheard of, its like an apartment complex asking you for gratuity added to the rent. We would of picked this place if it wasnt for that detail. I didnt mention it to them because it should be obvious not to charge gratuity for a venue, I have no time to argue. Thats not how I want to start our wedding planning with a venue.

Beautiful Venue

I just attended a wedding at this venue. It is very nice. Spacious, upscale, swanky. You can really transform the space into your own... Or keep it minimal and use the venues decor.

Ashton Gardens West was the very first wedding venue that I viewed. I fell in love with the Chapel and the fact that the banquet room had windows gave it more of an open feeling compared to most banquet halls. And who wouldn’t fall in love with the gorgeous chandeliers! But boy do I regret my decision! The ultimate disrespect was Brittney doing the moment of silence in memory of my recently deceased father before I even entered the Chapel despite it clearly being stated on my Order of Ceremony to be done AFTER I walked down the aisle. I was so upset with my Pastor because I thought he’d forgotten. It wasn’t until I viewed a video of the ceremony that I realized that Brittney did it before I entered. How much sense does that make??? And as a coordinator she should know not to walk down the aisle after the ceremony has started. On the video, Brittney walked down my rose petal layered aisle and walked up to the Pastor and whispered to him to do the moment of silence. So tacky! The second most disrespectful thing the venue did was put us out! We paid up to 10:30pm, BEFORE 10:30pm the last song was played, and the off-duty jerk of an officer began being rude and telling people they had to leave. He even shined his flashlight on people. My mother who is elderly and walks with a limp and my Aunt who is wheelchair bound were rushed also in an extremely rude manner. My Maid of Honor asked Brittney if they do this to everyone. I hope it wasn’t because we were Black. I more-so think it’s because they run weddings like an assembly line; like another number. No wedding was after ours. About two weeks prior to my wedding, I noticed that Scarlett’s demeanor came off like she didn’t want to be bothered and I was not a Bridezilla by any means. Well come to find out, she had given her two weeks notice. I wasn’t surprised by this news; it explained Scarlett’s lack of interest. So, after working with her for nearly a year, I was told two weeks before my wedding that the Sales Director, Brittney Smith, would now be my Day of Coordinator. Thank God I hired my own Day of Coordinator outside of the venue! Kouture Elite Planning saved my wedding day!!!The venue is very strict and used to basic cookie cutter weddings. If you want individuality and for your wedding to reflect your personality, then likely this isn’t the venue for you. I had to get “approval” from the Operations Manager to utilize acrylic heart shaped place cards opposed to the old school paper ones. Why would something like this need approval if it’s serving the same purpose? I found the venues stringent rules hard to work with. I was discouraged not to have a runner in the Chapel because it was a “tripping hazard”. The venue provided what they considered to be a snack. It was horrible! It was me and 3 Bridesmaids and they provided like 3 slices of cheese and a few pieces of fruit. We didn’t even touch it. I was told that I couldn’t use a bubble machine during our first dance because it would make the dance floor slippery. My Maid of Honor’s mother owns her own bakery in Washington D.C. and I’ve always known she’d make our wedding cake. The venue made her jump through so many hoops to get “approved” as an outside vendor. Plus, I read one of the reviews and it mentioned the Bride felt the wedding was “rushed”. Despite me discussing upfront with both Scarlett and Brittney about I didn’t want to feel “rushed” on my big day that’s exactly what took place. The venue provided sparklers for our exit in place of the fireworks. The venue required guests to lineup in the parking lot which made for unattractive exit pictures. I was told the venue does it this way to prevent smoke from the sparklers entering the building. Ridiculous! I was so disappointed at our rehearsal. I was 15 minutes late. We ran through the rehearsal quickly and my elderly mother asked if we could run through it again and because we had reached 1-hour time limit Brittney denied us the opportunity. My outside Day of Coordinator tried to convince her, and she wouldn’t accommodate us.

I cannot rave enough about Ashton Gardens West! We just celebrated our daughters wedding and it could not have been more perfect. We spent a year planning this event. Brittany and Scarlett made the process seamless. The memories made that day are priceless....I cannot thank them enough for all they did to make my daughters wedding a perfect day!The guests were amazed at the elegance of the chapel and ballroom. The food was amazing and the staff tended to our guests with the utmost courtesy and professionalism. I highly recommend this venue for your next event, be it wedding, corporate gathering, or special anniversary. It is well worth the investment!

We were originally supposed to have our wedding in March, but due to COVID spreading for the first time in our area, we decided to postpone to July. Then, in July, my groom was directly exposed to COVID a few days before the wedding, so we had to reschedule yet again! Ashton Gardens was very understanding of our situation and helped us with all the options available to us. We are so grateful that they worked with us to make sure we were still able to have our dream wedding.Throughout the planning process, I was paired with Reem for planning my March and eventually July wedding. She was great in helping us figure out and finalize the details. For my wedding in November, Shelby helped us execute the wedding so smoothly. She coordinated and communicated well with my vendors, so there were no hiccups. I really did not feel stressed about the big day. I truly enjoyed the experience.My guests were very pleased with the wonderful and prompt service, the food, and the beauty of the venue itself. I have a colleague who will be getting married at this venue in a few months, and I am excited to attend because I know Ashton Gardens will help pull off another excellent wedding!

Amazing Venue with incredible staff!

Came here for one of my friends wedding, and it was a very nice venue. The chapel seemed to be geared towards medium sized weddings, but it was very nice. The chapel featured some nice open rafter ceiling, and big windows around the stage area. The seating was traditional pews.The reception area was nice as well, and from what I could see looked fairly large. I didn’t have a chance to explore the entire building, but from what I saw it was a good size. The actual area we ate in had round tables and featured a smaller-medium sized wooden dance floor. One feature I though was really unique was the bride and groom had an exclusive eating area off to the side that was above the rest of the guests. This was cool because it allowed all of the guests to see the bride and groom compared to a normal venue where they are on the same level of the rest of the guest and many of them can see the bride and groom at all.I’m not sure where the food was from but it was great. The wedding staff was very attentive and was quick about attending to all of the needs any of the guest had during the night.

I came here for a friends wedding. The chapel had a nice rustic feel with the exposed wood beams and the reception area had a nice Chateau kinda feel. The food there was pretty good too.

Beautiful wedding venue! I was in the bridal party and saw firsthand how much the staff does to make each wedding perfect. The chapel is very pretty as it looks out into the gardens through floor to ceiling windows an the reception area is large and well kept.

A wonderful venue for a wedding or any type of large event. Cute chapel for wedding and a huge banquet area. Food was very good as well as the mixed drinks were great. The wedding planners were spot on and the rest of the service was outstanding. Hats off to the entire staff for a great memory of my sons wedding.

Had a wedding here in March 2016.The venue staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. We worked with Meghan and she was great as our day of coordinator.Venue itself was clean and looked beautiful. Staff did a great job getting my wife and I food and making sure that the overall day went very smoothly and that things happened when they were supposed to.I will also say this: When you go to taste their food at the tasting meal, it will be mediocre. The food the day of was MUCH better than what they offered at their tasting. I have no idea why. My wife and I were nervous about the food until we actually tasted it day of.

Having my wedding tomorrow March 11. These people are affordable and will work with you AND accommodate you. Especially since Ive so busy 24/7 they made sure we were taken care of. Very friendly and contentious in their approach to working with potential clients. Plus its beautiful!

I just had my ceremony and reception at the new Ashton Gardens location on 12/12 and loved everything about the day! My coordinator Megan made everything go so wonderfully and she was a dream to work with. All the other staff that I worked with or came into contact with were wonderful. This venue has a lot to offer for the bride that wants a chapel and venue next to each other. Highly recommend!

The place is beautiful and I am excited to have my wedding there. The people are nice. I dont usually do reviews but I just wish I had been warned before I fell in love with the place. The first time I visited for the open house I spoke with the manager Brittany and explained my financial situation. She worked with and around my budget and I was extremely grateful. I then began working with Morgan (staff member). My fiancee and I were going back and forth with our officiant about the wedding date and his availability which caused us to have to move the wedding to 2018. When we moved the wedding date Morgan informed me that we could no longer get any of the discounts we were promised. We are now paying 5k more for 50 less people. And they took away the free photo booth. We had to take our plate count down because we just couldnt afford our original number anymore. I understand this is a business and making money is the goal. I just really wish we could have come to a middle ground on the discount and not have lost everything. I know that this review wont change anything for me because I have already signed my contact and they have no incentive to change anything but I hope this helps someone else. Again, really nice people, beautiful location. I just wish things could have turned out different. 😢-Sad Bride

Beautiful venue, they worked with our budget, food was delicious, and Reem was a wonderful coordinator! She worked with us so well and was so patient with us - I’m sure we drove her crazy but you couldn’t tell she was ever bothered by it. You can truly tell she loves her job. We just celebrated our daughters wedding on March 19th and couldnt be happier with the venue or staff. It was a beautiful ceremony and a flawless reception. Thanks to Meagan who did awesome work for us from the beginning to end and to the professional and dedicated staff that made the reception go off with out a hitch. This made a special day that much better.

Daughters wedding at the Ashton Garden West campus was spectacular. Venue was beautiful, food was fantastic, coordinator Bethany was simply magnificent.And agree with another review I read - the food tasted much better the day of as opposed to the pre-tasting event. Have no idea why...

Wedding there on March 11, 2016The venue is beautiful and the separate chapel and reception ballroom was what sold us.However, after you pay off the balance they have many surprises for you.1. They force you to have the buffet on the dance floor (so tacky!) because they dont want to mess up their carpet. As if someone cant spill food at their table onto the carpet, and they should just get rid of carpet if theyre that concerned.2. This means they try to force you to wait to have your first dance AFTER dinner.3. They restrict you on party favors and what you can use for the exit to the car.So basically, you pay all this money for them to tell you how and what you can do at YOUR wedding, and dont put number 1. And 2. In the contract so its a surprise.

Giving 3 stars because the food was below par.... soggy veggies and inedible meat, chicken was alright along with lasagna and salad was small. It would be best to put their salad as a side dish because it was tasty and I would rather eat that and the chicken. The venue is great if this is the most important to you with an excellent large dance floor. We got there (waiting for an hour for bride and groom) and they didnt even have water in the foyer before going into the reception. I think with elderly especially and 100 degree weather that you would just do that as a common courtesy... its water!!!

My wife and I recently married at Ashton Gardens West in July. We could not be more happy with the venue and how our wedding turned out. We checked out a couple dozen venues all across the Houston landscape and found this venue to be one of the most beautiful and cost effective venues that was in our budget range. Their organization is unparalleled from the interviews we had with them compared to other venues. I would also like to brag about our coordinator, Reem Fareed, as she was amazing and a godsend. She made this arduous task of planning and executing a wedding to be so easy and enjoyable. Once we selected and turned over our vendors to her, she took control and we did not have to deal with them before or during the ceremony and reception. I do not think I would have kept my sanity if not for her. We enjoyed the reception hall for our small-medium sized wedding (half ballroom) and also liked that food and alcohol were handled by the venue itself. The food was really good and it seemed that the guests liked the open bar and drink options! We really liked this place due to the chapel that we thought was exquisite and beyond the others that we visited. Amazing setups for any pictures that we wanted. We would highly recommend this venue and would suggest trying to get Reem to coordinate everything for you. You will not be disappointed.

Friend had a very nice wedding and reception here. It is a nice venue with lots of little scenic shots for photographs. No idea on the price though.

Very very bad customer service we went to look at the venue, first they welcomed us but then another person came and started complaining that we are messing up his display table, he said that we are frustrating him, and when we started defending ourselves he told us to leave. Seems like a very racist employee. Others were fine but he really disrespected me and my family. I dont know his name. Will never go back there.

This place was everything, unfortunately the price was astronomical! $7200 for there buffet?!?!..... That not including the Bartending services or the rental of the facility.

We attended a wedding here, and it was lovely. As a guest, I cant speak to the customer service or pricing of renting the facility, but the grounds and the exterior and interior of the buildings are very well maintained and decorated.
