I have used many BodyShops and these guys are second to none! They are honest, fast, perfectly priced, and really know how to get the job done! They really made the whole process really easy and explained everything before I could even ask! Over 5 star service!

I always go to G-man automotive for my oil changes but recently my car was hit and the back bumper and trunk needed to be replaced.G-man did an excellent job, my car is like new and everything was done in a timely manner. He is very professional and reliable and I highly recommend his services.

I took my car here because they accepted my extended warranty. When I went to pick it up they told me that they had done an extra service and tried to charge me for it. I told him that I never approved the service and that I wouldn’t pay for something they did without my consent. The man then flipped and started getting angry and telling me he was going to make me wait so he could undo the service. He also lied to my face and said it was my fault for not answering the phone when they tried to call and confirm. They only called twice to tell me the services were approved and again when my vehicle was ready. At this point I was already late for work because he didn’t open the door until 10 minutes after they opened while I waited outside trying to get someone’s attention, which was impossible because he was playing drums loudly instead of doing his job. He then had the audacity to lecture me about how life works and what I had to do If I wanted things to work out for me in life. He called his supervisor who said I didn’t have to pay for the service and then continued to chew me out about the situation. I have never experienced customer service like this. It was completely unprofessional and started my day off terribly. I fully believe he treated me like this because I am a women and thought he could get away with charging me for an unapproved service. I would steer clear.Edit: since it won’t let me respond to the comment. I’ll edit the post. Nice try with the gas lighting. Like I mentioned before, I did not get a call about the part. You called me twice, while I was at work, to tell me the services were confirmed, and that my car was ready, never about a part (and since we’re pulling out proof, I still have the voicemails which said to call if I had questions. I didn’t.) Also, you open at 8am. I got there at 8am, the door was locked, and the man was in the back till 8:10 playing drums. That is not outside your business hours. ALSO, this man was horrendous. There is no excuse for that. He is a person, but he treated me like dirt and I felt unsafe in his presence. He was the only one there so of course you would give him the benefit of the doubt. I will never be back and this response just confirmed that.

After reading reviews online, I decided to bring my car here. Staff was super friendly and willing to look at my car right away. They began work right away, and I was able to leave with my car repaired 4 short hours later. The quality of the work exceeded my expectations, as did the cost, very fair prices. I have never seen my engine so clean. I highly recommend this place. Honesty and quality are a rare combination, but they are present here.

Awesome service with great prices! Jonathan was very nice, friendly and explained everything very well. Honda was going to charge me twice as much for a windshield repair. G-Man was able to find an affordable route for me. The best part is that they helped me with transportation to and from my car! Fantastic service. My car has broken down about 4 or 5 times in the last few months, it’s old and worn out and has had a range of issues. They’ve helped me out so much with repairs, and the pricing is great. On one repair I took it to a shop that wanted to charge me $300 more than what G man did it for. They’re very honest and helpful. I don’t know a lot about cars but the manager always takes the time to explain the issue to me in depth so I can actually understand the problem and what caused it. I highly recommend this place!

I stopped in Saturday mid-morning because my car would vibrate at an accelerated speed I knew for sure I needed brake pads, but wanted to be sure(I like many others read all of the positive reviews and decided to give it a shot). Im greeted by G-mans son Jonathan, who listens, checks out my car, and instantly quote me on the best pricing youll find for brake pads and new rotors! I worked as a tech briefly in the past, so I know the business a bit and I hardly ever write reviews but was so impressed I had to. These guys had the best price around for some body work (by almost half) and great reviews so tried them out. First for a mechanical issue, they did a great job! Second for body work. I was blown away by 1. Customer service 2. Promise made promise kept 3. Quick turn time 4. Looked great 5. Went the extra mile and did things I did not ask for and did not pay for. Unfortunately I have bad luck driving in Houston .... my car got backed into at a red light (crazy I know!!).. the adjuster gave me the option to chose where to take my car so I chose G-Man because of the reviews. My car looks better than it did when I first got it ! They were super nice .. they even gave me a ride to enterprise to get my rental. I frequently take my car to this Auto repair shop all year long for years now and never once found a reason to question coming back. I regularly get monthly car services from oil changes to general car maintenance issues and minor and major car accident repairs, and I never had anything to complain about. For all things automotive I go here. Family owned. Fair prices. Usually service is very quick. Even big jobs take only a day. They do need to be reminded to shop for parts prices though.

Came in to get an estimate. The only person at the front desk was chatting with another person and I asked how long it would take to get an estimate on a small collision. The employee replied that he would see after he was done with lunch. Now, I respect that people need their lunch breaks but if you are going to be responsible of customer service then dont be up there and just have your lunch somewhere else. Clearly this place is in no need of new customers and I decided that if that was the level of commitment to customer service and professional work, then I dont want my car touched by anyone working here.

I took my car here to have some body work done and they were absolutely wonderful about everything. I had an appointment at 8 am and the worker was running late and I had to get to work asap, but the manager took up the job and gave me a fair estimate without skipping a beat.When I had to drop off my vehicle for work, they got me a rental car very easily and took car of my car in a reasonable amount of time. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone needing to get work done. Good customer service and great work. They really care about their customers. No complaints on my end.

After the first time I came in Jonathan (the service writer) remembered my name, my car, and any services that have been completed. Every employee of this shop is very knowledgeable and willing to explain every detail of the needed repair. They are very prompt and up-front with their automotive services. This body shop is just awesome! Jonathan and the rest of the employees did such a fantastic job fixing up my car and they were very affordable. They only charged me for half of my deductible! I called every few days for the two weeks my car was there and they were happy to provide updates. When I picked it up, they had cleaned the inside and outside and it looked like a brand new car! I will gladly go back there if I need body work again and would definitely recommend them!

I have been to this shop multiple times, and I will continue to only go to this shop because of the great experiences I have had. We recently bought an inexpensive used car from another person to compensate our family vehicle just for my husband to be able to get to & from work.It appeared only to require some minor work done in order to have it running just right.So we went to our local parts store and had the check engine light checked. Then we bought $130 worth of online parts (that were mainly hoses) and did the work ourselves just to come to find out that it needed more work done on it.The issue was, we werent sure exactly what it was.So we googled service shops in our area that offered computerized engine diagnostics and came across G-Man Automotive and brought in our vehicle to be looked at.When I explained to the shop owner that we had a tight budget and that we had already tried to fix it ourselves with what the auto parts store had told us, he looked at their code scan and told me that I would have to change the catalytic converter which a costly part and that he would not even wish to charge us their diagnostic fee since he saw that we were barely starting out as a family.We are grateful for his free advice & for the show of kindness to guide on in the right direction.God bless this family-owned business.

Ive known Gonzalo for years and have always brought my cars to him. Recently, I had G-Man Automotive repair my harmonic balancer on a 2006 Mini Cooper S. I dont know much about cars... all I know is that I saved roughly $1000 in repairs by bringing my car here after getting quotes from two other places. They are fast, friendly, and most importantly, honest. To me, its hard to find honesty in this type of business, and these guys make it easy for me to completely trust them. You will be making the right decision by bringing your vehicles to this shop.

I had the best experience at G-man bodyshop. My car was rear-ended and the bumper on my Honda Civic was destroyed. Jonathon re-assured me and made sure the parts are authentic from Gillman Honda. He was very easy to reach and was communicative via phone and e-mail. When you walk into that bodyshop, the employees treat you like people and not like customers that they want to make money off of. My car was fixed in a matter of 3 days and looked completely new. I love the fact that they took care of other little things going on with my car like the tire pressure and they had secured a metal tube that was dangling from the bottom front of my car. G-man is simply AWESOME. So grateful to have come here.

Did a good body & paint job on my Nissan Altima, was not expensive comparing to other places I went to. The guy was nice and explained about his work, took about a week for the car to be ready. G-Man Automotive is BY FAR THE BEST car service shop I have ever been to. And that is coming from someone who has had a lot of car issues in the past UNTIL I came here. Gonzalo (the owner) is such a great guy and cares about helping out his customers more than making the money. Dont go to NTB, or any other chain car service places. They are a money pit and dont have near the amount of expertise that Gonzalo and his team has. On my last visit, Gonzalo even made a recommendation that I dont fix something with him since I was about to sell the car. Most any other businessman would have tried to work on it to make the extra buck. Gonzalo is the man, his family is great, What a great business!- Costa

I dont know where to begin, but I guess I have to start somewhere.I came due to my car overheating on the highway. I talked to Jonathan on the phone who seemed extremely polite and respectful...over the phone. Everything seemed shady from the start. After running diagnostics, I wanted to take some time to come to a decision, as it was expensive. Johnathon failed to mention they charge $95 for diagnostics to be ran if I did not get the repair the same day. I agreed to have the repairs done because I did not want to lose out on the $95. This is where the trouble started. after replacing the radiator of my car in 1.45 hours I was handed the bill... THEY CHARGED 3 HOURS for LABOR...at $95/hour. After I stated the labor only took 1hour and 45 minutes, Jonathan quickly went on a rant sayin I knew you were this type of person. Um, im sorry, i dont like dealing with un-ethical mechanics. After discussion, in which Jonathan was yelling at me, he stated they go by the book for prices. I asked to see the book and I was repeatedly told to just google it. This shop charges what they want and is unethical. I STRONGLY CONSIDER FINDING A DIFFERENT PLACE TO DO BUSINESS. Jonathans dad however came to the rescue and offered a free oil change. This is sad because jonathan is taking over the business and definitely does not know what customer satisfaction is!I never write reviews but I need to get the unethical behavior of this shop to those trying to consider maintenance on their cars.ADVISED - FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE.Oh, and there was a lady there checking out also surprised by the addition of unwanted services (or services said to be free) on her final bill, in which she ended up having to pay for!UNETHICAL ON ALL FRONTS!

Jonathan Gonzales is a great person, very knowledgable about his cars. They are quick and prompt. I have a red 1989 Honda hatchback back. I gave it to them to fix and it came back like an episode of pimp my ride. Xzibit wouldve been proud my new rims are spinning, no more oil leaks. I can take on any rivers now. I wish I could give 0 stars. I went here to get an estimate on how much my bumper would cost to get fixed. The representative came outside, look at my vehicle, and took me back inside to give me the rundown. However, prior to coming to this shop, the car was inspected by someone from my insurance company who gave me an estimate. This estimate included ALL NEW parts, amount of labor required and its estimated cost which totaled about $1500. Therefore, I was expecting a price in this range. However, the gentlemen gave me an estimate of more than $1000, giving me a total amount in excess of $2500. I called back and asked why the estimate given was so much higher and no explanation could be given. I am unsure whether they gave me this price because I am young and a woman, however, I knew automatically that I was being cheated and do not appreciate it. Find somewhere else to go!!!

I have been taking vehicles to G-Man for about 10 years now and I wouldnt go anywhere else. Theyre efficient in getting people in and out in a timely manner, but the biggest thing for me is their honesty about what your car really needs. When a problem is identified, they take the time to help customers understand what exactly is causing the problem and what is needed to fix the issue. A number of times a VW dealership I went to was pushing a service/repair. I would always take my car to G-Man for a second opinion. For the times that G-Man recommend the service/repair that the VW dealership was pushing, G-Man performed the service for significantly less than the dealer quoted. Save money and time, go to G-Man.
